You'll never see the same doctor twice because they never stay. I met with some terrific doctors at this practice (Dan, Shannon, Jen), the sad reality is that the dysfunctional managers/ staff make it impossible to retain decent doctors. I was on my 3rd doctor, Jennifer Johnson (she is AMAZING) however like all those before her, she no longer works there. I only found out Dr. Johnson had departed when I tried to book a follow-up appointment. As per usual, the receptionist was cagey with me, never disclosed that my Doctor was no longer working there. Never did they think to communicate this to patients, who pay $1,300/ yr in membership fees. I've been through this THREE times in three years.

I signed up, saw a doctor (Dr. Ryan) the same day. She was quite smart and spend 20 minutes just talking with me about my lifestyle before anything else. Then we spent another 20 minutes talking about my cold, tests we could do and ways I can improve my health. My appointment lasted almost an hour and I left feeling great that I finally have a doctor 1) I love and 2) I don't have to worry about the insurance game to see her. Guaranteed same day or next day appointment so none of the 3 month wait time nightmare that was my primary care insurance. She suggested a gym membership (they have a trial with CAC) and then asked if I needed help being accountable. She is checking in on me the next time I'm in. No matter for what reason I made the appt, it was always "your weight, your weight." My father was "50 lbs overweight" from age 65 up. He walked 5 miles a day, did push-ups, danced was very active & alert. Lost he 50 lbs & died of pneumonia after becoming too weak to be very active. Weight is NOT the guideline for health. My BP was always normal, all other tests normal. She ruined me for doctors. I mistrust doctors now because of her. Her PA was often high strung & freaked out. She kept telling me that one of my meds was a Schedule I drug. NO, it's a schedule IV. I know how to read & I have read the guidelines for psych' meds. She would shriek "This is a Schedule I drug you are on!!! It is VERY addictive!!!" Get someone who can read, please.

The nurses and doctors supervised on a timely basis and monitored. I was ready to get on a plane yesterday after wasting over 10 hours at Presbyterial Cornell ER which was the complete opposite. The women up front were very kind and helpful, and my daughter was seen within 20 minutes of arrival. The doctor was professional, kind, mild mannered, and easy to talk to. We opted to give her a variety of different test to ensure she didn't have anything serious, and it turned out just fine. We have pretty mainstream insurance and I paid $60 upfront and $60 later on. This seemed reasonable due to the nature of the visit. It turns out she didn't need any medicine, but we had lots of peace of mind going to visit our family, knowing that we were gonna be a-ok.

I was due to play my cello fifteen feet up in the air in the coming days as part of my one-woman show that had a run time on one hour. My family encouraged me to go into urgent care. I simply picked this one because it allowed my to make an appointment instantly with little wait time. When I arrived, I had no wait time and was kindly ushered into a room. The nurse entered and took my vitals in less than five minutes of entering the room and was super kind. Soon after Aisling Ryan - Abbott stepped in and very quickly assessed the situation. She listened and was sympathetic to my situation and immediately gave me a plan of action after having me tested for COVID, RSV, and Influenza. My results showed I had Influenza A. Not just a cold. The relief of knowing what was going on, along with an action plan was a huge weight off my shoulders. Soon after starting treatment I found myself feeling immensely better and feeling confident about my airbourne performance. Every moment of my visit from desk to doc was perfect. I am giving him a one star rating... 1. on two occasions I was less than 5 minutes late and turned away. On one occasion I was assisting in an accident that occurred and the second occasion was due to weather that was not forecasted causing traffic to be extremely long. I love about 35 minutes away and would leave at least an hour before my appointment. I was technically late, but where is the reverse "punitive measures" when I am forced to wait? 2. When speaking with the staff that schedules, they are very abrupt and short. If I asked them to repeat anything, it was met with a sigh and attitude in the voice as if I were putting them out. 3. Billing is terrible. I have never received a first bill, only bills that say I am past due and pay immediately. When I call their billing office, I am met with an answering machine after a few minutes of prompts and have only received a call back 2 out of 5 times. Overall the feeling is that I am a number and dollar figure, not a patient.

It was breast cancer, and a few months after she discovered this tumor I had a double mastectomy. Because she found it so early I did not need radiation or any further treatment. I am now cancer free and able to go about my life without constant worry of recurrence. Dr. Susskind is also the pcp for my two sons. She is absolutely the best physician. Not only is she proactive, diligent, and brilliant, she is a warm and delightful person with empathy and compassion for all of her patients. I am so grateful she is my doctor. She's the best.

Things that were promised to me prior to intake: *I would be provided clinical assessments, along with Autism screening. *I would not be forced to meet with a male via therapy or psychiatry appointments outside of initial intake meeting. *I would be provided virtual care ONLY for therapy and psychiatry appointments. *I would meet with a psychiatrist and have medication management within the month / before my current prescriptions ran out. *They offer a group IOP program. ALL OF THIS WAS A LIE: *They dont offer any clinical assessments outside of initial intake assessment and they do not offer any autism screening. *I was told last minute that I now have to meet with a male psychiatrist if I want to get my medication filled on time - a month into the program (AKA - Now I dont have a choice and am being forced to) *They tried to reschedule my first psychiatry appointment to TWO WEEKS after my medication was set to run out and then told me id have to go in to the office (which they knew I am currently unable to do). Then, after I told Elizabeth Hutchinson, the temporary psychiatrist they set me up with, that I was highly allergic to a specific drug (I told several people this from day one. The one time I was put on it in the past, I had a negative reaction and my work had to call an ambulance), she decided to prescribe an off brand of it to me anyways without telling me that it was an off brand of the drug I had the negative reaction to. THEN, the second time my prescriptions needed to be filled, after Id already met with Elizabeth that month to fill it, she failed to send in my prescription so I went additional days without my medication. Because of this, I had a total breakdown and almost had to be admitted. *Prior to intake I was told I would only have virtual psychiatry appointments. After intake I was told I had to come in. After threatening to get a lawyer, somehow they were magically able to give me virtual appointments. Then I was told id have to be given a new psychiatrist and id have to meet them in person. A few days later I was told they could do it all virtual (by my therapist). ONE HOUR LATER I was advised they could not do it virtual and that I would have to go in person. And I am summarizing. There were at least 14 interactions where I was told conflicting information about this over the course of a month. *They do not offer an IOP group program - they offer one day of DBT therapy per week.. for only an hour and a half! *They were verbally abusive on several occasions. They talk to you like you are complete trash. I almost had to be admitted on two other occasions because I had breakdowns based on how I was being verbally treated by them. I came to this facility seeking help and guidance and have had nothing but issues and increased trauma because of it. I am now having to work with my individual therapist (outside of this company) to overcome the trauma being caused by this facility. Patients should not be having repeated breakdowns caused by verbal abuse and inconsistency from the organization they reached out to for help in a time of need.. and its clear from other reviews that I am not the only one and that this is far from an isolated incident. If this happens to you, too - get a lawyer. At the very least, this company could have caused me serious physical harm by prescribing me medication I advised them several times I was highly allergic to. That by definition medical malpractice and neglect. And the psychiatrist that did this, mainly treats children. What is it going to take for this company to get its act together? Them killing a patient? Or god forbid.. them killing a child because they didnt want to take the time to read their chart?
