This is the first time I've had to reduce a 5-star rating to a 1-star rating--and just a month apart. But what choice do I have? I'm just telling it as it is. The establishment ruined Diane's hooded reversible coat, turning soft cloth into a stiff material that crackles like cardboard. When I arrived to pick up and pay for the coat, the proprietor looked quite anxious and asked me what type of fabric the coat was made of. How should I know? He is the one holding himself out as a professional in the area of treating and cleaning clothes. Not I! Then, after getting the coat from a rack where it was hanging alone, he refused to take my check for dry cleaning costs. But, rather than admitting that he had ruined the coat, and offering to pay for a replacement, the owner of the business said he was extending me this courtesy as a New Year's present for being his longest standing customer. Hogwash! I've only been going to this cleaner for less than a year. And now I have to find a new one in this area! I had been using Crown Cleaners a lot when we first moved to Loma Linda 30+ years ago because it was right down the street and convenient. It was ok but a little pricey and slow. When I took a maternity dress in to be cleaned that had a blue and pink design on it, and it came out with no pink and just blue, I quit going there. No this was not a gender reveal dress! My experience has been consistent with the prior reviews. They are a bit pricey and closed on weekends. The clothes get cleaned with decent turnaround time. So I was willing to put up with the prices to support an immigrant mom and pop shop. I've been there four times. But my most recent experience with the customer service has steered my business elsewhere. The girl out front has absolutely no passion, compassion, or desire to be helpful. I'm pretty sure she hates her job. When I picked up my clothes, my kids noticed a dirty spot on one item. Instead of being apologetic, the girl seemed annoyed and took the item back to clean it. When she brought it back, she commented that my kids were rude! I bit my tongue and we left. Never to come back. read more

Wow!!! $21.50 for a woman's jumpsuit to be dry cleaned. I decided to try Crown Cleaners because they are close to my house and my other Dry Cleaner place went out of business. Also they are not open on weekends. My advice would be lower your prices just a little and you might get more business. Also clean your windows the store front was very dirty. read more

I say skip this place!! The seamstress cant read a tape measure or follow instructions & the owner passes off the poor work to the customer . I took 4 pairs of denims in and asked for a 26 1/2 finished inseam hem on all four. The owner waited until my debit card went through then informs me if there were a few pairs long, she added for shrinkage.. I asked for 26 1/2, what I got was 27, 27 1/4, 27 1/2 & 28". He told me to take them wash them a few times THEN bring them back to be fixed " free of charge" are you kidding? $40 bucks and they are all different sizes. Not one was correct. This is unprofessional. Go a few doors down to the small tailor shop! much better work. I wish I read this before I went. NO ON CROWN CLEANERS !!! read more

Brought 18 pieces to be dry cleaned and it was over $100. Not only are they overpriced, my clothes were still dirty. They look like they had been pressed (not well) and never cleaned. Their customer service was also not good. Rude. Took my business to Plaza Cleaners this time and the attitude was great and it was half the price. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!! If I could give it negative 283 stars, I would. I walked into this place 2 days ago as a first timer with 6 shirts because it's close to my job. This hoe tried to charge me $28 dollars for 6 shirts. Then she told me they wouldn't be ready for 1 week. I said "oh no baby, are you crazy? what is you talkin about?" This review is based on my first and last time here and is based on cost and quality. First off it's $4 for a dry cleaned shirt with light starch. I previously paid $1.25 for this at caprice cleaners in murrieta. Also, it's like a ghost town inside; no people, no movemet. Takes the guy about 3 minutes to come out and help you out. The shirts came back wrinkled and smelling funny-clean, not a nice clean. Also. I noticed a bunch of strings pulled out of my $100 nordstroms shirts which bummed me out the most. read more

Never, EVER, ever again. They RUINED my pants. I took my pants to them to be altered, and I specifically told them NOT TO REMOVE the decorative buttons, and that if they could not do this without removing the buttons THEN NOT TO DO ANYTHING and I would come pick up the pants. I got there, the pants were done with the buttons removed and since they are grommet snap buttons there were HOLES left in the place the buttons should have been. The child at the counter was all, "Duh, I don't know, I'm just filling in." These people are terrible and they cannot do/follow the SIMPLEST commands. I ABSOLUTELY do NOT recommend using this place for anything, EVER. I won't be back. read more

We've been going here awhile, mostly because it's right around the corner. Today was the last time. The owner plays fast and loose with the prices. Today he told me shirts were 4.50 to dry clean. 8 shirts should be 36.00, but bill came out to 38.00. When I called him on it, price went up to 4.75. AVOID THIS CLEANER!!! He destroys coats!! My wife took 5 winter coats in for regular cleaning. She got one back with yellow stains and physical damage and the others weren't even touched/cleaned. And he was going to charge her 70 bucks for all of them!! The store owner wouldn't take responsibility for the damage and threatened to call the cops on my wife when she refused to pay for the damaged goods. All he could offer as an explanation for the damage was that "he had 34 years experience and that he was about to retire." He was belligerent and yelled at my wife while she was in tears. She had to threaten him with going to small claims court just to get her coats back! Needless to say, this was the first and absolute last time we will ever go to this clown. read more

I can't even express how unhappy I am with the service I received here. One of the items I had cleaned was a very expensive dress that was a gift from my parents. When I picked it up, one of the straps was completely gone. I took it back and explained that I was very unhappy because I could never wear this dress again. I requested a refund and to be reimbursed for the dress. He eventually gave me a refund but refused to compensate me for my losses. He told me that he didn't care that it was expensive and that it wasn't his responsibility. I explained that it WAS his responsibility because I trusted my garments to be taken care of. Throughout the conversation when I was asking to be compensated he kept saying, "Go to court! Go to court! I don't care! I'm old! I retire tomorrow! Go to court!"
