Another pool service vanished and abandoned us leaving us with a swamp! This crew rescued us and fixed the swamp in three days. They had to drain, acid wash, replace the tile, and lights. I would love give A good review but I can't because they just don't show up to do the work when they make appointments. My pool pump burned up the seal because it didn't primp up so my normal pool servicer recommend this place to repair the pump. They made the appointment to come out and I waited at my rental from the time window that was given to me and it was getting late so I called him and I felt like he forgot because he asked me to give him the address again He came out right away and told me that he would call me in a few hours to give me a bid, but a few hours came and went so I called him that evening His bid was $450 to change the impeller and seal. I agreed to the price and he told me he would come out on Tuesday of next week (it was a Thursday when we spoke). I said ok and let the tenants know so that they could be there to open the gate. Tuesday came and went and he didn't show or call. Tenants not happy that they wasted their time waiting when they have other things to do plus they still can't use the pool and it's been very hot I called the them and asked what happened and they said they were "too busy". They said that they would come out within the next two days and he told me he would call either tomorrow morning (Wednesday) or Thursday at the latest. I asked him "is it so hard to pick up the phone and call me if you are not going to show up?" By the awkwardly long time it took him to answer I can tell he thought the question was offensive. Wednesday and Thursday came and went and they didn't bother to call or show up. Wow. I would have gladly paid them the money they bid and given them a good review but this was a no go. Bye the way, i ordered the parts and fixed it myself. Too bad the communication is so bad when th this company because I would have loved to give them the business. read more

Pretty simple... these guys are honest and know pools. I went through 3 or 4 before choosing these guys. The other 3 or 4 were scammers, didn't clean up behind themselves, didn't have a set schedule and you knew that they didn't clean your pool when they said they did. Crystal Clear, you know they've been there and if there's an issue or question the owner is easy to get a hold of and he's there on the double. Local guy with local attitude, cares about his customers and his business and it shows. After many weeks of going through a 'cooling off' period I'm finally writing a review for this pool service company. I'll start off by stating that I'm a first time pool owner and these types of services are very new to me. My wife and I picked Crystal Clear after reviewing numerous other pool service providers. We asked for Crystal Clear to check the whole system whether it be the pumps, piping, valves,...etc. After their technician's review he suggested a full pool drain and cleaning/vacuum as it was showing some algae and there was heavy residue on the floor from the pool being stagnant for so long. They moved forward with the work which cost us over $400.00. Within a week...it started showing signs of algae again. We felt like the cleaning system was not working properly. When we called Francisco(owner) he stated that it just needed more chemicals and repeatedly asked that we give him the monthly pool service. We evaluated the work that they had just performed and it was not looking like it would be to our benefit for Crystal Clear to do the monthly pool service. We then called our insurance company and they sent their tech to our home and he immediately found the problem. The problem was indeed the pool cleaning system. It simply needed new parts and maintenance. Unfortunately our insurance wouldn't cover the work. We ended up ordering the parts, You-Tubed the how to videos, bought a good water test kit, and have now successfully brought the pool back to smooth operation and beautiful water ourselves.
