It was our first time there and we were both completely enamored with the displays of beautiful artery of shrimp, crabs, fish and some aquatic plants. Since we were looking to add to an existing tank, we inquired about different shrimps to see which ones would be most suitable tank mates to our current residents. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and they helped us with the selection. We also picked it some driftwood and moss to add to the tank for the shrimp. Looking forward to returning once they get the pea puffers in which you can place your name on a waiting list online for in stock notification. SF is a nifty little shop and we'll likely be back for more additions soon.

It's a little hard to find, was hoping there would be a more obvious sign or some sort of color to stand out more. We were welcomed right when we walked in and they were very informative and told us about their deals. The shrimp are really tiny!, If some of them didn't pile up on each other i would not have seen them. They have a big range of different colors and sizes too. They also sell those little cute fish that cling onto the sides of the wall or other tiny fish. The cray fish really caught my eye. They're about the size of a cookie, really pretty. They even have blue ones! The man that is working there can answer any of your questions with ease and would tell us some facts we didn't know about the care, sizes and life span. Could not believe how busy it was on a regular weekend. From the crowds outside to the line up to…read moreget in not to mention all the exhibits, it was a zoo! Got some tickets when they had a sale back in April and redeemed this passed weekend. All areas were crowded but we made sure to wait our turn to see all the big exhibits up close. The Dangerous Lagoon was definately the highlight. Despite how busy it was, everything just slows down here. The moving walkway slowly moves you through the beautiful massive underwater tunnel for what felt like 7 minuites. The jelly fish display where the lighting creates a majestic scene of the jellyfish changing color in synchrony from the deep dark purples to the most vibrant reds was also a sight to see. A great variety of sea creatures on display here. You think it, they had it. Several areas for interactive play throughout including a playplace at the end (good luck following your kid in there - the play structure was packed to the max). You can also pet the stingrays on your way out. We spent a little over 2 hrs here. If it wasnt so busy may have waited for the dive shows and feeding times. Couldve also been a more relaxing experience if they limit the number of admissions throughout the day. I remember during COVID they had a time slot system. Seems theyve went away with it now. Overall definately worth checking out at least once.

A staff member goes around the mini auditorium to ensure everyone gets a chance to pet the unique creatures while offering fun facts about each one. We also got to watch a few of them being fed by a "Reptillia staff in training" who was in elementary school (very cool to see they have programs/ opportunities like this for kids to further drive their interest in learning about these reptiles). We walked through the whole place in under an hour. There is a gift shop on site as well as an outdoor playground (seasonal). Oddly enough, the highlight of our experience here was the end of the path - a little indoor playground! It featured a small play structure, mirror maze and climbing area with fun mirrors. The kids did not want to leave and I think they spent more time there than they did walking through the exhibit. No food options onsite but there are a few tables at the entrance where you can eat your own packed snacks.

Wild Things is EXACTLY the opposite of all this: The total number of animals and/or birds locked up or inaccessible to the children is zero. Norman, the owner, has a very extensive family of animal and bird friends and he loves to share them with the children who come to visit. $8.00 per person is the admission price and for that you get unlimited access to chicks from several breeds of chickens, geese, ducks, pigeons and turkeys. Can you pet them? Of course you can. Can you pet chicks, and even pick them up chicks and hold them in your hand? Yes, of course you can. Can you feed any of them? Yes, of course you can. In fact, all of them. You are encouraged to feed any of the animals. Unlimited food is available ....all of it at no extra charge. As soon as you exit your vehicle in the parking lot will be met by several breeds of goats, ranging from dwarfs to full -size, and maybe a small cow. Chickens and ducks will surround you as you walk most places, from the parking lot onward. Turkeys and geese mostly stay near the barns or the pond. The geese may be a bit stand-offish, depending on their mood, but they will also wait to be touched. The rabbits, which range from white/black through milk chocolate and all the way to full black LOVE to be held and cuddled.. An occasional chipmunk may join in.. In the 120 year-old barn adults can see and appreciate how the wood was cut and fitted by hand in the nineteenth century: wood pins hold it together, not metal nails. Head back to the corner of the barn and you will find some zip-lines for the children to enjoy. and liberal hay on the floor to protect them in case they fall off. A fifty-year old black walnut stands outside, with bird houses across it, and ropes to swing from, while rope hammocks await nearby for those that get tired. Is it all perfect? Not quite: there are no washrooms with running water. Just the old-style wood privvies, with hand-wash lotions outside.. Is a visit worthwhile? It is beyond any expectation. I have not even heard of anything that delivers this much, at any price, anywhere. Children and adults will be treated to an enjoyment that cannot be found in any commercial farm or zoo anywhere in the GTA, perhaps even all of Ontario.. For kids, .this is several dreams come true, all at the same time. Oh yes, Parking is free, too.

There were spiders, crocodiles, and snakes...they looked quite nice, but most of them poisonous. There were different time frames for the feeders to feed the animals and shown to the guests. And there were different time frames to have a show that guests could touch the specific animals: turtle, snake, and we could watch the spider. I was so scared to watch the spider. I believe we have to wait for a while until my kid get older, then we will go again.
