If Crowne Plazas were like this one in USA, I would stay at them more often. Nice property in a quiet setting. Yet walkable to Marlow. Little known path along the Thames can be taken all the way to town. The Glaze is wide open restaurant, bar, and observatory combination with a view of a garden and lake. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. Sleep quality above average. However, we would have preferred better pillows. read more

So this good quality hotel is tucked away behind an industrial estate. Once you get beyond that and find it you should not be disappointed. The bedrooms are well presented and have all the amenities you want TV, wifi (which needs a speed boost!!) free water, tea CofE making facilities, dressing gown and so the list goes on. The bed was very comfortable and d cent pillows, they even give you a homeopathic spray for the pillows to help you sleep!! I didn't try it but colleagues who did said they felt it work. The bar is very spacious with lots of seating available. The first night we visited the bar a large chunk of it had been hired out which didn't really affect us as there was still plenty of space. I can't comment on the food, aside from a very good burger from the bar, as I never visited the resturant not even for breakfast ;( Anyway I'm told there is a good view from the rear of the hotel where the Thames idles by but I could not confirm or deny this as it was always dark when I got to the hotel. You most certainly get what you pay for and you do pay a lot. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, even allowing us to order drinks and burgers without a credit card attached to the room.. read more

The hotel is down a long lane so not near any shops or the town centre. The rooms are adequate but wifi costs an additional fee which is over £10 (can't remember exactly!) Room service and restaurants are both very good and accommodating however I feel over the past year the quality and standard on the rooms and amenities have gone down. There is no longer sleep kits or conditioner in the rooms--I know it may seem silly but as I travel for business I carry on and didn't bring such good because in the past they've been in the room and then arrived to find they were no longer there and there are no stores within walking distance. On one occasion my sheets and towels were both stained and rubbish was actually in the sheets! When I noted this to the management they apologised and assured me I'd be upgraded and there'd be an apology gift in my room at my next stay. Honestly if they hadn't have said anything I wouldn't have cared but my upgrade was only partial---I had a club room but no access to the club room and there was no gift in my room. If they hadn't had promised I wouldn't have cared. read more

This is a good business hotel. The room rates are pricey - if it was not a business expense, not sure I would stay here - room does not include internet but I think it should since it is a business hotel. Rooms are comfortable - thank goodness for the gym. The hotel itself is not near anything so if you forgot something and need to buy it, you can't. I would suggest the hotel having a small store of some sort to purchase incidentals. I would still prefer staying here when in Marlow then some of the other smaller hotels. read more

I was invited to this hotel 2 years ago to collect a glass trophy i won for being coming 1st in a internet Michael Schumacher essay. and it had lovely food and champagne there with wonderful decor. and it was very plush furniture and carpets with heavy satin curtains to match the xminister carpets, the cutery was clean to good high standards. very 1st class rated. read more

The Crowne Plaza, Marlow provides a relaxing yet modern setting within the hotel, the rooms are modest in size however have enormous beds, spacious clean en-suite bathrooms, and large screen TVs. The restaurant serves reasonable quality food in a lovely large conservatory overlooking a lake. There is also a trendy bar, and reasonable sized gym with swimming pool. If you can get a decent rate, I can recommend a visit. read more
