Service was immediate and friendly at the counter to order. My son and I both wanted their legendary pulled pork. I got a platter (half pound) and son sandwich, I tried the collards for the first time with baked beans. My son got a side of fries. We decided to try a brownie, also first time. The drink station had dining room were tidy. Food pushed out in minutes. I immediately noticed they took care of my son on fries with what appears to be a double order. Everything was tasty and glad I tried the collards, super yum. The brownie topped our meal off nicely. If you've never tried Mission you should. They support military and first responders like no other business.

Let's see how this visit turned out. It wasn't packed with customers when we dined-in which was just fine with the both of us. The staff greeted us when we walked inside. Even one of them gave me a compliment on the shirt I was wearing. Definitely a real good feeling when they make you feel welcome. Just like before, we ordered at the counter before getting seated. My selection was a combo plate of moist beef brisket and sausage with fries and a drink and some of their sauces. Everything was cooked well and I got full halfway. I actually gave Sophia some of my food to take home with her. Truly a great vibe when we dined. Thanks to the staff for making us feel comfortable. Till next time :)

She was incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we were there, making sure we had everything we needed. But what really touched us was when she brought the guys freshly baked cookies beautifully plated on a tray with "Thank you for your service" written on it. It was such a simple gesture, but it genuinely meant so much. Wearing a police uniform in public doesn't always bring kindness or appreciation, so to have someone go out of her way to make them feel welcomed and appreciated was incredibly touching. Bri didn't have to do any of that, and that's exactly what made it so special. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine appreciation absolutely made our lunch. Mission BBQ is already known for supporting our military and first responders, but Bri truly embodied that today. Thank you, Bri, for being such a kind human and for making three officers feel appreciated. I know they won't forget it

The side of fries was expensive and there weren't many fries included. They weren't anything special, and seemed old and that they'd been sitting under a warmer. The chicken and baby back ribs were both tender but lacked flavor. The half chicken was pretty small. The ribs were fine but needed sauce. The greens were good. I'm rating a 3 because the meat was tender even though it lacked flavor and because the greens were good. Overall, I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back.

Love looking at all of the photos at patches on the walls! HIGHLY recommend the jalapeño cheese sausage, fantastic. The best i've ever had. I also love the seasonal cheesy potatoes side. Pulled pork NC style is beyond amazing. Us Texans have never been more grateful to have found good BBQ here in VB. We will be back a hundred times over!

The craving for BBQ wouldn't stop haunting me, so I finally gave in. The prices can add up quickly…read moreso I opted to get all sides and eat it with a meat from home. That's how you ball on a budget. Lol. When I walked in they weren't to busy, so I was in and out of the line quickly!! The cashier was friendly and staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean as well. They have a section where you can fix your own sauces also. Which I can appreciate!! I got the corn casserole, baked beans, Mac and cheese, and Mississippi mud pie. It was about $17 for everything. Corn casserole: Ummm , Mmmmm. Definitely a good side. It's like a softer idea of corn bread with corn that you eat with a fork. It was forking delicious!! Lol. It was moist and worth trying. 8/10 Mac and cheese: you can't come and not get the Mac n cheese. It's hot, creamy, and really good. I love that it's not dry like some places, and it's not kraft Mac n cheese. It's like someones grandma made it and she put her back into it. Just get it!! 8.5/10 Baked beans: they were decent baked beans with a few pieces of brisket in it. They went well with the other sides. 7/10 Mississippi mud pie: Lawd have mercy! If you like chocolate pudding this will peak your interest. Its chocolate pudding that has a marshmallow in the middle and graham cracker crust. Ughhh, I enjoyed it so much I still think about it.. if your a big back like me, adding it to a brownie will set it off to a whole different level!!! 10/10 The sweet BBQ sauce was Memphis heat, and the white sauce were my top picks. The Nashville hot, knocked my socks off, it was spicy spicy!! But It was good. I mixed them and it mellowed out. I enjoyed my meal. It definitely put me into a food coma shortly thereafter!! Lol. I napped like a baby and woke up happy. I recommend trying Mission BBQ if you haven't. Check them out!!

I kinda understand why, but then again, if you're gonna have a business like this) I kinda don't. Ribs and jalapeños smoked sausage were not available. I was told that for ribs, you should contact them 24 hours in advance. This was a deal-breaker almost, 'cause we really wanted to do the ribs, and there was no indication that some items might not be available. The food and appetizers came out at the same time, so our table was loaded, and we could not eat fast enough before it got cold. I shared my displeasure with my server, but she just gave me the "deer in the headlights." look. The drinks were weak and expensive. There are a few arcade games and plenty of space. Service is ok, but not great. The food was ok; some items were dry. The fries were hot, and nothing special about the service. Cool place to hang out, watch games, and drink beer, but it's just ok.
