I'm extremely disappointed with this company's lack of professionalism and communication. I specifically confirmed my booking date for May 16 not once, but twice, both over text and on a phone call. Despite that, they somehow booked me for May 23 instead...ridiculous. This caused unnecessary stress and completely disrupted my plans. When clients take the time to clearly confirm details multiple times, there's no excuse for this kind of mistake. It shows a serious lack of organization and attention to customers. We hired Crystal Bartenders to provide bartending services at a nonprofit charity event. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing short of a disaster. Despite multiple reminders, they failed to provide a proper Certificate of Insurance (COI) that met our buildings' property managements' very standard and clearly stated requirements (no other vendor had this issue). As a result, the building prohibited them from entering the premises, leaving us without a bartender on the day of the event. What's most frustrating is that this failure was entirely on their end, yet they offered no meaningful solution, no accountability, and worst of all -- no full refund, even though no services were rendered. We had hired them months in advance and could never have anticipated such an outcome. We were left scrambling at the last minute to find a replacement, adding enormous stress to an already busy day. To make matters worse, the company made a verbal commitment to issue a full refund, then reversed course, issued only a partial amount, and became evasive and combative when asked to honor their original promise, despite again, agreeing to refund the full amount over the phone as this the contract was terminated due to their inability to perform. Furthermore, this event was a fund raiser for a charity near and dear to the community Crystal Bartenders serves, but that was met with complete indifference. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of integrity is unacceptable for any service provider, let alone one trusted to handle a formal event and one trusted for years in the community. Crystal Bartenders had become a household name and the go-to for any event. This is no longer the case. Management has been handed off from the ownership, and community relations are not prioritized anymore - a sad but common outcome of successful businesses where greed leads them to their own demise. Avoid Crystal Bartenders. There are plenty of of reliable, professional alternatives -- this is not one of them. They will tarnish all relations with you even for a few dollars. Avoid. Avoid. If I could give 10 stars I would. This is now our 4th time working with Masis and his team and each time is better than the last. We've gotten lucky to have gotten to experience 4 different bartenders and not one has failed us! They bring such good energy and fun to the party - Crystal has become a must at all of our events. This last party was a more elaborate set up and we didn't even notice. Masis and his team came a day before and made sure everything was set up correctly and looked phenomenal. Our backyard was transformed to Veuve polo party! Izzy , the bartender, was amazing, she was beyond helpful !! She arrived much earlier than the party- not only setup her bar but helped us set up for the party and helped throughout the party as well. Clean up/pick up happened the next morning - extremely smooth and quick. Overall amazing service, setup , staff and communication. The few days before the event we did prep of the bar menu and the supplies we will need since I was paying for the alcohol and they were providing the bartender only. That was super helpful. They even advised on how many bags of ice I would need. The day of the event, the bartender came an hour early to start set up and familiarize himself with the bar area. He even had the recipe of each drink printed to make sure he doesn't miss anything. The presentation was great even with garnishes and umbrellas. All the guests were happy and it was the most popular vendor at the event. Orlando was great with the service and even walked over to me to give me my drink since I was running around as the host and couldn't stand there and wait. I will never forget this company as one that tried to ruin such a special day for me & my husband, our wedding day. Just moments after our wedding ceremony ended (we were literally still taking our photos in the church) the owner, Masis, calls my husband and starts threatening him because we had another vendor at our venue (Gold Shaker Bartending - a professional company you should use instead of this fraudulent company). When inquiring about every vendor we used for our wedding, there were contracts and deposits placed to confirm every booking. Crystal bartenders didn't do any of that and even ignored all the reach outs from my husband asking for updates. They showed up to our wedding venue unannounced and forced my husband to send them $200 in order to leave or else they'd ruin our night. Being the bigger person and trying to avoid further conflict on our wedding day, we venmod the $200 for absolutely no reason. It makes my blood boil to this day that these people are literal robbers. Save yourself the headache and spend your money elsewhere. read more
