I decided to get all tech savvy by programming a $20 Kasa WiFi outlet switch out front to have the lights come on automatically. Removal service was easy and done in January... which seemed to be a full month earlier than most of the other professionally lit houses in my neighborhood.

In January, we replaced our roof, and during the roofing process several transition wires were disturbed and simply needed to be re-tucked and serviced. Since then, I have made dozens of phone calls and multiple attempts to get support, but I still have not received a firm commitment on when someone will come out to address the issue. The lack of communication and follow-through has been frustrating and concerning. What worries me most is the apparent lack of local service and long-term support. I even contacted the manufacturer, Bosso, in an effort to get assistance, but there still does not seem to be anyone willing or able to step in and resolve the problem. This raises serious concerns about warranty support and future service if any larger issues arise. Before hiring any holiday lighting company, I strongly recommend asking detailed questions about who handles warranty work and ongoing service. Are they truly local? Who responds when repairs are needed? In my experience, The Holiday Light Guys of Florida do not appear to have reliable local support, and that has made a simple service issue drag on for months. While the original installation deserved high marks, the complete lack of post-installation support has overshadowed the positive experience. Based on the ongoing service issues and inability to get help when needed, I cannot recommend them and would give zero stars for customer support.
