I called him for a reminder 3 days before the event and he told he had our church event on his schedule. I messaged him and called him several times but he didn't have the courtesy to call me back and let me know he wasn't going to show up. Never hiring him for any magic show and wont recommend him either.

I went on a Saturday with my family which included two toddlers. It did get pretty packed, so getting there earlier the better, or just coming on a weekday if you don't want to deal with long lines or overcrowding. The Apple Cider and Apple Cider Donuts were delicious! I honestly wanted to come back here just to buy some more. They have plenty of other drink and snack options, too. The staff was pretty nice too. There's many things to do like a swing ride, petting zoo, and hayride -- all very fun. I will say, $40 per person is pretty steep for a pumpkin patch. While I had a good time, I kinda had to force myself to do everything to feel like it was worth that much money. Overall, I'd go back, though.

We have visited twice and some of the exhibits that my girls enjoy are the imagination (arts and craft) studio, dinosaur and fossils, around the world, and fire station. During our most recent visit, we noticed there is an outdoor playground with plenty of slides, musical equipment, and climbing apparatus. We did not notice it a few months ago when we first visited so we are uncertain if this is a new addition. It is neat because there are a few picnic tables with shades and parts of the playground is covered. Since this is a fairly new addition, I am uncertain how often they will change up the exhibits. But we look forward to revisiting and exploring more of the area.

This race is smaller than some of the others I've been in- busier streets are not blocked off, but instead traffic is stopped for the runners by police. This is not a chip-timed race, but there are mile markers with volunteers standing to call out the time to you. After the race, they have water, bagels, and fruit. The location at the school allowed for a lot of fun items to be set up for the kids- music, raffles, games, etc, which kept my nieces entertained while they waited! The sponsors donate gift cards, which was a fun incentive to stick around too. Money goes to support a scholarship fund. All around great time, will run this again!

I am a huge fan of cheap fun, and with no entry fee, it went pretty far here. The small fair was held at the raceway, so this was not a huge statewide sized event. Overall the prices were fairly good. Funnel cakes were 3.50 and so were beers so there is absolutely no room to complain. The rides were a little pricey at 1$ per ticket if you didn't but they sheet of them, but my son loved the little train too much to pass it up. The big highlight for us though were the animals. There were cows, sheep, pigs, goats, horses, chickens, bunnies and pigeons for judging and my son was in heaven. I swear some of those cows were cared for more than I am. In my whole life I have never seen cows so big either. They were in open stalls too so my boy could pet them, though I'm not sure if he was actually supposed to. There were also pony rides, some of the best people watching I have ever had in my life, tractors, a box with bunnies you could pick up, oh and a cage full of bears. Yup, real live black bears for your viewing pleasure. The animal lover in me was a little appalled, the rest of me loved it, but not enough to pay 4$ for a picture with one. This was no luncheon at the Ritz, nor was it an evening at the opera, but it was totally awesome and I can't wait to go again next year!
