My son is a huge Legoland fan (and so am I) and we've been here a few times. We haven't made it to the waterpark until recently as it is often closed. It was fun to try it and it's definitely a nice change from the park on a hot day. My son loved some of the crazy slides. There is a lazy river and lots of Lego water stations the kids can play with. That being said, there are a few downsides: the location is not ideal. It's all the way at the end of the park so you have to walk through Legoland and back when you go. What makes this even more tedious is that there are no towels provided so you have to get all that stuff yourself through the park. The chairs were a bit run down. Only one food booth with limited options and they weren't accommodating at all when I accidentally ordered the wrong fountain drink. I doubt I will come back. The hotel pool is more fun. read more

Always such a great time here for the kids. Love that the rides are the size of the kids and my six year old is able to ride 90 percent of the rides without a problem. Water park was amazing for such a hot day with so many areas. Love that they had the water play area where the kids used legos to build their boat and then race them down the water flow. Overall we had fun, but I'm on the fence if we'd come back. I'll get the negatives out of the way first. 1. Some of the water isn't heated. It was April and my kids were freezing after getting wet on the splashpad (which is a really awesome splashpad). We had to go sit in the wave pool to try to warm up. It was 80 degrees outside, but that wind makes it feel colder sometimes. My husband said the lazy river wasn't heated, which was really surprising to me so we had to skip that. 2. The duplo splash pad was closed. Since it's such a small waterpark to begin with, that takes out a good chunk of it. 3. The food is bad and slow. I ordered a Bavarian pretzel, a hotdog and nachos. They said I'd have to wait for the pretzel and hotdog. They finally brought me out a hotdog and I asked about the pretzel. They had forgotten and then tried to argue that I hadn't paid for it. Which was accurate! I was still standing there with my credit card trying to pay for everything. It was a really weird experience. In the end the pretzel was pretty bad and the hotdog it $9 for a normal sized Hebrew national hotdog (which I know the brand, because they brought it out when I asked if there was pork in it.) We also ordered chicken tenders at another window and it took a very, very long time. So why would I come back? The kids had a blast. I would absolutely wait till it is warmer (which is crazy since April in Florida is not cold), but if I get it for free with my park ticket (which we did this time) then I'll consider it. I would never pay for it to be an add on. My older son was tall enough for us to do the tube slide. It was a blast. If you have a smaller child, you'll have a hard time finding a life jacket for them. We ran into one small life jacket that was 30-50 lbs. Otherwise, there were medium galore. If you're staying at the hotel you can bring their towels and return them here. Like others have pointed out, they don't have towels and it's at the way back of Legoland (past the driving school). Really weird place for a water park. I had my kids wear their swim clothes for the first half of the day while at the park then we went to the water park, then changed to regular clothes and I just carried our swimsuits with us the rest of the day. It works since they're still in a stroller, but if they weren't I'd probably recommend a wagon. The food place by the wave pool was closed, which was sad. No fruity alcoholic drinks were available, just a sad assortment of beer, wine and canned "cocktails." read more

Came to the water park to celebrate my sons birthday. My daughter got hurt on a waterslide. Her back was bleeding! Took employee 30 minutes to bring us a bandage! How is there nothing in the fanny packs all these employees wear! Or a local first aide station? We won't be back! read more

This was probably the best part about our day at Legoland. There are so many different options, covering all different age groups. We started at the lazy river, then went to the giant play structure, then to the wave pool. Somewhere in the middle of it, my wife -- being more adventurous than I -- took our oldest on the super tall water slide. Not my thing, but if it's yours, have at it. Why am I withholding a fifth star? First, the cost for lockers is ludicrous; $16 for the smallest unit, IIRC. Second, a number of the water slides on the play structure were shut down, likely due to insufficient staff. Kind of frustrating for my middle child, who isn't big enough for the giant slides, to see so many of the smaller ones closed. But, he still had a great time. Overall, I recommend the water park, especially if you can find a BOGO deal. read more

