The tour overall was super fun and educational regarding the different historical landmarks within Austin. The ending at the Littlefield house was super interesting because it tied into the Bell Tower incident and how those two individuals though decades and decades apart had similar visions within their stories. Highly recommend Matthew with his Scooby-Doo mystery van vibes and his awesome Halloween playlist. We are so excited that we got a chance to do this for my sister's bachelorette party. And also great suggestions given by Matthew regarding speakeasy bars and pubs around the area that you would never have thought were there.

Caves are so interesting and there is so much to learn about them . Longhorn Cavern offer 3 different tour options. The cavern walking tour is just like a casual walking tour. The black light tour is where you wear hard hats and walk with a light. The Wild Cave tour is for the extreme explorers who are okay with tight spaces . I chose the cavern walking tour. I highly recommend shoes that have a tight grip. The gift shop has really good options for keepsakes. Also, if you get thirst drinks are available to purchase. I saw a section for pizza, but it was sold out. I had amazing time during my visit. The cave is beautiful and there is so much to see.

I did a wild cave tour without the extra charges that Longhorn collects. At Longhorn, our guide, Johnson did an amazing job with our small group of six people for the 10:45 AM tour. My brother and I initially registered for the 11:00 AM tour and am glad that we were suggested another time. We passed by the 11:00 AM tour and they had 40+ people in their group. Johnson showed us cool geological formations. We saw dolomite, calcium bicarbonate, chert, limestone, geodes, stalagmites, stalactites, and quartz crystals. Johnson is somewhat funny; he had a bit of quirky and dry humor. I enjoyed the history of the caverns, but some of it I thought was interesting. It was really delightful to learn that in the 1800's, before the CCC got involved, the locals would dance and play music turning the cave into an auditorium of entertainment. Johnson said that if certain geological formations glows, it is growing. Very catchy phase for memory. I got to see a few bats hanging out. They were tricolor bats which are smallest bats. The cave is cool, but thankfully not slippery. I was wearing no grip support shoes, but I didn't fall or have the urge to fall. There are mats on the floor of the cave to prevent falls. Johnson gave us more time to look around and admire the geology. My brother and I weren't required to bring our own flashlights. Johnson had a flashlight, but forgot to grab the blacklights. What I find is strange is that this is a state park that you cannot renew your state park pass at. This park headquarters is very different than the rest considering that there's a third party company handing the cave tours, they sell ice-cees, popcorn, and the gift shop is very big and vast. The others don't have this. It is questionable to me. I was told that I needed to go to Inks Lake to renew my pass. The cave tours are very pricey. Kickapoo Caverns tour was very affordable at $10. You can use the park pass. You can't get your state park passport stamped at Longhorn Caverns either. It seems like Longhorn Caverns is more for profit and the history about the cavern could be overly exaggerated to attract customers. My opinion. It was hard to believe half of the things what Johnson was telling us. There's one portion of geological formation in the cave that is "dead" because in year 1919, the locals went exploring by touching the formation it "killed" it. I preferred Kickapoo Caverns and the Caverns of Sonora a lot more. Even Inner Space Caverns and Natural Bridge were very exciting to see. Longhorn is cool, but didn't give me that WOW-factor, but I still had a ton of fun on a Sunday morning.

Many promises were made during the interview, most delivered with attitude and only after demanding them. Issues: 1. She's very nice and proactive when it comes to charge you for everything in advance, once you submit your payment you will barely hear from her and Natalie acts as she's being bothered every time you contact her. 2. My fiancé's best man emailed and called her way in advance and she never responded. Forcing him to make his own reservations. 3. When I asked her about our website and distributing this to our guests, she told me that I had to send it to all my guests. I then questioned her asking if that wasn't her job since she's the one getting paid for this and she had the nerve to call me "rude" when all I was asking her is to do her job and make money off my guests and myself. 4. On repeated occasions she told me that "I wasn't her only client", and you will receive this treatment from Natalie when you demand her to stick with what she promises. I truly believe being a TA is no longer her passion, you can tell she's no longer good at it. 5. I have had at least 5 families in my wedding party reporting that Natalie was rude to them when they asked questions and she was impatient with them. They had to make their own accommodations because of this without using Natalie, which let me to not have the minimum required number of guests (due to Natalie's incompetence and lack of empathy), the hotel was willing to work with me, after noticing how unhappy I was with Natalie as my travel agent. 6. Even my wedding coordinator noticed Natalie's lack of attention and coordination as her emails are disorganized. She forgets what information she was given and then asks you to find the information for her. Again, I ended up doing majority of her tasks. 7. She will promise an app to be delivered 2 weeks before departure. She breached her own contract and posted this app 2 days before departure with MANY mistakes that I had to point out for her to fix. 8. I tried to break the contract with her on a couple of occasions and after consulting with the hotel in the DR, I was going to punish my guests in order to get rid of Natalie, which in good faith, it's the only reason that prevented me from doing so. 9. I guarantee that you will have to triple check EVERYTHING that Natalie does because in every single task, there were mistakes. Wrong itineraries, wrong names, wrong dates, you name it. The purpose of this review is to avoid more people to go through what I went through. I wish I would have never gone under contract with TravelAbundance or with Natalie, don't make the same mistake I made! Go somewhere else.

