Went here because of the PA ice cream trail, the ice cream here is average at best..... extremely bland and full of extra unneeded ingredients, very disappointing. The flavored milk was better, wondering why the ice cream doesn't taste as good. We had lunch here and that is the only reason I am giving it three stars. Love this little store I get the soup bones here for my dog and the amazing different flavored milks! The vanilla milk and raspberry milk are my favs! They have all different kinds depending on what's in season. They have really good picnicy type food like homemade coleslaw homemade beans homemade macaroni salad and potato salad and excellent rice pudding. Great ice cream, not the widest selection or the most generous of mix-ins but it's creamy and full of flavor. The small store has lots of unique snacks and crafts as well as your day to day food essentials. They have a very friendly staff, and if you have any questions about their products they will answer your question. This place is great to teach kids where food comes from naturally. I had recommended a lot of people to go to Crystal spring farms for milk for the past year. I always buy there flavor milks and ice cream. They are scammers, i learned today. I got 3 different milks. One came bad and i told the owner and she said she couldn't refund me the money or replace it because there bottles don't have expiration date. Which they should. When i told her i got it last week. She said that i couldn't prove it when i have a receipt. Then she tried to say go buy a thermometer to make sure the fridge is good. The fridge is not broken. The other milks are fine except the strawberry milk. Is sour and has white chunks. She said you got away with the other milks your fridge is broken. Worse service. This charming dairy has wonderful surprises around every corner, just like my second wife who cheated on me with my brothers. But in this case the surprises are good! The hot food you can eat on premises like yummy hotdogs and hamburger BBQ give you the home made warm and cozy feels. But the ice cream is the bees knees. The first time I ever tasted it I couldn't stop myself from screaming the "F word" at the top of my lungs. And for me that is no small feat as I have cystic fibrosis. It was tasty, but perhaps it was older because it crunched a bit thanks to ice crystals. The parlor is in a small store right on the edge of the farm. In fact, Google Maps took us right through the farm! Ice cream was tasty but none of the 17 flavors were adventurous. Service was very quick and courteous. read more

One word will describe this place: mediocre. We purchased 2 sandwiches, 2 bowls of soup, and 2 ice cream treats, a sundae and milkshake. The sandwiches were fine, nothing great. Had to put on our own condiments. Soup was heated in the microwave in styrofoam cups. I got the chicken soup, it was bland and needed a lot of salt and pepper. I also like crackers with my soup but none were given. The milkshake was very thin but tasted ok, you order your milkshake by scoops of ice cream. Perhaps I needed to pay for an additional scoop of ice cream. The sundae was ok. Both ice cream treats used malt, that could have been the problem. Prices for the sandwiches were good but the ice cream prices seemed high. read more

Awesome ice cream but their hours of operation leave something to be considered. Also they started selling their ice cream cones by weight which is a bit unconventional. I love their milk and ice cream. The are literally right down the road from me and I would love to patronize them more if it wasn't for their limited hours and unconventional business practices. This place is awesome. It's an ice cream stand and farm store. You can lick a cone while looking directly at the cows that created the milk - you can't get any fresher than that! Milk prices are a little high - but the quality and flavor selection are unsurpassed. My favorite is the raspberry milk that has a unique lavender color to it. We ventured here after a fun day at Lehigh Valley Zoo for ice cream. Driving up, my daughters loved seeing the cows in the pasture. Inside, it's a little grocery store with a little cafe and ice cream counter. They had (approx) 2 dozen different homemade ice creams. The girl let us sample a few before taking our orders. The flavors we tried were all absolutely delicious and fresh. Totally worth every single calorie! We will stop here again whenever we are in the area! read more

I live about 2 minutes from this place and their milk is the freshest I've ever tasted. Grocery store milk can't compare. You can taste the difference. Their Ice cream on the other hand is not good.
