The theme park is very cute and clean with lots of fun entertainment perfectly geared towards children 2-9 in my opinion. The suggested age online is 1-7. All of the rides are relatively short waits with less than 10 minutes for each. This is great because kids have such short attention spans. The rides are very appropriate for toddlers. They are similar to a carnival in my opinion. They have simple motion with lots of cute Peppa Pig theming. The best part of the day was certainly the splash pad. Our kids really loved the slides. Make sure you don't have zippers on your kids swimsuits, they do not allow zippers and will make you cover up or change. For food and drinks there is a restaurant but I highly suggest bringing your own foods and drinks. The prices are a little crazy in my opinion but on par with other theme parks. To me Peppa Pig is very sensory friendly. I would highly suggest for a child with sensory needs. My only complaint about Peppa Pig Theme Park is the lack of misters and fans throughout. Despite having a splash pad and shaded areas it's still very hot inside. Especially at the security check in area. Make sure you bring some fans. I would still return until my kids are sick of it. Great experience.

When we decided to visit the area over the Thanksgiving holiday the park was an option for camping but not the first option and that was mainly due to the accommodations when compared to the other options right outside the entrance to the park but that's another review. The admission is five bucks a car which is collected a few hundred yards from the main road - the ranger wasn't over friendly as he reach out for the payment using a six foot pole with a pail attached insisting on exact change then offered a map which he passed using the same method. These covid-19 protocols are really getting ridiculous I noticed he grabbed the bill without gloves how did he know I didn't just sneeze on it. The drive to the campgrounds, the park store, the marina, the observation tower, the pavilions pretty much everything is quite a drive, I think the loop is just over six miles at 15 m.p.h - I'm in no hurry the day is as beautiful as the drive. We drove through the campground to validate our decision to stay elsewhere, there's no doubt the value is here but living off the gray and black tanks for a week means super conservative measures since there are no sewer connections. I prefer not to carry a portable dump cart or moving the beast every few days requires a lot of effort especially when I'm supposed to be relaxing and having fun. Another park void of many visitors even on a holiday weekend, the campground seems nearly full but the park amenities aren't being utilized. I witnessed a number of park employees doing their daily chores, everything is so neat and tidy it's almost as if they've been assigned busy work to get their hours in. Like most business I'm sure the revenue had dropped off, fortunately for them the state subsidies them for now but I'm sure if this pandemic continues these places too will start shutting down or implement reduced hours. It's was an interesting drive - a nice place to walk and climb to the top of the observation tower. Honestly to me it's a been there done that type of place, pine trees and palms if your going walk the trails bring plenty of water and enjoy...

The land for the park was purchased from the Goodman Grove Partnership in 1994 for $200,000. The county spent another $2.4 million developing it in phases so that it would have something for everyone. Surrounding the park is a mile long jogging and walking trail with 14 fitness stations. At the entrance to the park are basketball and racquetball courts. Each recreation area has either its own bathrooms or concession stands. At opposite ends of the park are football and soccer fields. Other amenities include four baseball fields, two volleyball courts, two tennis courts, five horseshoe pits, seven small picnic pavilions and one large group pavilion available for rental, and two playgrounds with a rubberized surface. The football field is named after the late Teresa Beasley, a volunteer who helped establish a youth football league in Dundee. Pine trees and palmetto trees are scattered throughout the park offering welcome shade. I stopped by the park because they had some vendors for the 39 Mile Lake Wales Scenic Ridge Yard Sale. It was not an official stop but scattered between the official yard sales are many of these unofficial sites. Also going on in the park on the day I stopped was the annual harvest festival. This large and spacious park had more than enough room to host a sale and the festival with it's numerous tents, bounce houses, and demonstrations. East Central Park is a wonderful recreational facility for Dundee.
