Close up for the Buddy with carmelized onions, mushrooms and gravy
    Rosa W.

We went here for lunch and it was a good experience. When we went in we where greated by the nice lady who rung us up. She provided us the menu and said everything was good. My husband ordered the "Buddy" cheese steak (large) for $9.75 and I ordered the cheese steak sub (small) in chicken for $7.75. We also got 2 small waters, a bag of chips and a complementary slice of cake since it was our first time here all for $20.56. The Buddy was huge and loaded with cheese, mushrooms, and a rich gravy all through it. My husband also added carmelized onions on it, but he was only able to eat half because it was so large so there was a lot left for me to pick at. It was rich, meaty and had great seasoning. The cheese steak sub came with lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise. The mayo created a moist sandwich but the gravy in the "Buddy" was so much better. The slice of cake we chose was the orange cake. It had a beautiful fluffy frosting and tasted like orangesickle. Very good and large enough to share. We can't wait to go back and try all of their other sandwiches. This place is a hidden gem.

My wife showed me this small little place!! It was a bit Odd ordering from a window, but we love odd! Service was super friendly and quick! I can honestly say this is one of the top cheesesteaks I've ever had. I was absolutely blown away by it! This is absolutely a place I'd love to come back to!

My job was kind enough to cater lunch for us from Main Street Market. For $10 they provided a delicious and filling mini sandwich on a 6 inch roll, chips, and a homemade brownie. The sandwich was filled with the standard Italian Cold Cut Sub fixings, and I can only imagine that it would have been better had i been able to customize my meal. No need whatsoever to customize the brownie, as it was perfection. I live no where near Smyrna, but have friends in the area. Now I just need to invite myself over and offer to pick up a meal on my way. I hope they like brownies!

The sandwiches that we ordered were amazing. Friendly service and we also received a free dessert for being first time customers.

Kicking cheesesteaks. Friendly service. Not much ambiance as they keep you on the street. . Worth the trip to downtown Smyrna.

Their Cheese steak remind me of the Philly cheese steaks I use to get when I lived in Philadelphia most of my life.

Place makes really great cheesesteaks. Only issue I have is having to wait outside or park on the street that has limited parking.

I went in my phone and helped him do the basic ingredients on gyro & quesadilla!! Place looked clean, next to liquor store so many junkies/stragglers walking near deli buying their alcohol...? Food being fixed to order, made fresh in front of me, and there is 16 chairs and four tables to eat in. Fountain sodas, are coke products! Canned and bottled soda available too. So I get the chicken Gyro, and the chicken quesadilla. We take it home and eat it 30 minutes later. The quesadilla was hot and fresh, but the chicken had no flavor and barely any seasoning. You could barely even notice there was any chicken in there because it was flavorless.... They gave us salsa in a Heinz packet, and then they gave us sour cream on the side. The salsa was like something that you get at Wawa with the peel off foil top. Nothing done with Love or unique ". Would highly recommend you avoid this place if you're looking for something special and different. Very average and the employees were fairly nice to me. Not very talkative and not very helpful with their own menu. Had to figure everything out myself. I have not tried this place for breakfast sandwiches so maybe that's better than what I got? they open early, but I got there around 5 PM.? I would give the place probably about a 5.8 out of 10. I would the deli was not memorable, and very forgettable!

The steak was juicy, tender, and well-seasoned without being overly salty, and every bite had that satisfying balance of meat and cheese. The provolone melted beautifully, coating the steak in a rich, slightly sharp creaminess. The peppers and onions were sautéed just enough to bring out their sweetness while still keeping a little bite, which added great texture and contrast. And the roll deserves a shout-out too -- soft and fresh on the inside, with just enough chew to hold everything together without falling apart. On top of the food, the service was warm and efficient, making the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. Capriotti's has definitely mastered the art of the cheesesteak, and this location proves why they're such a beloved name.

Extensive menu, immense portions, and immaculate customer service!…read more If you want a good meal with great people in a great atmosphere, Rosenfeld's is exactly where you want to be! With the classic deli line ready to serve you meats and deli treats, plus a restaurant with decor worth grabbing a seat and enjoying your favorite Jewish classics! The walls are covered in caricatures of famous Jewish actors, singers, athletes, and more. The local artists made great depictions of each, but they do have a cheat sheet for anyone that wants to figure out who they all are. The menu is huge... and everything is amazing! We have had the latkes and kugal before, but this time we ordered the Onion Dog, Paul's Reuben, and the Onion Ring/Fries Combo. Don't worry - they start you off with a complimentary bowl of pickles... with a full barrel in plain sight if you have the gumption to need a refill. The Onion Dog is a 1/3 pound beef dog spliced open for a drizzle of onion marmalade and topped with fresh fried onions. I swear this marmalade needs to be jarred asap - as it makes the hot dog one of my favorite bites! Paul's Reuben is clearly a dinner favorite! With 8 oz of fresh sliced corned beef piled high and a delicious sauerkraut and dressing! The Onion Rings/Fries combo seems simplistic, until the heaping basket comes your way - and the more than unique thick spiraled fries. Never have I ever seen these... and they are definitely something to stop in for all on their own. The waitresses are just great people. Asking about your vacation, giving pro tips on how to make your order perfection, and just caring about you like a family member would at a home cooked meal in your kitchen. If you dare have room, the desserts are sliced fresh from a display in the deli - I couldn't help but take pictures of the Skyscraper Cakes (Chocolate and Carrot options). Delivered to another table, this four layer cake was sliced in a 2" tome that looked more like an encyclopedia delivery than a dessert!

The Latkes were good, as were the onion rings. The French fries didn't impress me. The mushroom barley soup was tasty. Pastrami was good, not so much for the corned beef or brisket. I was actually disappointed with the brisket, it tasted by boiled beef. Being a 70+ year old kid from the Bronx who grew up with kosher deli's on every other corner I was spoiled. Nothing is like it used to be. But thankful that places like Rosenfeld's are still around and keeping memories alive. In a week I will be visiting the Bronx again and going to the last kosher deli in the Bronx. So if you're in the Bronx stop by Liebman's. Keep the memories going.
