The biggest issue about planning a first visit to Salem in October, is how many people plan their first visit to Salem in Orlando... My girl wanted to wait in line for this shop, due to the "love witch", so... we did. I will admit I am not into the occult in any way, I have no basis for my opinion other than a gut feeling, however, while many places in Salem exude some sort of "vibe", make you feel something, this is not one of those places. It is a rushed and hurried affair to push people though buying overpriced product simply because it is tagged with someone's name. Visited Salem this week from Maine. Crow Haven Corner caught my eye instantly! It was actually the first shop we visited on our trip! When I first walked in we were greeted immediately by a gentleman named Vincent. He was very welcoming and accommodating. As I started browsing I was immediately drawn to the Deviant Moon tarot. Vincent and I struck up a conversation after he started to tell me how great this deck is because he owns it. I did not purchase the tarot that visit. On our last day of the trip, I felt a calling to go back to the Crow Haven Corner. I was still up in the air on whether or not I was going to purchase the deck on the walk there but I wanted to go back either way to make a purchase to Salem Saves Animals. As we opened the door back into the shop we were greeted by Vincent again with a big smile! "We're back" I said and he said " I knew you would be!". This is when he proceeded to pull out his own personal Deviant Moon deck as well as a tarot project he was working on. He explained to me how the artist of the deck came up with the concepts and designs and I knew immediately then that I was meant to come back here and purchuse the Deviant Moon tarot deck. It to me was a confirmation! And of course I did purchase something for the animals! I just love that Especially being an animal lover and owner myself, that the owner of the shop is a co-founder for a nonprofit organization to help pay for medical bills for the animals in need in Salem. All in all, I had a extremely pleasant experience visiting Salems oldest Witch shop! The atmosphere was very inviting, the employee and reader were very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very pleased with the quality of my purchases and the products in the store! There was a vast array of stuff to choose from! Not to mention how delightful it smelled! This place was not on my to visit list when I came to Salem. First time visit for me this year and as far as I'm concerned this place is a must stop. On top of it being one of the oldest witch shops in Salem, it has a great vibe to it. Out of every "metaphysical" shop I visited, this one stands out. I love that the owner has such a passion for animal rescue as well. I got a reading from Charlotte and found her very brisk and informative in the best way. I didn't feel like my leg was being pulled or that any BS was being had. As a practicing which myself, I felt very educated, uplifted, and found the entire experience rewarding. This place is known for the oldest witch store. I have never really been to a witch store so wanted to check out what they have to offer. The place is small and has a very strong incense smell. There are a lot of crystals and pendants on sale but what got my attention were these handmade candles. Each candle smelled different and also had a spell on it. I purchased one for success, it smelled the best. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but this candle actually smells very good. Fun shop, great energy! Readings a hugely popular here, but we were popping in for the shop! I picked out a witch ball- glass balls I have collected for the past 10 years and the first one I ever bought was here in Salem. But I was tempted by plenty of other items. The lady behind the counter was having fun singing to the music overhead and occasionally dancing too! I loved the huge crystal balls they had in the window, stained glass art and artisan ceramic tiles. There's so much more too! This is the oldest witch house in Salem. It was built in 1830 as a house. Has a tarot reading at the back for $25. Underneath your feet is the original wood that was used for building this house I didn't enter this shop to buy anything but to know and learn about witchcraft and witches. This store was recommended by our city walking tour. Unfortunately the lady at the checkout was too busy to answer all my questions. If you're going to schedule one thing to do on your visit to salem, it should definitely be the witch walk! Charlotte was the best. She took us around town giving us a deeper understanding of witchcraft, the history of salem, and some humor mixed in too. We started with a ritual in the alley and charged up our crystals before heading out. Whether you're into it or not, I feel like I learned a lot from a person who wasn't just playing a character but who really lived it. Charlotte was so authentic with who she was and opening up to the group. April 22, 2023 reading I had heard about Lorelei and was anxious to meet the infamous self-proclaimed "love witch" of Salem, MA. She did not disappoint! I was the last reading of the day and Lorelei made me feel right at home. I went to the second floor where you notice black and white tile walls, giving me Beetlejuice vibes (fav movie!). Anywho, she was extremely kind and talking to her made you feel as if you've known Lorelei your whole life. When asked about recording the reading, Lorelei gave an immediate and resounding, "of course! I want you to" with a big smile on her face. Honestly, she reminds me of the Long Island medium except with better hair and nails that don't look like they'll claw your eyes out lol. She starts out explaining what she will do for the reading and what each element entails: read palms (she can detect personality traits among other things like your life line, career, even if you've had an active or lack there of sex life). Next, she has you place your hands on a tarot deck and hers on top of yours and does a quick health scan. This was eerily accurate and makes me more curious about how intuitive she is just from a few minutes sitting down. Afterwards, she has you pull four cards at a time and can pick up on your most recent energy. Most of what she read I resonated with, but I'll need to re-listen to the recording because in the moment you're too focused on what she's telling you to analyze each aspect of her reading. She also gave me an apple love spell which was so interesting but more importantly fun! Half the joy of getting a reading is the positive vibes she gives which is infectious. Overall, I feel confident and cautiously-optimistic about my love life moving forward. I'll update once some of what she has predicted comes to fruition----but seeing as it's Mercury Retrograde in Taurus season and a lunar eclipse in Scorpio this Friday (05/05) I'm going to bet the love predictions will hopefully come true after May 14 once Mercury is done retrograding. 5-stars thus far, would highly recommend, she's a great person but more importantly she's a caring intuitive and it's evident throughout your entire interaction with Lorelei. So disappointed about writing this because I was so excited to go here. Unfortunately, because my interest wasn't so much on love I decided to skip visiting with Lorelei and see another tarot reader. I didn't have anything in particular that I needed to ask I was just curious about tarot cards and just wanted to kind of be open. I paid $50 for 15 min and it was the worst $50 I ever spent! She asked me what I do for a living which I didn't really want to answer because I didn't want the focus to be on me giving away info if that makes sense. I wanted a clean reading. But I said it, and the entire reading was on work. It did not apply at all and I was like ok can we talk about ANYTHING else. Like do my cards say anything else besides a made up work scenario that she created lol. But I'm too nice and just lied and said it applied because the reader already looked kinda nervous that she wasn't getting much of a reaction from me. I also watched her set a timer and then she said the reading was over BEFORE it even went off. What a waste of time! Save your coins y'all. read more

