I have had the opportunity to use her for 2 very different issues. I had a hyperstrained muscle in my back which radiated through my chest and it felt like a heart problem. Even a trip to the emergency room yielded no positive results. In my appointment with Dr Cruz, she located the source of the pain, and gave me an injection into the problem muscle. It immediately relaxed and the entirety of the pain and discomfort were gone within 10 minutes total. A miracle in my mind. My second issue was 2 years later as I was experiencing pain with what is normally associated with sciatica caused by lower back issues. After 2 1/2 months of therapy from a chiropractor in which things were only getting worse, I made an appointment with Dr Cruz. She located the source of the pain. She developed a non-surgical treatment plan which involved a non-invasive radio frequency procedure. One treatment and I felt all pain disappear. Another miracle in my opinion. Dr Cruz is a wonderful doctor. She is cordial and professional, and she listens intently while you explain what you see as the source of your pain. Similar to trigeminal neuralgia, yet much rarer. After months of testing and different doctors, no one knew the cause I couldn't speak, eat, and many more symptoms including syncope. When we finally found out the most likely answer, I needed a neurosurgeon desperately and urgently. Unfortunately, it's so rare where I was even turned down by neurosurgery experts, since they don't have experience in.. until I was blessed enough then and saw Dr. Sincoff. We waited months for this appointment, only to leave disheartened and confused. Dr. Moreno was abrupt, rude, condescending, dismissive, and clearly had not reviewed my MRI report. At one point, he begrudgingly flashed the MRI on the screen for mere seconds -- not to explain, but to silence questions he seemed offended by. His "treatment plan" felt rushed, based on snap judgment, and ignored key findings; his ego seemingly given more weight than thorough clinical review. My wife left in tears, and I left still in pain with incomplete answers. Medicine is not just about knowledge; it's about listening, synthesizing, and caring enough to explore the full scope of a patient's symptoms. On that front, Dr. Moreno failed spectacularly.
