I'd say without a pass I find their classes quite expensive. $25+ tax for an hour is quite more than what I pay at other studios like SN & HDC. When buying the pass I did not realize that the DT location only offers classes on Sunday. Which makes it challenging to use up the pass quickly. The level of teachers is also very broad. I wasn't a big fan of some of the teachers (they seemed very inexperienced) However, one in particular stood out as exceptional (Andrew). I did venture to the Richmond location on a few occasions and found the teaching to be a bit more consistent. Classes were packed though which I found a little too congested (it was also hard to see the instructor). Having quality class footage after class is a nice perk!

I was 11 min late due to traffic but they still kindly let me in (their policy was 10 min window). Confirmed they were the biggest pole studio in the Vancouver area. I chose to come to the Richmond location as there was a parking lot so it would be easier for me to find parking. Their ceiling was 24 ft high. Whether it's a member of her staff or a parent. She has a very condescending tone in her voice and tries to make you feel as little as possible. As a parent who has been at The Landing for quite sometime, I've seen this happen many times. This will be the last year my daughter dances here, the environment is toxic and I will not expose her to that sort of behaviour any longer. The teachers may be the only reason that we are still currently here, if not for them we wouldn't have returned for this season.

The class itself was boring and the teacher did not seem to know what he was doing, he was very scattered and unorganized. Clean, modern and spacious (not too many people) gym in the heart of Golden Village, aka Aberdeen…read morearea. Although price is comparable to Steve Nash, I am now going to AF Richmond because it is transit friendly (by Aberdeen Station), & they don't have pushy sales people. The gym is brand spanking new, so they have modern and new equipment. They have a good range of cardio and strengthening equipment. They even have a punching bag to take out your frustrations on! That's exciting for me. Plus, you can watch a show of your choice as you're on the cardio machines. If you dread going to the gym like I do, this is a big deal. They're open all the time, with staff on site during mall hours. Otherwise, you work out at any time with your special access fob. The gym has towel service and three individual bathrooms (1 washroom and 2 showers). There's not that many people at this point (or at least when I go in the evening), so you won't have to hang too closely with other sweaty peeps like yourself. Facility seems to be environmentally friendly with water bottle fountains and automatic lights in the bathroom. Maybe the lights are environmentally friendly too? At least, I hope so. The only downside is they don't have that many group classes. Zumba, martial arts and some other class. I hope they add more classes soon. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my membership, mostly because it is more accessible to me=I can go there more often. I pay about $45/month, which is okay. At least I actually use this membership because of above reason. Plus, the franchise owners are approachable and helpful. Always a good way to start!