The oldest witchcraft store in Salem! Originally owned by a Cabot. We took a witchcraft tour, which included a blessing ritual, and the history of witchcraft. The kids really loved it and our guide has trained with many in the witch community. We met the owner as well. We donated to the save salem animals organization they founded and loved on the owners dog, Star (she was rescued after being left in an abandoned building with no food or water). Pj was our guide and he was absolutely hilarious. We learned how much the filming of season 7 of bewitched in salem really put salem on the map for something other than murdering falsely accused witches. We infused stones with intent and left them around our tour path. Highly recommend visiting the store and taking the tour if you ever get the chance. Thanks pj! read more

My wife and I, with our daughter and her love, visited Salem this weekend. It was a dream come true in so many ways. Except for this. My wife is in a wheelchair; not permanently, but she has cancer and in both chemo and radiation treatment and wouldn't have the stamina for the trip. When we stopped in front of Crow Haven, the person manning the front door said there was no ramp. That's fine, she can walk those three stairs and I will carry the wheelchair up. There's no room for a wheelchair inside, he says. After a brief discussion, she decided that she is willing to try to walk around inside. I ask if I fold the wheelchair, can we tuck it away since it is raining and I don't want to leave it outside in the rain. He says there is no room for wheelchairs, at all, with a disingenuous smirk on his face. We ended up spending a couple hundred dollars at Enchanted Shop, where they treated us with compassion, sympathy, and dignity. read more

STAY AWAY from witch walk tour!!!! On October 1, 2020 during the night tour, Tour guide lead group through a different tour group like a bulldozer. Forcing members of the other group of the curb and causing on of them to fall to the ground between two cars. No apology. I was apart of the other group your guide forced of the curb out of the way. I was the tourist who fell to the ground. I am the person who didnt get an apology for your employees rude behavior. As the universe would have it, your guide walked past me this morning as I left my hotel (Salem Inn). I stop them to ask which tour they ran. Their eyes lit up like they were about to make a sale. When I was asked how I heard about the Salem witch walk from Crow Havens corner; I was more than happy to inform them of their poor publicity. How I was treated by them, how rude and unprofessional they were, and how should be grateful they didnt seriously injure me. At this point one would think an apology would be given. Nope, they stood there repeating "Rude? RUDE?RUDE?". I responded "Yes, Rude." And they turn to their friend and said, "Come on Lena, lets go to work". No apology, no "are you ok" no two Fs given. This review is for the witch walking tour. We did a haunting and history tour the night prior, so the kids wanted a witchy one. The shop is nice as well. Alot to see. We did the tour with Charlotte. You start off in the back outside of the shop to do a protection ritual. Then she takes you around basically telling you the history of witches. Pretty cool. read more

The staff here was very friendly and welcoming. The security was also very friendly. I went to visit during their busiest seasons so the crowds makes it difficult to review any place fairly. I did feel that the prices here were very high. It makes it very difficult to make it affordable for others. I called a few days before my visit to book a reservation for a tour. I was on hold for ten minutes. No one ever came back to talk to me. They had beautiful journals in the back. The psychic rooms were extremely crowded and I felt the lack of privacy between different people gave it a hectic feeling, and it was filled with a lot of different energies. I felt like everyone was on top of each other. About 6-7 readings going on. It was like a crowded nail salon.
