I have visited this location several times over the years. I used to frequent Crown more than other liquor stores but then noticed the prices were more reasonable at other stores. My most recent visit here was while we were waiting to pick up food next door. We had no intention of purchasing anything but of course that was not the case in the end lol. It was a Saturday night so the store had steadily traffic while we were there. I want to say this store is larger than some other locations I have visited. Crown is very much like ABC stores. They carry beer, wine, and liquor. There is also a small refrigerator with some packaged meats and cheeses to make a charcuterie board. The wine and beer selection is pretty slim though so if you are looking for something unique, you may not find it here. During my recent visit, we were provided samples of liquors when we were at the register. I cannot remember being provided samples previously so this was fun. Most of the time we purchase items we are able to sample and of course this time was no different lol. We purchased a Michael Jordan tequila that was over $100 and I still have not opened at home. It was actually pretty good and this review has motivated me to pop open that bottle and enjoy it. The staff have been good and most times offer assistance. read more

If your not picky about your alcohol you will find what you need. However, I was in search of two particular bottles of wine and they had neither. The location is directly off the road in a strip. Signage is there, but if you've never been be prepared. Parking seemed adequate and lot clean. I first called the store to save myself a trip. On a Friday afternoon they apparently were too busy to answer my question on my search for two bottles of red that I knew Total Wine would have. The clerk asked me to call back. In lieu of driving almost 10 miles in South Florida rush I went to Crown a few miles from my hotel. Once I entered I immediately saw a line to the rear and understood why my call was challenged. At the same time a computer is quick if they know how to operate and inventory is loaded. So I'm not giving a pass. I asked a clerk on the floor for help. Without looking at a computer he looked around, not seeming to know either one of my selections. He quickly gave up. I saw two clerks at the cash register and a floor staff. The small store is stocked well with spirits and wine, maybe some beer I did not see it. The niche to this store is a cheese/meat case that looked impressive. The limited harder to find items appears to be at issue. Only so much inventory can fit...I get it. I also noticed a particular bottle of wine was $2 more than my regular place. The customer service was lacking in my opinion. I would not return to Crown and head to Total Wine if time was no object. 3.5, rounding down. read more

This place may be smaller than some of the other larger wine stores but, the people here are friendly, and they are extremely knowledgeable about adult beverages! This location didn't have the Brazilian beer Xingu that I have been searching for, but the manager told me that they would order it, and that it would be in by the following week. I was elated as the last place I asked about the beer was only apologetic and answered that they used to carry it, but no longer did. They have wine, cheese and meats here, and if you would like to make a specialty basket you can purchase one or put it together yourself. Just remember to tell the receiver that it is full of perishables. read more

I don't frequent many liquor stores, usually people give me liquor as gifts, or I stick to wines from Publix, however I was in need of a wine gift basket as a Christmas gift and Crown popped in to my head. Crown Wine and Spirits stores are great because they not only carry alcohol, but cheeses, meats and the like. My hunch was correct and they had many wine gift baskets already packaged and ready to go. Most of the ready made baskets were pre-packaged goods that wouldn't go bad. I was looking for something with cheese, so I opted to create my own after talking to someone at the gift basket window. I explained what exactly I was looking for and my price range, and we went around the store together selecting wines, cheeses, meats, crackers, spreads and olives - I only wish someone had been getting this basket for me!! After paying (we actually came in slightly below my budget) and selecting an actual basket to fit all of the goodies in, Cindy got down to wrapping and perfecting the look of the basket. I couldn't be more thrilled with the end result! Hopefully the person receiving will love it too! read more

You're here to buy booze not fine dine, it serves its purpose with no extra BS, the area is super chill with some anomalies here and there. It had the Rosé that I like and keeps it in the fridge. The stuff they have is great and the conveniences makes up for the very slight extra in price which if you are buying liquor you shouldn't be budgeting anyway, you're celebrating. read more

The staff at this location are not wine connoisseurs, they are not experienced to be working at a wine store. I took back a Caymus bottle that was corked which was very obvious just by smelling it, this staff member smelled it and said 'smells like Caymus', and he said couldn't taste it because he 'was working'...well, next time you can taste it and spit it out like any person can do if they don't want to swallow it, he was rude and walked away out of his ignorance. They didn't know what a corked wine is, it was a hassle to return a bad bottle also because they didn't want to take a return that was purchased in another location. read more

This too is my neighborhood liquor store, and unlike a majority of other Crown's I have visited, this store is one of the smaller ones around. The staff is exceptionally great. They really know their stuff when it comes to the products they carry in the store. Their beer selection isn't as vast as some of the other Crowns or other giants in the business around. But they keep the fridge area stock with some nice selections; well named manufactured beers and a nice selection of craft beers, that keep my palate alive and kicking. The wine selection at this location is impeccable, and if they don't have what you are looking for they are able to order it for you, and/or substitute it with something similar or better. Also their sections of spirits, apertifs, and digestifs are pretty well stocked as well. I am quite happy with their selection of Scotches. They also have a little deli counter that sells a variety of cheeses and a few meats. Which is great to pick up for a little dinner party or just for yourself while you enjoy a great glass of wine. This location is also the only one that I know of that has their own little cigar room, where you can walk in and select your choice of cigar(s). Granted it is small, but they have a nice selection. This location also, like many of the rest, carry a lot of miscellaneous items which you can pick up for parties, dinners or yourself. Items such as cooking sauces, pastas, oils, dips, chocolates, garnishes for drinks, crackers, bottled and canned deli items, as well as glassware and other knickknacks to make your party or whatever a success. read more

This is my neighborhood liquor store. Small store. Great products. Amazing staff! They carry a good selection of wines. A good selection of fortified wines. And a wide range of bubbly white and rose wines. Their beer selection is not huge, but good for me. For being such a small place, they carry a great selection of spirits, aperitifs and digestifs. They also sell boxed, bottled and canned deli stuff like spreads, crackers, jellies and dips. They also have a small deli case with cheese and cured meats. Stopped in here to pick up some spirits for our cruise leaving the next day. The selection was unbelievable. It was a warehouse full of wine, beer and liquor. If they don't carry it, I don't know who would. Prices seemed very competitive and the personnel were very knowledgeable. My rating is strictly related to price. I guess I got lured in to this store with a 20$ rebate coupon on 100$ wine purchase. WELL, I purchased 8 bottles of sauvignon blanc ''oyster bay'' New Zealand. It was marked at 13.99$, the register wanted 14.99$, had to get manager to respect the posted price. So my bottom line was 11.49$ per bottle. GUESS WHAT, total wine's regular price is 9.97$ per botlle - I got taken for 12.24$ before tax. When the new 14,99$ is posted, you're paying 50.35% more than at Total Wine. CSW is forever barred from my shopping list. read more
