First thing I want to do is show the character of his installers. Our family helped tear up all the carpet and pads up and put them on a trailer. He found the leak and decided to try to patch it. When the patch didn't hold, he came back out and cut out and replaced the pipe. This ended up just moving the leak point because the pipe glue did not set properly. He offered to come out to fix it again using another patch solution, but I just patched it myself because I needed to use the bathroom. He only charged me for materials for the second time out and was only going to charge for gas for the 3rd visit. Even though his work didn't end up holding either time, he stood by his work and continued to try to make things right. Talking to another plumber, both repairs were tough repairs based on leak location.
