Service Requested: I needed legal representation to negotiate and enforce an agreement, particularly when the other party failed to meet agreed-upon payment deadlines. Although I fulfilled my obligations, payments were repeatedly late or missed. On several occasions, I was encouraged to allow additional time rather than immediately pursue enforcement. In my experience, this prolonged an already difficult situation and contributed to additional financial and legal expenses. Quality of Service: This was the most disappointing part of my experience. I frequently felt that I had to closely monitor the details myself. I spent many hours reviewing documents, organizing records, preparing information, and identifying errors that required correction. This included an error involving more than $25,000. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I expected a greater level of accuracy and attention to detail considering the seriousness of the matter. I also often felt that my interests were not being advocated for as strongly as I expected. Going through a difficult situation is stressful enough; having confidence in your legal representation is extremely important, and unfortunately, I did not consistently have that confidence. Value: Considering the nearly $7,000 retainer, additional legal fees, and the ultimate financial outcome, I do not feel I received the value I expected. I ultimately received approximately $40,000 less than the amount originally contemplated in the settlement and incurred significant additional expenses and interest during the delays. I was also presented with an additional bill of $2,625 that I disputed. I recognize that attorneys deserve to be compensated for their work, and I can only speak about my own experience. However, when considering the service I requested, the quality of the representation I experienced, and the overall cost, I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not use this firm again or recommend it to family or friends.
