I have a weird relationship with Crussh Juice Bar; I don't know that I love what they give me, but every so often I want it nonetheless.
It's fresh, it's clean, the staff are all super-friendly - all of these are major pros. I've never eaten food here but I do like the look of the cold quinoa and pasta salads, as well as some heartier bowls and warm melts. I've definitely eyed up some of the eat-in munchers as I've been waiting for my juicin' to go down.
My go-to order is the green goddess juice which packs in apple, celery, lime, spinach and maybe a handful of some other things. I usually get a large; it's modestly sized and aggressively priced, even though I know that you're paying for a fresh customizable drink. On that note: you can opt for 'boosters' in your drink, including things like vitamin C and omega. I also appreciate the recent push towards veggie smoothies; they do a body good.
In sum: something in the total equation means that Crussh is a "sometimes" and not an "OMGALWAYS" place for me. Though I do have to admit that, after a rough weekend, a Monday morning detox juice feels especially restorative.
Yelp note: like most good juice / smoothie / fro yo / coffee spots...there's a loyalty card that works on a stamp system. Get sippin' for some (eventual) freebies. read more