We never complained, in Berlin, the transfer was a hour late , in Prague, the driver couldn't find us for an hour, then it was a dirty , best up , rusted out van, dropped us off , three blocks from hotel. In Vienna , the dinner cruise , was not running at that time of year . We never said a word , because frankly , things happen , we had a great time , everything was great So here is our story, Natalie deserves , everything positive, wonderful review. It's all true . I would encourage people to book with her . She gives an amazing service . Except, we were told by the agent to book our airfare , ok, her first complaint, which we found the hotel we wanted in Zurich, all she had to do was give us the prices of the two different rooms , which we booked . Then to get to another destination, by air, there was a a different airfare that came through our credit card then what was Austen , a substantial difference, when, we questioned , and cancelled, we were told by the agent to book the rest of the trip on our own, we were almost through anyway . I did contact Natalie , as a business, we were basically told it was a an upscale travel agent , there platform was different now . Which meant we don't question price . Natalie did get us the airplane , but sadly , she wouldn't finish our train or transfers . I gave Natalie the train, it didn't show up on her search engine, I thought take a different train , route, was told to book it on our own, the next day , I did send her a picture, on her search engine there it was . Ended up , i found a better train , no. Stop to Zurich on my own and booked it, I booked my transfers . We are just not the type of people , who nust book, without seeing prices . Our mistake , her services are now for people who g Have no budget constraints. We had planned an Italy and Portugal, trip . Will seek a travel agent here . It was very hurtful, I love Natalie , but we are just not her type of client. Which is disappointing, because she does have a great platform. What is upsetting, the agent , who dropped us cold , because we questioned room prices and the air discrepancy . We spent a lot of money , on last October , we never made a complaint or fussed over the mistakes. Our attitude , things happen . So we are saddened. It's not as if the agent had to search for a hotel, all she had to do was check the prices of two different rooms . She told us to make our own airplane reservations, we did , the airplane price difference from what was quoted , was to much of a difference. Would I still encourage people to book with them , yes , it's just people like us , who shouldn't , we are not in this same league. I will say , the app is wonderful, she plans great trips .. We used a company called Fetii and paid for 3 shuttles and unfortunately, only 2 showed up and we ended up losing time on the lake and that didn't make us happy. We also got to the Lake and some of the other business owners that had their own tours screwed us out of time as well because we couldn't dock for almost 30 minutes. Captains for each boat were nice, but the only thing that we didn't like was they put us in an area by ourselves and we didn't link up with other boats. The Giraffe barn is attached to one side of the house, and their pasture is on the other side. It is the most fabulous "Barndominium" with incredible finishes and clearly thoughtfully designed. That experience alone was mind-blowing.... however we also had the Gold Packages and were able to experience everything the ranch had to offer! Zebras, Capybaras, Kangaroos, Otters, Deer, Homer the Dromedary!!! Everywhere you turned there were more animals and more experiences offered. My children and I were in absolute animal heaven and will be thrilled to return. I will say, our vacation was expensive and it did not disappoint. However, I do believe you can absolutely visit this ranch on a budget.... Probably one of the best experiences was their ranch safari and that is a nominal price and totally worth it! You can see the entire property and all of the animals on the safari trip. Additionally they have fantastic cabins that are themed, and if you have children under the age of 10, the pirate themed cabins are beyond your wildest imagination.... as far as I am aware all of the sleeping accommodations include kitchens so you can absolutely cook for your family instead of paying for the delicious ranch food. That said... Chef Alan is phenomenal and out of this world excellent chef. Each meal was made with love and artistry. The staff at Blue Hills Ranch all go above and beyond to create lasting memories for you. I absolutely recommend this experience as a NOT TO BE MISSED event! We are already planning a return in October/November depending on availability . Cannot wait.
