We absolutely love Crow Farm! Great little farm for apple and pumpkin picking without the gimmicks and crowds. Extremely friendly staff - highly recommended!

Worst pie I have ever had, beware!

Unfortunately the pie was terrible. Watery filling with a "tough" crust. How is this possible??!! I'm not going back

Their shop also had varieties of snacks that would go with a perfect bottle of wine that you'll grab there - lots of options. Service was friendly. On this trip, we had pizza, sandwiches and wine. We sat outside in the courtyard area to enjoy our pizza and beverages - perfect place for a lunch!

I recommend this store for many reasons; we've been there about two dozen times when futzing about…read moreJarvesville. First, they are an everything artisan food store: sandwiches to be made or pre-made to-go, a fine wine collection (caveat emptor - they tend to store the finer wines vertically - a major wine faux paus), fine artisan pasta, organic bakery, and a very nice British-style candy offering. Secondly, in the wine room off to the side they have a table and chairs where you can sit and sip your coffee. No bathroom. Only one table. With four chairs. My only complaint, well, not really a complaint per se, an observation. In my empirical experience, the lady who runs the cash register seemingly watches you, as though you are going to shoplift. It's a little uncomfortable, as we are Harvard educated yuppies, dressed right out of the Preppy Handbook, and we don't present ourselves in a sketchy or shifty manner. It's ok, ma'am, that little inconvenience is worth your offerings a couple of times a year. It's Jarvesville, not Twin Peaks.

This is completely unacceptable and reflects extremely poor organization. When I asked the hostess to speak with the manager, she arrogantly replied, "I am the manager." Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. They insisted they had sent me a text message, but I never received one. I even showed them my phone to prove there was no message, and their response was, "That's not our problem." Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they chose to blame the customer and showed absolutely no concern. The level of disrespect we experienced was shocking. The staff clearly have no regard for customer service or basic courtesy. Being treated this way after waiting 90 minutes is unacceptable. I will never return, and I would strongly discourage anyone from supporting a business that treats its customers with such disrespect

There are several reasons to shop at this always very crowded grocery store on Cape Cod…read more One, the prices. They cannot be beat anywhere. Market Basket provides value compared to the other large grocery chains. This not only includes private label products but also branded products. I could easily put a list together on items that are much cheaper here than Stop & Shop. Example: a popular brand of soup. 2 cans for $5 at Market Basket. One (1), can of same exact soup is $4.79 at Stop & Shop...what???? Two, the service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Also, they always have a decent amount of checkout cashiers, so even on the busy days, the lines are not too bad. Three, the cafe. The cafe has very good takeout food and offers an excellent variety. The pizza is solid. I hear people raving about the steak bombs, but I have not tried one yet. Four, the location. This location is just past the Sagamore bridge as you head east over the canal. It's easy to get to and then get back on the mid-cape highway. The only real negative is that it is generally pretty crowded (for the reasons I mentioned above, I am sure). The store aisles are a bit tight, so it can get pretty hectic in there. However, the pros far outweigh this one con.

Because it's so crowded many pickpocketers prey on distracted people with kids or vacationers. Make sure you don't leave anything in your cart that's a personal item because IT WILL GET STOLEN if you walk more than a foot from your cart. Happened to me and another man in the 30 minutes I was there. I walked three feet to grab eggs and had to wait a minute due to a person in front of me. The criminals took my cart and another person's cart- combining half the items and then walked away with my cart and bag toward an exit. Thankfully the bag was not my purse but they thought it was! In my case they were two dark haired people working together. A security guard who roams the aisles would be a good idea. Really. Be careful!
