The drink itself was old-fashioned and containing neither egg nor cream but was a fizzy chocolate drink. The woman behind the counter had to get another employee to make it. It must not be commonly ordered, but it was really unique to get outside of old timey NYC. The prices were reasonable, and they had a lot of ice cream options. It's a unique business based on the original shop, so it was more than the treat but a bit of an experience.

I do believe they are open seasonally. Outdoor fire pits for you to sit at while you eat your ice cream, so, even if it's a little cold or feeling like fall weather, you could be warm and eat cold ice cream at the same time and be completely happy. My wife has food, allergies, and they went overboard, accommodating her every request. I had the clam chowder which was a 10 followed by a roast beef sandwich, another 10, followed by strawberry ice cream, hot fudge with bananas and whipped cream. Absolutely wonderful. It was a little slow, but the wait wasn't too bad. The menu was a bit intimidating due to its size and the large number of flavors. Some items didn't have descriptions as well, so we just went for normal scoops of ice cream. Overall, we were a bit underwhelmed. The scoop sizes were on the smaller size and the ice cream was very sweet. A few of us also thought something tasted a bit off. It wasn't horrible, but it was definitely a one and done experience for me.

I am so appreciative that Windy Brow has a vegan cheese option, so I could be included! I got the Margherita pizza and subbed vegan cheese. The crust and dough were incredible - so fluffy, perfectly crispy, amazing thick crust. The vegan cheese was also great, and the sauce too. Just a perfect pizza. My dad got a regular Margherita and loved it, and my mom got the fungi pizza with mushrooms and was raving about it. My boyfriend got the pig and fig and (of course) loved it as well. We all raved to each other about how amazing everything was. For a farm to do something like this when they don't need to, shows that they love what they do! I got the vegan dark chocolate sea salt (literally incredible, perfect consistency, I love hard ice cream so this was amazing), my boyfriend got Madagascar vanilla and said it was a perfect classic vanilla, my dad said the cherry vanilla was the best he's ever had, and my mom who doesn't love ice cream got the lemon blueberry butter cake and was raving about it. The guy over there was really nice and apologetic even though he didn't need to be.
