Marc sent someone in his place to our wedding, who told us he had never dj'ed before. This "backup…read moreof a backup" (Marc's words) showed up in an open, trashy looking Hawaiian shirt to our wedding at the fort garry hotel. He managed to not play any of the proper music agreed upon previously with Marc for the ceremony, instead playing rock songs for the wedding procession (instead of classical). He did not play the music we agreed on for the wedding reception, and would not play the songs requested to him in person by the bride and groom. Marc was contacted the night of, and told both the bride and the groom that he was on his way. He never bothered to show. A full refund was requested and received. Unfortunately the damage has been done and far exceeded the original payment given to Marc. An iPod and wireless speakers would have been a much wiser idea than trusting this company. If you don't want to run the risk of someone having a major screwup on your special day, avoid using supreme entertainer.

However, they completely exceeded our expectations. They are a family-run business with multiple DJs, and they assign a DJ based on your music preferences and overall vibe. We provided a list of songs and general direction for the evening, and they followed it perfectly. The dance floor was packed the entire night. For any songs they didn't have available, they were flexible and allowed us to provide a USB, which ensured everything we wanted could still be played. They were also very attentive during key moments--when we shortened our first dance and mother-son dance, etc,, they picked up on it immediately and adjusted the music seamlessly. The DJ also added in songs that matched our taste without us even requesting them, which showed a great ability to read the crowd. Transitions between songs were smooth, and they did an excellent job of maintaining energy and flow throughout the night. We also had them make a couple of announcements, and everything was clear and easy for guests to hear. Overall, they delivered exactly the experience we were hoping for and helped create an incredible atmosphere for our wedding.

What happened to us: social: started at 8pm they didn't arrive until 8:30 saying their truck broke down. They also said they would be there in afternoon to set up and never showed up. Wedding: we stupidly signed a contract to use them for wedding and social. At wedding one hour late. No cocktail hour music and my family was scrambling to find some sort of sound system then the guy finally showed up. Dj looked like he just rolled out of bed wearing jeans and r wrinkled tshirt. He drank our booze at the bar without our knowledge and kept running outside to his van not sure why. Was lifting his shirt up to expose his chest and tried to pick up guests. He started a fight with a guest. He tried to drive home drunk and crashed his van in a ditch. I had to call about twenty times to get ahold of the manager he would never return calls and he was non apologetic and said he had to hear the dj's side of the story first. Offered no apology or discount . It was almost a scene out of a movie the most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered.
