Joes club 6.67/10- chicken avocado mozzarella vegan pesto. Subtle taste? Very simple. The pesto is very good but not overbearing. The chicken is kind of bland but the pesto and mozzarella makes up for it. The bread tastes like a more crisp version of an English muffin. I like that it doesn't feel heavy. Green mule 7.43/10- prettgy good, you can definitely taste the sweetness of the apple, slight taste of celery and ginger, pretty light like a VERY light smoothie however it's a juice. I did ask for Joe's AMG but they gave me this instead. They weren't helpful in changing it to my original order honestly. Oh so I checked the ingredients there is no celery but it was made with broccoli??! Interesting. I'm a Joe & The Juice regular in NYC so I was pleasantly surprised to find it during a work trip to London. This spot had more space than in NYC, which was also a welcomed surprise. I actually am not a fan of the iced coffee, but I DO love the ginger shot. A friend convinced me to try it a year ago; first time, it wasn't for me. By the second time, I was hooked. Joe the juice is just cool, no other way to say it. Love the vibe, the shakes and juices, but most importantly the ambiance created by the staff that is always kind of grungy/eclectic and most importantly the club tunes that are always rocking when you go in, at 7am or 9pm! The juices are all £3.85 or £4.95 for a large. I like adding ginger to mine. They also serve sandwiches. The vibe here is cool and laid back...quite unexpected for this area. More spacious and nicer sitting area. Staff are of course friendly as ever - this is what I always love about Joe and the juice. Love this place. OK that's the short version. For the long version, you need forgive some gushing and random streams of consciousness. Regent Street during the day is pretty much my idea of hell. I work in Soho with all the beardy, skinny jean-wearing, ironic glasses-wearing cool kids and PR luvvies (full disclosure, I am a card-carrying member of the latter crowd) and tend to only venture to Regent Street when payday has made me temporarily forget my mortgage or if I need to meet someone from the BBC, which is just a few steps further. Joe & The Juice is perfect for a quick lunch or coffee with friends or journos. Everything is made fresh in front of you, the toasted sarnies and super-food salads are generous and tasty and the people working there are truly lovely, friendly and fun. Yes, the music is loud (as some other reviewers have mentioned), but it doesn't get in the way of conversation and the upstairs seating is perfect for a quiet chat and when you loudly order a "large Sex Me Up" (passion fruit, apple and ginger juice... nothing beats it!), EVERYONE hears. Try not to blush and follow up by requesting a Young Blood - just for giggles. In fact, if I have one complaint it's that we need more double entendres in the naming but for now, I'll just suggest that you try everything on the menu at least once... oh, and get a loyalty card! read more

Not heavy and not greasy. The bread was a flat bread so it wasn't overly doughy. Very tasty! They have lots of coffee drinks but as a non coffee drinker I opted for the fresh press juice (Apple, mint, and celery). It was very good and refreshing! Ok this place is very hipster. Young people serving, very loud dance/rock music, very modern interior. But, and there's a big but...over £5 for a regular size smoothie/juice? It's seriously not worth it. Way too expensive for what you get. I often have a juice to buy on the go if I'm hungover or feel I need a boost. But I make juices regularly at home. It's very easy. I often find the people that go to these places don't understand how easy it is to just go home and make one. Of course if you can afford it, why not shell out. But it's not worth that much. The juice I had was nice. Celery, lemon, Apple. But nothing special. Mentally it makes me feel good and that's the job of any juice. I must say this juice bar in the heart of central had the lost good looking crowd ever, so I'd come back just to mingle with the bold and beautiful. The background: Joe and the Juice is a big hit in Denmark. This is their first venture into the shark infested waters of London eating and drinking. Apparently Joe is slang for coffee in the US. Ergo - Joe and the Juice is a Danish coffee and juice bar, with the odd sandwich and cakey bit thrown in for good measure. And here: Joe and the Juice, rather than dipping a toe into aforementioned waters have bravely leapt right in feet first with an army of servers (all called Joe), an impressive sized space beautifully decked out and best of all, an attitude. It's loud, it's fun. There are candles and velour armchairs downstairs, massive beanbag