I don't understand this water park! It is located at the bitter back of LegoLand, and we went here after already being at the regular LegoLand for hours. If there are towels here, I did not see them, which was confusing to me, as although I lugged swimwear around with me all day, I was unwilling to lug towels around too. When we went, the biggest slide was not in working order and the Taco place was closed. I was fairly suprised that there was no food or beverage options AT ALL in the main part of the park. What a wasted opportunity! Hot and tired from the park, I would have easily guzzled some overpriced frozen drinks for everyone. The water park is fairly small, with a wave pool, lazy river, kiddie play area, 2 waterslides, and some lego waterplay areas. My kids loved the Lego waterplay activities- and in fact most kids who were here seemed to be having a blast. One shaded area is a boat race, with kids able to build their own Lego boats and then bring them to the top of the chute to let their boat go down. This means the kids run from the top to the bottom to stay even with their boat, on the slippery floor, which means lots of falling from kids, unfortunately; this conundrum could be easily attended too with some appropriate flooring. My kids stayed in this area, fascinated and engaged, for over an hour before being dragged away. The strange thing is- this activity doesn't require anyone to be wearing a swimsuit at all. This is such a missed opportunity - as the popularity and engagement of this tiny part of the water park would be an awesome full blown exhibit in regular LegoLand. Likewise, a smaller structure featuring duplo pieces, that lets kids shoot water at spinning lego parts, also did not need swimsuits. Just to be honest, I would not pay for this again unless it was included in a regular ticket price or deeply discounted. There wasn't enough time to do all of LegoLand AND get to the waterpark before it closed. read more

The Legoland Water Park is a very small addition to the main Legoland Florida park, and comes at an additional cost, as well. For $25 a day, you can wade in the wave pool, take a ride around the small lazy river, slide down a few tube and body slides or play in the little family soaker area. This water park part of the overall theme park has very limited hours (such as noon - 4pm) and is very small. I enjoyed the few hours we spent there as part of our hotel package, but really disliked walking through the ENTIRE Legoland park to get there (and to get back to the hotel once sopping wet). It really should have its own entrance and a few more attractions. There is one cute attraction that ties into the Lego theme where you can build a small Lego boat and race it against others in a water feature near the wave pool. This did provide lots of "dry" fun. I will say that the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful which helped make the experience more enjoyable. read more

I brought my six year old nephew here we had a great time except you have to walk all the way through Legoland to get all the way to the back of the waterpark. That was very hard to find that seems like there should be another entrance to get through without having to walk through the park but we had a good time almost all the rides were open it's more for smaller children I wouldn't recommend anything over 12 years old. The teenagers would probably get bored here. read more

We didn't know what to expect as the reviews for the Legoland hotels and Legoland parks are pretty mixed. We stayed at the Pirate Island Hotel for 2 nights. Our family consisted of 2 adults, a 5.5 year old, and a 6 month old. We stayed mid August 2024 (FL schools were back in session.) I'll break everything down by parts: 1. Hotel- the room itself was super exciting for our 5.5 year old. There was a treasure hunt within the room, legos to play with, and plenty of kid show selections on TV. The adult bed was super high- even for adults. The bathroom did have a musty smell. The shower/tub itself looked a bit old. Hopefully they're working on updating the bathrooms as I feel that's where the smell is coming from. Our hotel stay came with breakfast. It tasted good (they switch out the carb (waffles, etc) each day)). They also had a place for kids to play as we waited on food. The lobby- especially over at the other Lego hotel is nuts. Lots of kids screaming and running around- but I mean, it is a kid place. I just felt for the workers who probably had their ears ringing by the time they could go home. The halls of the pirate island hotel are really dark. I get that that's part of the theme... but I also question how clean things are with halls so dim. Legoland Park- in the two days we were there, there was never a wait. The signs all say "5 minutes". It's less than that. Our 5.5 year old could get off rides and run back to the entrance to get right back on rides. Coming in with a 6 month old, I appreciated the areas with fans. Several workers in the stores also encouraged me to bring our stroller into their shops to keep the baby cool. There were maybe 2-3 rides closed, but the majority of the park was open. Legoland Water Park: this must've been an addition once the Legoland park was completed. To get to the water park, you have to walk through Legoland. The first day my 5.5 walked in sandals and it took almost an hour to get him out of the park with how bad his feet hurt. The second day we brought his water clothes to change into- much better. I personally think the water park was the highlight of his trip. He could've/would've spent the entire 2 days there. Lazy River, slides, water play park area, etc. plenty for a 5.5 year old to do! We never encountered a negative employee. We found everyone to be friendly and helpful. We felt everything was slightly overpriced, but nothing compared to Disney. Overall we'd most likely come back, especially when the baby is old enough to enjoy some of the younger rides. read more

