John and Patrick are so friendly and helped my friend and I understand different properties of stones and how they can be combined together for an elevated experience. I was so happy to find some new pieces to add into my collection and work with. Their shop has a welcoming ambiance with soft music and an aroma that is so soothing. I was referred here by my Lovely Reiki healer. After a session with her I decided to stop by to browse. I was in a bit of a headspace from working on healing some deep stuff earlier. But felt so much calmness and peace when entering the store. As an introvert I find it stressful to shop in store, fearing that i'll be bombarded with chit chat and coerced into buying something. But that wasn't the case here. I was the only one in the ship for most of the time and I felt at ease to browse quietly. The person who rang up my order was so very kind and he helped teach me how to use the stones. They also was kind enough to offer a bit of reiki healing as well with some of the crystals he had. As this was happening I began to cry. They were so gentle with me, and encouraged me to let just let it out. The two men working there the day I called were pleasant on the phone. when I came in after checking the status of Jade stones I wanted, it was incredibly busy but they did their due diligence to sage the stones customers wanted and carefully wrap purchased items. You can tell they really care. I was in a bit of a rush so I quickly picked out a stone I thought looked like a cicada. I tried to kindly ask to pay in cash.... I didn't want to rush the person before me but I felt I had limited time. With a quick explanation, They made sure I was quickly on my way so I could have the jade stone for my grandmother upon her death. Based on our Chinese culture, the soul wonders after the physical body ceases to function. Jade stones, when placed in loved ones body orifices after passing, go with them giving their soul eternal life. The cicada symbolizes reincarnation. HERE IS ANOTHER IDEA, BE A BUSINESS OWNER WITH INTEGRITY. How about that? No? Me as a consumer who works for my money has a right to warn others of your ill treatment of your customer so that others do not fall into this type of trap and lack of accountability when it comes to lost packages. I have given you plenty of opportunities to resolve the issue, hence the email inquiries, team, which your team was VERY quick to respond with it is not your issue. If you like I am MORE than happy to share the screenshots of our correspondence. Why wouldn't I come to platforms such as Yelp to warn others of this incident? So you cheat your customer our of a fair resolution of an issue then on top of it, blame your customer because they voiced their situation? This is an update to response below, lets see how can you do better in this situation: 1. Don't be hostile towards your customer who inquires about a missing package 2. Actually provide useful resolution as clearly the package was NOT delivered to an actual address as it was delivered to a zip code? 3. I find it extremely hard to believe that this would be the FIRST time you as a shop experience a lost package in the mail, the fact that you have nothing other than contact USPS and they should make good for lost package, is your solution to your customer? That says quit a bit of your business practice. Again I stand by my comment I strongly advise anyone to avoid any kind of online business with this shop to avoid being in similar situation PLEASE DO NOT EVER PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER WITH THIS PLACE. One of the worse online purchase experience. I went on a whim and recently placed an online order with them for Moldavite crystal ($180 VALUE), the tracking they sent had a delivery address of a ZIP CODE vs. an actual address. When I reached out to resolve this issue, I'll admit, Linda was prompt in her response rate at first but since the initial response, my situation was met with nothing but hostility. It is a clear cut situation that this has been missed delivered, as tracking information ALWAYS shows the delivered address as opposed to zip code, This was their response when asked about the delivery (copied straight from their email correspondence). "It would have been delivered to the address on the label which seems straight forward to me." AND when I asked for next steps in this situation, the below is their response. In other words, not our problem. "As I mentioned, I filled out a missing package report on your behalf, perhaps you should fill one out on your end as well. USPS has 1-2 business day response time for these inquires. And as it relates to a mis-delivered package, that is on USPS to make good." DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE. read more

