Pastor Todd teaching out of Romans 11
    Carole H.

I love Crossroads. It's a good Bible teaching church that loves the gospel and desires to see people saved and the members of the congregation grow more in the words of Paul to "walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; -- Colossians 1:10 I've been going for four years now (it's hard to believe, time has flown) it's a decent sized church and I'm thankful they have a variety of small groups that you can attend to build relationships. Pastor Todd called to welcome me to church when I first came (I must have checked something on a box. I don't know) but it was super encouraging in a church of that size. He said he just was calling to say hello and that he was glad I came to their church. Every time I have filled in a prayer card, I get a response in the mail from the prayer team later that week that they prayed for me request. I like the elders and have had some great conversations with them. Of course it's not without its flaws, It's a church full of sinners so sometimes they fall short, of course, like all churches. But I have met super humble people there too and the few times that I have had issues they have been so open to talk and we are groovy-- I have also had people who were kind enough to forgive me when fell short as well-- like Christians should. Also when they fall short they strive to do better. I'm on the prayer team and someone opined that they went up for prayer and they were not seen. So the next week the folks in the prayer team received an e mail to be move vigilant, even if they are not on the schedule. I love that. I love that I have been welcomed to serve and have been included. I have found some great relationships there. Made friends who encourage me in the word and in my life. In conclusion I would like to sum up with this statement; there's a saying there are people who walk in the room and are "here I am" but there are other people who walk into a room and say "there you are" that's what I feel like at Crossroads. They are very are a very "there you are" church-- at least in my experience.

I love how Pastor Todd doesn't "itch ears" but convicts our hearts and yet reminds us how much God loves us.

They serve coffee and donuts as well. They keep the entire building very clean. They provide gender separate restrooms. There is also a coffee shop on the bottom floor. The kids go to a separate area and are divided amongst their ages. The kids appeared to enjoy it. The word of the day was "forgiveness" and the lesson behind it was very meaningful and deep. I came with my home health fam; they are regular attendees. Overall, a great Sunday service experience.

There are a lot of activities and thrills and frills to be distracted from our God from a biblical perspective, a church that is not walking in the Holy Spirit, may still have programs like worship and political teachings, but this place is lacking the transformational power on the fruit that the scripture says the Holy Spirit produces. Today in service, they discussed satisfying our soul and God does not want us to satisfy our souls so he wants us to satisfy and wake up our spirit. Things that satisfy our soul are materialistic, habitual and not lasting. They are quite destructive. Although there are lots of signs of joy, peace, patience, and kindness flowing through this church. I do see a cause for concern. I have been coming here for over nine years and do enjoy the community aspect that the church has brought to our society. I do believe that many of us and all of us have access to the Holy Spirit and many gifts from our father. Although I have heard it preached that we may have one gift. And believe that is quite limiting as our God has no limits. I do appreciate that they have a PRAYER team where people can go and request help but don't understand why they are not teaching and expressing the healing power of Jesus Christ. There are so many people in this world who need healing and they never discuss these things or have access to them through their church. Although they do carry popcorn during their month-long movie series and feminine products in the bathroom. Maybe the pastor needed a vacation this summer and this is why movie series is happening. I do not believe that it should be built off materialism. Yes they have money, and yes, they have power, but that's not enough for our Jesus. I really hope they actually start to discuss the spirit, as their music team is filled with the Holy Spirit, and I don't believe they are acknowledged for what they offer prior to their sermons being preached. They do occasionally have worship nights where they focus just on music, which I believe is really beautiful because the Holy Spirit comes through worship and singing. Thank you very much to our Music staff and PRAYER team for being available. Ultimately, the strongest biblical evidence of the Holy Spirit's presence is not simply an emotional experience or miraculous signs, but lives that are actually increasing and transformed in the character of Jesus Christ. I hope they bring this into their church because it's really important. I hope they're Deacon and pastoral staff start to think a little bigger because our God is so big!! Don't be afraid to try something new and experience some other local churches. God does not want us to be comfortable in routine and to stay stagnant. He wants us to grow. And I hope and pray you continue to grow as well. God bless and amen.

I was attending while my child was participating in a class and had initially been told that I could wait outside the classroom. After sitting quietly for a few minutes, a staff member approached me and asked that I leave the area and wait upstairs. I politely explained that I prefer not to leave my son alone in a building I am unfamiliar with, especially since another parent was seated nearby waiting as well. Despite this, I was again asked to move. In an effort to cooperate, I relocated to the area near the school office and even began the fingerprint/background process they require for parents. While sitting there quietly and not interacting with any children or staff, I was approached again and told to go wait upstairs. At no point was I disruptive or interfering with any activities--I was simply sitting and waiting for my child. The repeated requests to move, despite my cooperation, made the situation feel unnecessary and uncomfortable. Given that another parent was allowed to remain nearby and considering that I was wearing a tank top and have visible tattoos, the interaction unfortunately left me feeling as though I may have been unfairly profiled. I fully respect the need for safety protocols in schools, but policies should be communicated clearly and applied consistently to all parents. My hope is that the school reviews how these situations are handled so that parents are treated with respect and made to feel welcome while supporting their children. Gabrielle and Cassandra we're very emphatic and contradicting to one another as one staff member told me I can sit in a certain area and wait they would come in and say I could not, a different staff member invited me in to sit in the classroom they came in and collected me and removed me very unwelcoming I've never felt so targeted based on my appearance especially at a church.

This is extremely important when learning about our God. Pastor Mauricio is really filled with the Holy Spirit and you can tell it is speaking through him divinely. The worship music was phenomenal and not Short. It was like the perfect amount of time spending opening service. It is easy to find and very welcoming as well as it has lots of security. I love that the church talks about not only God and Jesus but the Holy Spirit. A lot of churches are afraid to incorporate the Holy Spirit, but really without it. You do not get access to Jesus or God, which is extremely crippling. I see this in a lot of denominations, but not here and I am very proud of what they are creating in our community. The ambience is extremely clean, warm and inviting. The volunteers are friendly, and they are extremely welcoming to New followers of Jesus. I'm excited for their event at Castaic lake to watch those being baptized and joining the family of God. They have a lot of opportunities for our children to learn and are coming up with a new app in order to bring Jesus into the home. I can't wait to see what God has in store for their future and plan to be a part of it!! God bless them, their community, their land, and everything they touch! Amen This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you really want to understand, you should go to this place!! So proud of them. Also on my side note when the local coffee shop down the street was vandalized and had their glass broken the Church stepped up and volunteered to buy the new glass at the store front of Henrys Coffee Shop!! they have amazing coffee and they are spiritually ran as well!
