I was surprised that a shop that sells cookies was not busy on a Saturday. No customers in the store and no one came in during my short wait. The associate was nice as he handed me the brownie cookie. I decided to take a bite on my way home, and was surprised to see grease under the entire cookie. The edges were very dry, and the flavor was like when a birthday candle drips on your cake. No chocolate flavor, and definitely did not taste like a brownie cookie. Very disappointing. Update: thank you for your reply but it's not that I just didn't like the flavor. As I stated in my review, there was grease on the bottom of the box, the edges were dry and crumbly, and the flavor tasted like wax. To me this is either an old mix or low quality ingredients. I have had your cookies before and liked them, but the last few times at this location were not good. I think from the lack of customers my opinion is shared. I love their cookies and usually order through DoorDash. I've been to this location a couple of times and it's a hit or miss. It's usually packed with people so I run back to my car after placing the order. Other times there's only 5-6 of us waiting in line so it's not that bad. The self checkout kiosks are convenient and work fine. The space itself is far too small for the amount of ppl coming in. The employees are nice and helpful. read more

If you're a cookie lover, this place won't disappoint. For me having a different flavors every week just fuels a crumbl addiction. You feel the need to try all the new and different flavors or your going to miss out. A lot of the cookies are too sweet for me, but you still have to eat them. A bit pricey at $5 a cookie. They are pretty big though. You need to give them a try. read more

I am fairly new to Crumbl. I have had it presented to me a few times but only began going myself when the Dover location opened. I of course, was drawn in by their rotating menu and became a regular customer despite regular hiccups at this location. I will be the first to admit that I prefer a fully baked cookie over the undercooked center favored by the Crumbl team. However, I am willing to deal with that to try new and exciting sounding flavors. I have tried the confetti cake, raspberry danish, semi-sweet chocolate, caramel praline, Oreo cookies and cream milkshake, galaxy brownie, cinnamon cake, strawberry danish, French toast, sea salt toffee, pink sugar, wedding cake, pistachio gelato, peach cobbler, sugar ft animal cracker, skillet, and pink donut. Typically, in every four pack I get from this location, one cookie is undercooked, even by crumbl's standards. I have become an expert in finishing these cookies off without melting the topping or compromising the icing. However, during my most recent order, every cookie was severely undercooked and significant parts of the cookies were raw. One cookie was so raw, it was impossible to pick it up as it could not hold its shape. I of course, reached out to customer service to make them aware of this health and safety issue. Corporate was of course apologetic and made it clear they understood my cookies were not properly prepared. However, when I reached out to the Dover store's customer service, I received a snarky email from the owners claiming the cookies were baked for an appropriate amount of time despite the photos of raw cookies I sent and an excuse that crumbl is known for "very soft cookies". Frankly, I was appalled that this was their response to a clear health and safety issue. These cookies were not a little soft or slightly underbaked, but dangerously raw and I find that kind of response alarming. Needless to say I have not been brave enough to return. read more

Service is HORRIBLE at this location. In multiple visits, have never been greeted. Even with placing my order via app, still waited 15-20 minutes for orders which have only been 2-3 cookies at a time. Cookies are usually undercooked-thought that was normal until I got to visit another location. Definitely too small of a space for the amount of people usually in there waiting. Overrated in my opinion yet we keep trying! read more

Terrible service. I walk in the door, everyone in the back does not want to acknowledge me at the front for 10 minutes. I'm picking up an order at 4:50 then I'm waiting for 1 cake for 20 min (trying to be patient) while the employees in the back giggling and making jokes as if there isn't a line forming and people are now waiting with me for 1 cake. Service is a HORRIBLE nightmare. I love the cookies but dread going to that locations because of the way the employees act. you will not feel welcome one bit its very slow service. just an awful customer service experience all the way around. I only go if I REALLY want the cookies. I was going to go this weekend and changed my mind because it's valentines weekend so I'm sure they are extra nasty acting and slower than they already are. please hire people that want to be there!!! First things first, the cookies are great. Then there's the experience -- this location was a DISASTER. Context: I travel for work and have visited Crumbl in 25-ish American states. Shhh, don't tell my doctor. Some locations do not take your order in-person, a poor choice, but it is what it is. The self ordering kiosks at this location were a major problem: Tap-to-pay? Not functional. Card swipe? Not functional. Cash? No cashier. Gift card? Not allowed because of too much "fraudulent activity" by the locals. Yikes. The only way to pay was by manually typing in your credit card credentials, while surrounded by strangers. And a ton of strangers were packed in there. It felt like a Tokyo subway car during rush hour. There really was no way to safely or conveniently pay here... Then there's the order pick up queue. Calling it a queue is a stretch. I ordered a single cookie and waited 45 minutes to get it. My name reached the top of the queue, multiple times, then suddenly reversed 3-5 spots (frustrating). After witnessing this fiasco for far too long, I calmly expressed my disappointment to an employee. Thankfully they understood and immediately fulfilled the order. Never have I waited more than 10 minutes for a Crumbl cookie, including at busier spots. This location could be a good one, but needs serious help from the corporate overlords. Delaware clearly has a massive craving for tasty cookies, but this Crumbl was very poorly operated/managed. Wishing them the best, but don't count on me returning next time in town. read more

Cookies are good- when you can order them! The app on the other hand was easy to use, just POINTLESS. after placing a pickup order (regardless if you schedule pick up hours in advance) the cookies you paid for are being sold to walk in customers, as your waiting for 48min just for them to be sold out by time you get your order. Also, the Dover, DE Curmbl is by far the dirtiest crumbl I've been to. I am aware of the traffic this location gets and how busy they are, aswell as how new this location is.. but it would be smart to have someone cleaning as everyone else is busy baking/taking orders since you have an open kitchen that all of your customers can see. read more

This was the banna bread......uncooked batter in the center...I purchased a box of 4 as a gift for one of my business partners.....Lauren the manager offered to give me $5.18 for my troubles. I was appalled . I asked for her boss she told me to send an email. She said if it was undercooked she is sorry.....look at the picture. The professionalism was horrible accountability was not there....she should have replaced the box so I could give my business partners a great experience as she has never had the cookies before and I drove 40 minutes one way to bring them. read more

I went for the first time 8/30/2024 and the cookies were amazing and customer service was friendly and very helpful and fast .. unfortunately I went to and the cookies weren't that good and customer service was very unpleasant the cashier kept rolling her eyes and sucking her teeth and was kinda rude and they were very very slow and unwelcoming...I guess it all depends on who is working if you want amazing cookies and great customer service read more

The cookies always look so good, if they are ever available.. Even if you order ahead of time and pay, you can/will be told they can't fulfill your order when you arrive. They do not offer compensation for your time & gas, they simply offer for you to swap out the cookie you wanted for one of the ones available. This concept needs to be improved. It would be great communication for the customer to know before leaving their home. We have given multiple opportunities to improve. My husband recently waited an hour in the store to be told multiple cookies were no longer available and they didn't have any cookie cutters either. He walked out an hour later with no cookies and a full refund. I've been to many different locations and have never experienced this. Thank goodness Insomnia Cookies is opening up down the road soon. read more

ordered one cookie of each on Thursday for pickup on Saturday so that they would have the cookies. I paid the the cookies on Thursday but when I went to pick them up they did not have the varity that I paid for. I think that if you have already paid for the cookies they should save them for you. I will not be going back and I will be telling this to everyone that I know. read more
