There was a whole menu but was told there's only a few items available. It even gave the impression that she assumed we couldn't afford the restaurant, which was uncomfortable, especially when she stands there and STARE at your table while you dine. What made the experience worse was watching her check on the other tables with a warm, friendly tone while treating us very differently and cold. The contrast was noticeable and made us feel unwelcome. As for the food, we ordered a bottle of water because we had our own personal water bottles and was told we're not allowed to drink it there, we ordered three buttered pasta dishes for the kids (which were actually the best items we had on the menu, ravioli, which was disappointing, and the salted cod. While I understand it's supposed to be salty, both the cod and the red sauce were overwhelmingly salty to the point that it affected the dish. Sadly, because of the poor hospitality, we would not return. Good service should make every guest feel welcome, regardless of whether they're ordering a light meal or a full dinner. The friendly staff apologized and recommended restaurant Silvio, they said the food was amazing and that they would still be open. When we arrived at the restaurant it was now 9:50, the restaurant was about to close at 10pm. The friendly and accommodating staff did not hesitate for one moment and graciously welcomed our party of 5 to a table. They encouraged us to place our orders since the kitchen would be closing soon. We never once felt rushed, the friendly staff chatted with us and shared a laugh or two while offering plate recommendations. That is not even the best part, the food began to arrive and we quickly realized just how amazing this dinner was going to be. My husband and I shared the fried fish over rice as it's for two, absolutely delicious! My daughters ordered the tagliatelle with tomato sauce with cheese (omg wow! My 4 year old devoured the plate without a word!) my lucky husband was given a bite and said it was the best pasta he's ever had. My other daughter aged 6 ordered the white fish special they had and it was cooked perfectly and every bite was full of flavor. My mother ordered the suckling pig, slow roasted for countless hours, melts in your mouth, bursting with flavor and the most amazing sauce. My mom usually hates sauce, always asks for it on the side and usually never eats it. She practically licked the plate.