I am not sure why some people had a negative experience at this amazing shop, because I had nothing but a pleasant time at Crystal Way. The staff were very welcoming and wrapped everything I bought carefully. They definitely have the widest selection of crystals that I've seen in SF, and if you are looking for a variety of shapes and sizes you are in luck. For crystal newbies like myself they have descriptions all around the store that include names and healing properties. All items are price tagged clearly so you don't need to keep asking how much something is. Employees aren't the friendliest if you don't look like the average San Franciscan with disposable income, they didn't even greet me upon entry. Kinda disappointing since places like this are supposed to be about positive vibes and good energy. Anyway doesn't matter, won't return. I did spend $40 on some candles and a couple stones, kind of a lot for what I got but I didn't know I would be able to, find the candles elsewhere so I splurged. Turns out they were Way cheaper at SageScarlet Herb Co. With better service as well. But my all time favorite shop in SF is The Love of Ganesha on Haight, best price in town and Noot is a gem herself l, so kind and always giving discounts. Kristen was extremely helpful and I found just the right amulet for my nephew. It's a crystal shop, so entering the door you feel at peace. I can dream of owning some of the masterpieces! The owner was helpful too and almost every stone comes in all sizes and shapes so you can go BIG or small fitting your budget. Once in a while I wander in here just to feel the energy because it's a little gem-heaven in this crazy-big city of ours. I also understand there are some healers here and from the looks of the other reviews I would like to come and try out their services. I would recommend coming in for a visit and see what stone you gravitate to. Great little store in the Castro district. We stumbled upon this store while walking around. We were feeling sad after the election, so we decided to pop in here for some crystal healing. I'm an Aquarius, so amethyst is my birthstone. I've always wanted to get a birthstone ring, so I went and checked out their display. I told my friend that I haven't been able to sleep well, and I read that Amethyst has healing powers to help with physical ailments, nervous systems, emotional issues, and in Energy Healing and Chakra balancing. I felt inclined to write an update from my first session with John Mullin. It's been over 3 months since I met him and I am still very happy to express how amazing he is! (Updated Jan 1st 2009) After a few months of no ring, Gina called and they finally have the correct one and she was very sorry for the mistakes. I am still not thrilled with the fact I had to keep calling and no one took the time to call us, more so because it was our wedding rings on the line. but just about 3 months later I am going to pick up the ring and I need to let the experience go and hopefully have a long relationship with a store I loved before all this had happened. Well the love affair with Crystal Way is over, I got my ring and its the wrong one same style but we now have wedding rings that do not match. Me and my partner went in there tonight and showed the woman that works there were were told "sorry" maybe they will try to get another one (I waited almost 2 months for this one) and the best part of it all was when we left she said "congrats on getting married" LOL wedding was fine getting the correct ring made it sad, and now will have to live with non matching rings without as much as a discount or a real effort of staff besides my calling them. if your going to buy rings or anything that you want to be for a special occasion please shop at another store. That said, there was a great selection of crystals and gems, but they are on pricy side and I felt more like I was in a jewelry store than a alternative store. I must say that I hold stores that advertise psychics to a high standard, because so many people who call themselves psychics are not in-tuned enough to charge money for their services. I strongly believe in psychics and have had my own wonderful and amazing experiences though. These guys are amazing and knowledgeable. I've been going through a tough time with a breakup and they really helped me find the right crystals. At one point one of the gentlemen working who I believe is one of the crystal healers tapped me on the shoulder and said, "can you please hold this crystal and close your eyes and breathe in and out" and I held it and did and I instantly started feeling intense energy moving up my arms and warmth penetrating my heart over and over again. I opened my eyes and he smiled and said he felt like this crystal was for me. He didn't want to seem like a salesman and didn't say I had to buy it, that there were smaller and cheaper ones (it was big and $16) but I bought it and I just love my crystals. This review is strictly concerned with my Tarot experience with Louise Rodd, who is associated with Crystal Way, according to their website. Louise came to a party in Oakland where astrology and tarot readings were offered. She performed only the tarot readings, and I was pleased with my session. It was brief, naturally. I was to think of a topic that would influence the cards, give them a shuffle, and she dealt. Just about everything she said was on the mark, and gave me a feeling or reassurance, which is odd considering I am a non-believer. Not so odd, maybe, because we always want to hear people tell us that we can succeed, don't we? I say it was impressive, because I know what she said to someone else, which was completely different from me, yet perfect for her. So Louise is clearly proficient in reading someone's face, or sizing up someone in front of her, and successfully divining what they are there for. There were two brief moments where she went astray, and based on how quickly those moments passed, I guess that my lousy poker face was her clue. For example, cards telling her about my creativity, when I have none. It's inherently a self-absorbed activity, and it left me thinking about myself and my job (my chosen topic) for a while afterwords, so again I say, she was a success for me. read more
