They would call him, and I should follow up in the new year. I called right after Jan. 1. They said they did not have my paperwork or any record I had even spoken to them. I went for a different test last month. I called and called for results. I left messages and they never got back to me. I finally got a call back from a patient advocate who was full of attitude and said they had no responsibility to give me the results and to check with my doctor. I asked if someone could've called me back to tell me that? And she said no, that wasn't their problem. Very nice. I'd rather go to a veterinarian than return to Good Sam.

They were originally going to bring to Valley hospital in Paramus, but decided at the last minute that they did not have a trauma unit so Good Sam would be the place to go. Throughout the 24 hour visit, the nurses were kind and responsive but definitely seemed pretty busy and it was hard to flag them down when we needed an extra blanket, for example. We had 3 to 4 different doctors checking in from various departments including internal medicine, on call Dr and Head of the Trauma unit which was great because we got a wide range of specialists. We appreciated their thoroughness and gentle manner when going through the details from the accident and how it impacted the body, results from xray and such. Not once did we feel rushed or that they genuinely didn't care. Unfortunately, it was a very busy night so although we had a room initially in the unit, they were not able to move us to a quieter place to rest overnight until late into the evening. They were patients laying in the hallways on beds to the lack of rooms. Not sure if it is always like this or it was just one of those days, but it made it pretty loud and I'm sure those patients were uncomfortable. Would 100% come back here if I needed to go to an ER or a trauma unit.

My mother was discharged from Good Samaritan Hospital yesterday, after being there for a week. I…read morecould tell by looking at her that she was not ok. She was staring at me blankly, almost like she didn't know who I was and she would barely speak. She is usually very interactive and talkative. I pleaded with them not to discharge her. My sister begged them to do a CT Scan to see what was wrong, but they refused and discharged her anyway. A nurse came to the house for follow up this morning, less than 12 hours after discharge. The nurse immediately told my sister to call 911. My mother was taken to another hospital. They did a CT Scan and found she has a blockage in her kidneys, urine in kidneys, inflammation causing bleeding in her urinary tract, and a UTI. Needless to say, she was admitted. "Good" Samaritan Hospital should be shut down.

I was bleeding through my clothes…read moreand I was walking with a plastic garbage bag around my waste, in order to not contaminate wherever I sat. I was rushed to a room with very little privacy and supplies for my ob-gyn Emergency. The privacy curtain was too short for the glass doors. The room didn't have a bathroom in it. I wasn't offered any maternity underwear that fit and I wasn't offered any maternity pads. I was offered heavy duty bed pads. I asked, if they could call upstairs to maternity to get underwear and pads. I was denied. They said they didn't do that? I was on the bed bleeding for hours on at least 20 bed pads, bc we had to keep changing them. They were filling up by the hour. I wanted to use the bathroom but I didn't have proper under garments. So if I walked to the bathroom, I would have left a trail of blood going and coming back to the public bathroom in the hall. To remedy that situation, they offered me a commode. They had to put down bed pads on the floor, so I wouldn't get blood on the floor and contaminate the floor. When I was done. They changed the bed pads on the bed but left the blood soaked pads on the floor. So everyone sitting in front of the room at the desk, could look under the privacy curtain and see blood. Everyone walking by my room could see me on the commode bc the curtain was too short for the GLASS doors. One woman even walked into my room, looking for her daughter. There were bloody bed pads on the bed and I was standing coming off of the commode, waiting for the tech to change my pads on the bed. They had non urgent patient in front of my door, while Dr examined them. The patients family members, had chairs to sit on in front of my door. If they looked down or passed the 5 inch gap in the privacy curtain, they could see my blood soaked pads on the floor. I was given medication, in order to expel the contents of my uterus. I was not offered any pain medication to go along with the medication. I was in so much pain, and they were drawing up the discharge papers. I asked for pain medication. I got Tylenol. I was discharged. I wasn't informed of what to expect. I wasn't offered any food or drinks. I would expect with that amount of blood loss, some nutritional supplements would be offered in order to keep my blood pressure and sugar stable. I wasn't offered any clothing. Again any pads on under garments to go. I had to put back on my blood soaked clothing. I had no pads. I decided to fold up, a bed pad and put it between my legs. I walked out of the Emergency Room in pain and embarrassed. I had to drive myself home, bc no one information me of the side effects of the medication I ingested. On my way home, I had to pull over several times. I threw up, while throwing up, I also shit on myself and I was bleeding profusely. I got home and got in the shower. I wasn't in the shower 1 minute before I got dizzy. I got out I sat on my toilet and passed out. Thank God, my husband was home bc he wasn't supposed to be. He was supposed to be at work. But he wouldn't leave until he knew I was OK. He called 911. I was taken to another hospital. Where my blood pressure had dropped due to lack of blood loss. My blood pressure was 53/39. I couldn't speak and I was in and out of consciousness. They took care of me. Looking back in hindsight, I could have had a car accident while driving and I could have died or killed someone else.

It was our first time there, and although there was only one other patient in the waiting room when we arrived- it was clearly understaffed as there was no "receptionist" or anyone to answer the ringing phones or take our info when we walked in. When we finally saw the doctor- he was pleasant, but told me that my child did not have an ear infection. Since we had recently traveled to Mexico and my son had a fever, he suggested that we should go directly to the ER for bloodwork to rule out Dengue Fever or Malaria. We went to the ER and after hours of testing, the doctor told us that we shoudl go home and wait for the results, but he asked to check my son's ears first. He checked his ears and told us that he had an EAR INFECTION! He prescribed us antibiotics and sent us on our way. Now I'm stuck with a $1300 ER bill for something I knew was an ear infection in the first place. I will never go to this Urgent Care again!

I told the provider with my history of Asthma I thought I needed prednisone and maybe an antibiotic. She said it was viral and to use mucinex. PS 24 hours later I felt 100% worse than yesterday. Went to my provider who said I had an asthmatic exacerbation. She was dumbfounded why I wasn't at least put on prednisone. Now on cough medicine with codeine, prednisone and antibiotics. I am not someone who runs for medication. I know when I am sick. I can't stand providers that don't listen to the patients. I WILL NEVER GO BACK as a provider who won't listen to my concerns, is not worth my business. #LISTEN