seats and fur rugs upstairs. Not your standard juice bar. And the juice is great too - plenty of options that may or may not have a bloke wincing as they ask for something named 'kiss' or 'sexy' - whatever, it's good stuff. Always the option for extra ginger too = hooray. I haven't tried the coffee yet, so as far as I see it, it's all about the juice here. And the juicers that make it. Young, pretty men. I'd never actually been to Joe & The Juice before, and had only really thought about how the logo sort of reminds me of HMV's (you get it, right?). We didn't actually have any juice because my hands were in their typical Ice Queen state and needed something to warm them, but we did order up coffee and hot chocolate. Both drinks came to £4.90, which was quite decent. Although I rarely go to coffee shops so don't have much to compare to I guess. I actually asked the guy if he'd put both of them through though...then we spent half an hour sitting in the window and watching life go by. The hot chocolate was good, although could have done with some whipped cream to make it awesome! Best quality coffee I had in London!! The coffee is truly made from love. The guys making the coffee explained why they don't have traditional syrups/sweeteners and were encouraging of cutting back on sugar. I got a latte with coconut milk and it was the best coconut milk I've had till this day (super rich and creamy and it totally enhanced the taste of the coffee. Wish I jotted down the brand name but I didn't). The cup of joe is on the pricey side but then again everything "healthy" these days is marked up. read more

Where the hell did this little gem pop up from? Okay its not that little but it's really cool. A nice open cafe with comfy sofas to snuggle in, great window seats for people watching, free wifi, plugs so you can charge up, great looking snacks. It's like an open office for all. I popped in here for a peppermint tea costing £1.90 for a huge cup and then sat and used their internet for 2 hours. Fabulous value for money. And not only that but they seem to have employed some of the most beautiful staff in the world. It took me a while to place my order while I got lost in a pair of sky blue eyes. mmmmm.... So yes, this is a great shopping pit stop that isn't a big UK chain so it generally quite quiet. They only opened in November but have quite a bit of money behind them as they are all over Europe. Holy. Shit. A shop that serves coffee AND juice? Are you kidding me? First off - my jet lagged and confused stomach was screaming HALLELUJAH. TMI, but I don't care. Second - COFFEE AND JUICE - two of my favorite things. I look down upon Folgers drinkers and scoff at anyone who doesn't know the benefits of turmeric. I can only speak for the juice. I popped in here on my second to last day of a business trip to hopefully flush some of the fish'n'chips, salt beef, and sausage in batter out of my system and get some energy flowing. Rather than even gander at the menu (which was quite expansive), I decided instead to ask for exactly what I wanted, like a true Santa Monica juice snob. Spinach, Parsley, Apple, Lemon, Ginger. They don't have parsley (whatever, I'll live), so I asked for extra spinach. I didn't see what they were making this juice in, but there was a shit ton of pulp...which I hate. It's forgivable, as I knew going in that this wasn't a pressed juicery. Besides the chunkies, it was DELICIOUS. The inside is SO cute. Very hip and cool. The music selection was awesome. Free wifi. Great touristy location, but just far off of Oxford Street enough to where it wasn't insanely crowded. Upstairs loft-style seating and downstairs main dining area. I blame the "Hell of Nervs" juice with banana, strawberry and Elderflower and "Tunacado" sarnie - that had way more tuna and avocado than (what looked like) high fiber wholemeal toasted bread. The atmosphere of this shop has a calm, cool feeling to it, a place where I feel I'd like to sit down with my laptop and pretend to study while actually people-watching. There was a couple browsing carpet textures upstairs on the couches, and some men having a (somewhat) casual business meeting.The staff are friendly and juice your juices quickly. The juice is full of fruity flavour and I can't wait to come back, even if it is a bit expensive. Unassuming juice bar where you can spend a long time catching up with a friend. It has very tall ceilings and cool music on the background (which doesn't interrupt the conversation). I would recommend the C-shot juice - red pepper, apple and lemon juice. Haven't tried the smoothies - but may pop over if I'm passing by. I'm not a fan of juice/smoothie bars - so unless I'm hungry and starving - wouldn't go a mile to find this place.
