I absolutely agree with the other comments that since UnitedHealthcare/Optum purchased New West Physicians, it has become nightmare of incompetence. I was referred to a specialist on February 25, 2025 by Dr. Kylie Beukema (wonderful MD!) and I'm STILL waiting to even get an initial appointment 6 months later due to miscoding my condition multiple times!! By the way, she left the practice in March, no surprise there. 1.The referrals are not handled in house and the phone contact you are given often leads you to a full voicemail or doesn't connect at all. 2. They only want to refer you to Optum contracted physicians 3. Front of office staff has actually lectured me rudely for being frustrated with my situation while my condition deteriorates!! 4. I'd spoken to Corbett, the regional manager in early July and he assured me there would be correction of my situation (spoiler, he now doesn't return my call) 5. The phone number they give in the canned responses to these reviews leads you to a healthcare conglomerate in Nevada with no humans on the line. 6 months with no ability to set up an appointment with a needed specialist while my condition rapidly deteriorates is malpractice and malfeasance. I ran out of both of my prescribed medications one for blood pressure and one for high cholesterol a little over a week ago and the pharmacy tried to reach out to them to get them refilled with no response so I called them to get them to send the new prescription so I could get them refilled so I could start taking them again and they won't do it because I'm due for my six month checkup which I would have no problem making an appointment and doing that but unfortunately I can't because I recently had a nasty fall and suffered a tibial plateau fracture and am not cleared to drive but they don't care so I called them my self and demanded they submit a refill order so I could get back on them before something went wrong and had to argue with them that I can't drive so they called in a 60 day supply of the cholesterol medication rather then the normal 90 bottle which is what my insurance requires and a 90 day bottle of the blood pressure pills which is correct and since they only did a 60 day supply my insurance won't cover it so if I want to get them I would have to pay $300 for what normally would only cost $30. I have no idea why they would do the 90 day supply for the blood pressure and only 60 day supply for the cholesterol when for as long as I've been going there it was always 90 days each. Either their just that dam stupid or they just don't car all because I won't do what I literally do for other legit medical reasons.

They diagnosed me with acute respiratory illness and gave me a prescription for nasal congestion that I was told to take for four days, plus take mucinex which is btw I'm already taking it before coming here plus the ibuprofen/tylenol if Im in pain. I did exactly all that, but it didn't help at all! In fact, after three days my condition got worse I was having an even harder time breathing, and my throat was extremely painful. Two weeks later, I found out they billed me $365.86 (I don't know how insurance works with private clinics but its not worth it in my experience going in this clinic!!!)
