I have a friend that likes gemstones. I wanted to get her a Christmas present but I only know a little, not enough about what each stone is supposed to do. After a terrible experience somewhere else I decided to try Crystal Vision based on the fact that they were the only gem and crystal store I could find open on a Sunday and anticipating a busy week I just wanted to wrap up my holiday shopping. Crystal Vision is located in a cute little cottage. According to their Facebook page Crystal Vision has been in business for 28 years and is owned by Myrna Farbiash, a traditional Reiki master. When I tried the door it was locked. Someone quickly came over and opened it for me. I was kindly informed that they prefer people to schedule appointments to come in but they would allow me as a walk in. So if you are coming over best to make an appointment. As soon as I walked in I was hit with the overwhelming smell of incense. Smoky and heavy it was not my thing. What I did like was they had nice hand written explanations written next to to the stones so you knew what characteristics each stone can bring out if you believe in that kind of thing. I am for covering all my bets. Another thing I liked was that prices were clearly marked on every item so no guessing what anything cost. You can purchase gemstones and crystals at all different price points, books, incense, candles, tarot cards, decorative figures, and jewelry. I considered the flower agate that is for reaching your full potential, protection from self doubt, and ignites your passion to pursue your dreams. Instead I picked a necklace that contains several gemstones which I hope she will like. As I shopped I overheard several conversations that showed they were serious and knowledgeable. One lady was there to find a stone that came to her in a dream. They didn't have what she wanted but they offered to take her phone number so that they could call her when it came in. The best gem and mineral store I have been ever been in is the Lost Mines of Atlantis in Sebring. Their inventory dwarfs Crystal Vision but it is over 2 hours away. For a local shop they seem to have a pretty good selection that can meet most peoples needs. I only dabble in gems and minerals mostly because they are pretty but Crystal Vision can cater to the most knowledgeable customer. PS my friend loved her necklace! read more

