I would certainly think after 35 years of working in the AoD community that someone would know how to talk with a professional but today this company proved to me that they are not professional and are not capable nor willing to help addicts in need of recovery. Intake and appointment scheduling is very easy. The front desk staff people are friendly and professional. The therapists are top notch. They know what they're doing and are happy to explain what's happening in the body, why it's causing pain, and how various exercises will help with healing, mobility and range of motion. I've been seeing Shamshir at the 75th St. facility by Pick and Save. She's amazing. I cannot believe how much my elbow pain has subsided, and how much my range of motion has improved. An added bonus, she's a friendly and interesting person! I don't love being in pain and needing therapy. But, I am happy to have found Athletico. Highly recommend!

He was impressed by the fact that they were able to figure out what was actually causing his pain and how to address it. We are hoping that this will help him avoid surgery. The ONLY bad thing, which is why we didn't give a perfect rating, is that they will tell you what to do and walk away and work with someone else. I think that they should stay and make sure that they are doing the exercises correctly and not leave someone alone. I don't know if they are understaffed or if this is just their process, but I've had physical therapy in the past at 2 different businesses and was never left alone at either one.
