Lemme tell ya, I went up to Crowley's Dive Bar in eastlake today to get a burger with my son and got their Mac Daddy. If anybody knows me, they know I am picky with how well someone does at something else I like (big Mac) and Crowley's NAILED IT !!! Fantastic Smash Burger, Mac Daddy with two all beef patty's special sauce lettuce cheese on a perfectly toasted bun. FANTASTIC BURGER and a MUST, to go have !!! HURRY, it's only on the menu for a limited time! Great service and great 80's dive bar atmosphere. Definitely will be returning! read more

This is a new place in Eastlake and even though it hasn't been open long, people are already talking about how good their burgers are. I went and tried and wasn't disappointed at all! The smashburger was savory and had this incredible burger sauce. The fries were super crisp and not soggy at all, so that was another win! They have lots of alcohol based choices, so this place would be lots of fun after work and at night. I just stopped by for lunch and the place was still packed. They have a lot of seating at the bar, plus long tables and booths. They do offer one small table that seats 4 people. I highly recommend going for the bar seating. All of the bartenders were very friendly and prompt with the service they offered. The place us a bit on the small side, but that just adds to the charm. It has a wonderful atmosphere. First time here before a Captains game. Found it on Yelp. Had high ratings and boy it did not disappoint!! I had the wings with goose sauce. ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!! Food was excellent. I got the chili hot dog and my wife got the smash burger. Our server got my order wrong, but it worked out great. Our server let me keep the smash burger I didn't order to go home. A free beer on top of the free smash burger more than made up for the small order mistake. Love the ambiance. Bar food plain and simple. Crowleys defines the smash burger. We've been to their Eastlake location and it's nothing fancy and not a lot of seating, but the burger is GREAT! first time here and the smashburger was everything they say it is - best burger I've had in a long time. Cant really comment on any other food items since the 8 of us all ordered the same thing and all loved it. But..... and this will keep a few of our party from going again - it was painfully loud (my smartwatch agreed!). There are speakers throughout in a small space as the music was beyond loud - it literally hurt and made conversation more than one person away impossible. We asked the waitress if they could turn it down and she was quick to say no, that they wouldn't do that - so its clear others have had similar feedback. My ears rang for hours - seriously, it is dangerously loud. I will go again - but with ear plugs and a smaller group. We had high expectations for the smash burger (and the government cheese!), but unfortunately, it was just okay for us. The meat didn't seem to be of high quality, and there was only a very thin layer of cheese on top (nothing like in the photo), much like when it is added too soon and most of it ends up melting off or into the meat (or enough wasn't added to begin with) . . . you could barely taste it, really. I could barely taste the onions or the burger sauce, either--only got a sampling of onion and a hint of yellow mustard in a few of the bites. The bun was nice, though--soft and pillowy. The fries were not good at all--they were soggy and very oily, and the oil tasted old as well, so we ended up tossing them after just a few bites. The woman who served us was efficient and friendly, and the place itself is nicely decorated, though quite small and a tad noisy if you wish to eat inside. We really had hoped to enjoy the food more, but for the price, will likely stick with Five Guys for their freshness and quality. read more

My first experience ordering a Smashburger. The food was very good. However, due to a priority of online orders, I along with four colleagues had to wait over 30 minutes to receive our dining in orders. The extended wait resulted in returning back to work a lot later than anticipated. Then my credit card was initially charged for another customer's order. If you have never been here, it is a very small neighborhood style bar. We went mid afternpps on a Monday in hopes of beating the rush, We did not beat the rush. We ended up sitting at the bar, which is not our ideal but doable. They were busy and it was noisier than what we like. The staff were very attentive and welcoming to everyone. As great as the staff was the food is the star. We ordered the smash burger and they did not disappoint. We have heard and read good things about them, nothing could have prepared us for how delicious they were. The burgers were juicy, piping hot and the best burgers we have had in, well I can't remember the last time. The fries, some of the best we have had in a while s well. We will definitely be back for more smash burgers and to try some of the other food. Probably will get the food to go though. read more

Service was alright- the food was decent- I'd say the soup was amazing, but the burger I had was basically their version of a Roman Burger, and I'd have to say Mr. Hero has more flavor in their food. Smashburger was good, my bun was kind of smashed though. I thought it was a little expensive though for just a burger, and fries aren't included. The burger reminded me a lot of Culver's, which I can get for about half the price a couple blocks away. Service was good, waitress was nice. read more