This is the first and only crystal shop I've been in, but since it appears that they do spells around the large star painted on the floor, I will not be leaving a negative review! I came here for a few specific things, and they had them. They have a whole shelf of small crystals that have different powers. There are all sorts of different incense sticks to choose from with different qualities. They have wands, smudge sticks, large crystals for other purposes, and all sorts of other things I have no idea about. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was nice and seemed happy and chill. The location offers different events and things, so if you are into that scene, you may enjoy one of these experiences. I must admit, I know nothing about all of this stuff. You walk into this small house-looking building, into a large room with a hallway. down the hallway, there are rooms with random people sitting in them. I have no idea what goes on in those rooms, but I did not want to ask. Once you continue on, you will enter a large rooms with all of the wares. This place just had a sort of magical feeling to it. From the powerful stones, crystals, wands, books, and other random goods, I was having a completely new experience. It also caught me off guard with the star on the floor and large pyramid in the center of the room. Again, I have nothing negative to say, it was all just peculiar to me. The vibes were off. So I was in the area handling Saturday morning errands when cousin asks me to grab her some incenses and sage. Before I can even ask Siri to help I see this small store in the corner on my left. I do a u turn and enter a very small packed parking. I did a poor parking job and enter the place. All over I see stickers "they love us on Yelp." I enter the store and people are moving. Energy is moving. I look around and a small children's class seems to be having a discussion. I'm just lost in the decor. Until I feel eyes on me. I look around and see this woman behind the counters just staring at me. I walk around some more and this person's eyes never seem to blink. I check out crystal and the vibes just feeling more violent? That ish I like was hella expensive. Like serious mark up! But most items were about the same in price everywhere else. I'm starring at it price because crazy eyed chick is making me feel like I should run out the store. Anyway there's this guy also behind there helping patrons. I go directly to him and tell him what I'm looking for even though he already is crowded with patrons and to my surprise my cousin is already in the store looking at items as well. Sage was needed to cleanse a new home. She's all knee deep in conversation with the guy that everyone seems to crowd. While I'm avoiding scary eyes. I consider myself pretty level headed but there's definitely something - Star Wars Dark Force Lightsaber ish going on between the man and woman at the store. Or just within that woman. I was drawn to a post on a few weeks ago on Facebook about the Ministry Program here at the store (Crystal Vision). For years I have been working towards finding a place that I could take that course. i came into the store and was assisted by Alex and Yasmin. They were very informative and helpful! The requirement was to take the Reiki 1. Though I took that course before with another school I choice to take the class again. It was a very powerful experience. I found Lorraine and Karen to be a very powerful dynamic. They are very different and at the same time perfectly alignEd! They worked very well together creating a Unique and comprehensive experience. Lorraine is a unique spirit in her ability to bring out exactly what's going on underneath the surface and to really take you to somewhere you didn't imagine going. Yet can respect the boundary and knows where to stop and respect the person and their path! Karen is organizEd and light hearted. She can clarify any question in a simple and clear way that makes it easy to understand. They both were very knowledgeable about Reiki and their dedication was felt through the whole class! The staff is all totally knowledgeable, and if they don't know the answer to a specific question, they will do their best to find out. A word to the wise: visit Crystal Vision with time to spare, as they have a small staff and want to pay special attention to everyone who walks through the door. Entering this store is quite strange since the main room is past a foyer area where no one greets you. When you finally do happen upon the main room, you may wonder just where to start your wander as the interior contains a myriad of products. There are tables and bookcases and shelves and glass jewelry cases full of items, items tacked upon the walls and even items in cases upon the floor. While this initial description might delight one interested in spending hours in just one store, I was less than amused. Thankfully, upon further inspection, the store appeared to be organized by stones and crystals, jewelry, books and spiritual items. After eyeballing rocks and bracelets and pendants and rings galore, I found a couple of items I wanted and checked out. The lady was pleasant enough, but I found out later on that she had neither offered me a points reward card nor did she inform me of their weekly meditation and reiki classes, both of which I was made cognizant when my sister checked out with a different lady. I would say that this is a specialty store meant for those already familiar with stones and crystals, meditation and reiki. I will say that their store can use some TLC. The stones in their cases looked a little sad from getting roved over by curious hands and some informational cards just looked too old. They may also need to rethink the amount of items they keep in stock because I accidentally kicked a couple of cases of rocks and crystals that were on the floor while perusing the shelves, and I don't consider myself to be particularly clumsy. I think that if you've never been to a crystal store before and you went to this one, you will either be hooked or never want to go to one again. It may be the meditation music playing or the heavy incense burning and smoking or the $120 mala bead necklace. It may be the mysterious guy sitting beneath a copper-wire pyramid or the curiosity of knowing whether that was an employee or a random stranger talking to you about bloodstones. It may be the cute, slow-walking cat that they feed chicken to outside. I guess you'll find out if you visit. read more

There are books, candles, jewelry, gems, stones, etc etc. The staff is very helpful and sweet, they also hold many workshops and events with lots of fun stuff going on. Some of the events are a bit silly with psychics and "spirit guides", but if you ignore their hokey mumbo jumbo and just find the good stuff on offer, this is an excellent shop! read more

First time visiting the shop. Given all the positive reviews and the pics online, I was excited to go. Upon entry, a lady with brunette hair - who appeared to work there - walked right past me....no greeting no 'how may I help you?'...nothing....and....I could feel her 'surveillance' of me as I shopped....weird. My purpose was to find some crystals/semi precious stones and whatever else caught my eye. I was completely underwhelmed with the selection of stones...it appears they are low on inventory on quite a few stones. I expected this great robust selection of items...this was not the case; inventory seemed sparse for everything actually. There wasn't a whole lot to peruse honestly. There was a very nice young lady at the cash register - that was the only real positive aside from the sunstone bracelet I purchased. Will likely not return - sad to say. read more
