I got the #6 and added lettuce, tomato, pepperoncinis, pickles, and olives. The most honest way I can describe my sub was that it was the most mediocre sub I've eaten. The bread tasted stale and was fairly tough to bit into, the meat was meh and the toppings were a let down. When you watch your server literally counting out how many small olives or pepperoncinis they're allowed to put on your sandwich, you're at the wrong sub shop. The people working here were genuinely nice and friendly and you could tell they have a strong rapport with the regulars, but I was just so disappointed in my sub. If I had to choose, I would pick Jersey Mike's over this location every time. It's not even close. I can't recommend eating here. I definitely didn't experience what all those other people experienced who gave this place 5 stars, but I know I could make a better tasting and fresher sub at home. Pass on this one sadly.

Color me reasonably impressed. I walked in and almost felt like I was at a gentlemen's club. Dimly lit and hip hop playing. There were maybe like ten machines. No table games. I was the only customer in the joint. Walked up to the bar and perused the selection. Mostly Miller, Coors and other macrobrews. Went with a Heineken. The bartender says that will be a buck, is that alright? Uhhh, yeah, of course that is alright. She explained that the cheap beers are free and premium beers and shots of hard liquor with your choice of mix are a buck so long as you are playing. Game on! Put my twenty in and the slots were loose. Lots of hits. No long dry spells. Worked my way up to triple my investment and decided to cash in my chips. Signs over the machines say to call the bartender over before you cash in. I did so, and left with two extra Jacksons for about twenty minutes worth of time. Hey, it's nowhere near to Vegas but for the Midwest - I'll take it! I'm not aware of any casinos in MN or WI that do drinks Vegas style. If I had won a hondo, we would be talkin' a four star review!

We took an uber (short drive) but the hotel does have a shuttle if you arrange it. We learned that lyft has more drivers than uber in this area if that is helpful to anyone. Things we loved: - the add on during booking was worth it (strawberries and champagne) - the kitchenette area is not tiny - I love the non slip floor in the bathroom and shower. The look of it and the functionality. please link me, I need this floor at home! - mattress comfy - very clean rooms, robes presented on beds very nice touch. - dimming lights Staff are nice and they have a little coffee breakfast nook with goodies by front desk as well. This location is very walkable to go get a burger or breakfast sandwich down the street too. Super bonus is the treasury restaurant inside the hotel through the safe door. We are suckers for history and a swanky atmosphere. I wouldn't want to park here - it is a tight lot. Even the Ubers and Lyfts have trouble getting in and out because it is narrow. I mean people do, I just personally would not. Thanks for the wonderful stay. If we have to come back to Sioux Falls we won't be staying anywhere else but here.

My hubs coordinated with the hotel and they had our room decorated with rose petals and NA champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a small cake in the fridge waiting for us. It was so cute! The only gripping we had was not having a closet to store our things for the weekend but other than that the room was great and our bed was extremely comfortable, like a nice toasty cloud.

From the name (across from a hospital no less) to the extremely friendly and accommodating folks behind the bar. I know that I have found my go to bar stool when staying near Sanford. It is a short walk from the Home2 Suites property and they have a pretty decent assortment of food. I wish they had more beer but I do like a Coors light every now and then.
