I've been going here since about 2015 and I've always enjoys going skating with friends or just going to the arcade and lazer tag. The people that work there are nice. The food they serve there is good. I've never had problems with this place and it's a lot of fun if you have little ones or teens that want to go somewhere with friends. read more

Came here for the Horizons Charity dodgeball tournament and found the venue to be a perfect location for an indoor tournament! The courts were indoor turf, which worked well for dodgeball (although limited your ability to slide), the only downside was the slight curvature of the field so it was a little cramped on one side of the field. Otherwise, the microphone/music/set up, registration, food, etc. were all a breeze. If i lived locally I would love to come here more often! read more

Ok lol so the new owners made our roller skating experience so bizarre tonight. It's a Saturday night skate with older kids and adults and they played kids bop and Disney movie songs the entire night. I heard the same Alvin and chipmunks song three times. All of the food we ordered was cold. I got pretzels with cheese and it was ice cold refrigerator temp Lol. Even the employees got so many complaints about the music being extremely bizarre for a Saturday skate night. We don't want to listen to kids bop on a Saturday night at 9 pm. 40 dollars and an 1 and half drive to have our 16 and 14 year old miserable. 6 dollars for a few little ice cold pretzel bites is laughable. And my bushing needed replaced on my skate but there's no little skate store open anymore. Please play music teenagers want to skate to. The employees themselves were begging people to put in reviews to help fix it because everyone that paid to skate was freaking miserable. read more

Tonight we went to Crown Sports Center in Fruitland, Maryland. I have never been so dissatisfied with a venue in my life. I have an almost 3 year old, Hannah who enjoys some games at the arcade. That was our first destination. Out of the 40 games there, maybe 20 worked, and of those that didn't maybe 5 had signs on them that said "Out of Order". I spent most of my time waiting for a compensation of my lost tokens. No one was at the counter, the teenage kids were usually in the laser tag room or nowhere to be found. It was wonderful having to wait 5-10 minutes at a time (NOT!). I decided that I would get the manager whose name was Michelle. Michelle offered no apology just excuses, stating well we are busy. Some of the machines just ran out of tickets. We have parties on the other side. I can give you more tokens. I asked Michelle if Crown was going out of business because there were maybe 12 people in the arcade (including laser tag) and 3 people of staff. She said no it's just a busy night? I wonder if it's busier during the day and maybe that's the reason they cannot properly put signs on machines or fix them. We decided to head to the other side of Crown at the Skate Center. There we paid to get in, $28.50 (though I'm not sure because they never gave me a receipt). We go in and go to get our skates, no one is at the counter. Finally, someone comes and she gives us our skates. Like I said, I have an almost 3 year old who has never skated in her life, and we saw a bunch of these "PVC pipe skate aides" that children had. While waiting for someone again, a mother came up to me and told me the manager had been talking about me and how I was crazy. I disregarded and when the clerk came back I asked if we could have one of the skate aides. They said we are all sold out. I said nice, well I would like a refund because Hannah cannot skate without one. Michelle came out and refused, but offered me coupons. I told her this is a dangerous area for someone so young, and she needs an aide. And if you have 300 people skating or in the skate area there should be MORE THAN TWO people on staff to assist. There were more people come to find out but they were on their phones too busy to assist everyone. Needless to say it was a night of almost $70 wasted, and I have never seen such an incompetent staff in my life. I was also given the manager information, Pam but Michelle would not tell me her last name? Solutions: - FIX YOUR ARCADE GAMES. - IF A MACHINE IS OUT OF ORDER POST A SIGN. - STAFF NEEDS BETTER MANAGEMENT. - IF THERE'S A LOT OF PARTIES HAVE MORE STAFF. - TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER. - IF SOMEONE HAS NOT BEEN TO THE CENTER, LET THEM KNOW WHERE TO GET THEIR SKATES. - IF SOMEONE HAS A SMALL CHILD LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE ALL OUT OF AIDES. read more

The supervisor is CONSTANTLY VAPING in his office. I was SEXUALLY HARASSED every shift I had with a coworker here even when I made it perfectly clear I was NOT INTERESTED in his advances. This same coworker is also the nephew of the supervisor who vapes in his office. I was asked as a former employee by a customer to tie her son's shoes after I put him into a harness for rock climbing, and she got very upset and complained to my supervisor and got me fired. This company is CORRUPT; everything they display is cheap material you can get for a dollar at the dollar store. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. read more

DO NOT SEND your child to their summer camp! They will charge you $35 per week cancellation fee even if it's their fault you are leaving!! My son was at private pre-k 3 & 4yrs classes @ wicomico day school last 2 years & we loved it, he was generally well behaved in class, although def a "busy" kid. We wanted to try crown because we loved all the field trips listed now that he's 5. 3 weeks in & there's been nothing but horrible communication, lack of coordination & very unorganized. Not to mention unprofessional! The camp director there in particular was very callous & talked down to us, never really listened to anything I was saying or suggestions I would make regarding my son. I once received feedback he had an issue on a field trip an entire week after it occurred- how do you discipline a 5 year old for something a whole week after it occurred! It was very clear we went from professionals at WDS to a bunch of very young untrained "councilors". To be fair- I did like some of their councilors, my son connected to a few- but they definitely lacked the kind of experience & skills I would expect in people taking care of so many young children. I might have even given it more time if I felt the camp director actually cared but her attitude from day one has been very poor. Also.... Several times my son would tell me about being hit or pushed & I would ask what the councilors did & he would tell me nothing. I would ask where they were he would say "I don't know" & then "they didn't see it". I know you can't be perfect watching all these kids but that seemed to be a pervasive element, not just a one off thing....as I know other parents reporting similar situations so I think bullying is an issue too. I could go on & on we had so many situations there (in only 3 weeks!). But I think this is enough info to help parents out there get a picture of the poor quality of this program & facility. The Rink is nice, as is the other sports arenas, and they were pleasant to my 5-year old daughter. However the staff today was nonchalant about my troubles, most of the games are broken with signs on them, there was no soap or toilet paper in the bathroom, the play area was off-limits, and more. I was thoroughly displeased. The 'no refunds' sign is on the inside of the door after you have paid and went in. There are signs saying to tweet a username that is supposed to DJ some musi per request; however, no one responds to this. Not sure what the problem there is, but for the price of admission, and having so much closed off, is really a problem. read more

Really nice facilities. Really poorly managed. Didn't have full season schedule until 2+ weeks into the season, refs show up late (to first game of the day). Games started one week later than originally announced. Fields aren't set up on time. Got corner flags in this morning about ten-fifteen minutes after game started. Grass is in great shape, nice indoor facilities. Can't seem to staff for busy times. Nice concessions for soccer. read more