I am beyond agitated with Legoland. There is no way to get a hold if anyone directly in customer service unless you drive down there. If you contact them via email it takes up to 7 business days for a response. We had rented a Cabana for our daughter's birthday and when we saw that the weather was not going to be on our side we scrambled to find our options. Since I was unable to get a hold of anyone by phone my husband went down to speak to their customer service in person. He was specifically told by a manager that as long as we don't check into our reservation they will issue us a refund once they look up the weather for that day. This weather was thunder and lightening storms that would not of allowed us to use any of the attractions any way. I trusted this info and found alternate inside plans. I was then informed via email almost a week later that no refunds would be issued even though weather would not have allowed us to use the Cabana. I have gone back and forth via email and even though I have asked someone to please call me they will not. It seriously is so ridiculous so now we are out all of this money. Buyer beware. They have majority of slides closed during winter. "Pump issues" "not enough staff" "hurricane damage" Do not waste ur money!!!!!! Two baby slides open for children under 42inches. They don't even have the correct tubes available for twin chasers for children under 48inches. Spoke with Sofia powel who basically told me it wasn't her problem and to call corporate to tell them my complaints. She was also rude to me in-front of my young children. Even though it's obviously not the employees fault they could try to be more accommodating and at least have the necessary equipment available for children to ride the only slides that are currently open!!! She told me the tubes are too moldy to be used. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Nice water park, but not much to it. There's a lazy river, about 4 slides, some kiddie areas, a wave pool, and a splash zone. It's very clean, but doesn't appear to be kept up with. Park isnt that old and the paint is faded from the Florida sun. A lot of the umbrellas could also use some cleaning. Other than that, it's a clean park. You have to walk through the entire park to get to the water park. It would be nice if there was a train or something that would take you to the water park. Parking is $23. If you plan on being at legoland for 2 days or more, just get the season pass as it will be about the same price and it gets you feee parking and admission to the wax museum and aquarium in Orlando. read more

Very limited options and it's to small for the amount of people that visit. I can count on both hands what is available to do here. The kids play area is always packed and there are only a few slides available to use. Being a person who loves water parks. This place is very underwhelming even for a 6 year old. You also have to walk through the whole legoland to get to the water park. Hopefully they continue to add more slides and activities for the kids and families to do. The staff does a very good job watching the children and families, the area is always well kept and clean. You will be underwhelmed when it comes to things to do here. read more

It was our first time coming to Legoland so of course we did both the theme park and waterpark but next time I don't think I would pay for the waterpark side. It was not as big as I thought it would be. There was the wave pool with jumbo Lego pieces floating everywhere, the lazy river with inner tubes that you can stack the jumbo lego pieces on as well. There was 3 water slides for children I think at least 42 inches. They also had 2 bigger water slides that you go down with the inner tubes. They also had for the smaller children a water playground area with smaller slides. That was pretty much it...I was a little disappointed. The good thing is guest services offers life jackets for children and adults for free. There are lifeguards everywhere even in the very shallow areas which I thought was great. Safe than sorry. But overall the theme park side is more bang for your buck. read more

Only one entrance, make it a visit during your Legoland theme park visit, bring swimming clothes with you. Only worth 1 to 2 hours visit no longer than that. Legoland recently had a "buy one park ticket, get water park ticket free" deal that I took advantage. We came to the water park after spending the whole day prior at Legoland. The kids and I really enjoyed the water park. There isn't a lot to do, but since it was free I didn't mind much. Our favorite part was the wave pool and the Joker Soaker which is basically a big water playground made with several different slides. Really fun. The only annoying thing is you can't buy a ticket just for the water park. Because you have to walk through Legoland to get to the water park, even if you want to only go to the water park, you have to buy a Legoland park + water park ticket, which is $120-$133 depending on if you use a discount (like AAA or buy online). I personally don't think the water park alone is worth 130 bucks, so when they have another BOGO deal in the future, I would recommend using it. read more

Life guards give conflicting information. Told my daughter she could not cross the bridge to meet me where we had decided. Told my son he could not sit at the edge of the wave pool. VERY strict that all guests in the lazy River must be in a tube. And NO towels. Oh, you can purchase one for $20. But why when you've either bought a combo ticket or upgraded for $25??
