Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience We enrolled our child in this school based on very specific promises: a low student-to-teacher ratio (two teachers for every ten students), qualified early childhood educators, consistent staffing, freshly prepared meals and snacks, and support with developmental milestones such as potty training. Unfortunately, none of these promises have been fulfilled. Staffing has been a constant issue. The promised ratio is routinely ignored, and there is rarely any consistency in caregivers. Teachers rotate constantly, and on several occasions the individuals filling in were not teachers at all, but maintenance or housekeeping staff. When asked directly, several attendants confirmed they do not have early childhood development credentials. This level of turnover and lack of qualification is deeply concerning. While I have met some team members who are caring and well-intentioned, positive attitudes cannot compensate for systemic issues and unmet commitments. At the cost charged, parents deserve reliability and transparency, and sadly this school has not delivered that. For this reason, I no longer feel comfortable entrusting my child's care here. Despite several months of attendance, there has been no observable progress in learning or potty training. There is no structure, curriculum, or evidence of intentional teaching. The food offering was another major misrepresentation. We were told meals and snacks would be freshly prepared; instead, children are regularly served prepackaged food. Cleanliness and supervision are the most alarming aspects. The facility often smells strongly of feces. On multiple occasions, we entered classrooms to find babies crying and clearly in need of diaper changes, with no staff attending to them. In one particularly disturbing instance, a soiled diaper appeared to have been left over an entire weekend, resulting in an overpowering odor. During the second week of January, I formally communicated my deep disappointment and my intention to remove my son from the school effective in February. I was informed that a 30-day notice was required. Even so, the concerns that led to this decision were never addressed or corrected. When enrolling my son in a new school and explaining our negative experience and clear expectations for quality and care, the very first question we were asked was: "Is it Crème de la Crème?" That alone speaks volumes. Crème de la Crème's reputation precedes them, and it is clear that we are not the only parents who have reached this conclusion. Other parents have already made the decision to remove their children from the school. This school is expensive, and parents are sold a vision of high-quality care, professionalism, and nurturing attention. What we experienced was the opposite: chronic understaffing, unqualified caregivers, serious hygiene deficiencies, and completely unmet developmental needs. I truly wanted this school to work. Instead, it has become an extremely costly disappointment, and I strongly urge other parents to thoroughly research and ask very specific questions before enrolling their children. read more

I am deeply disappointed and concerned about the leadership and staff at Crème de la Crème Sugarloaf, particularly under Director Stacey Nicholson. Seven years ago, under different leadership and teachers, my son attended this school and received an excellent educational foundation that helped him excel and enter his school's gifted program. Based on that positive experience, I enrolled my 2-year-old daughter, expecting the same quality of care and education. Regrettably, my daughter's experience has been very different. Since starting seven months ago in January 2025, she has shown little academic progress and cannot count past ten or recite the alphabet beyond "E." Essential parts of the curriculum, including art and music, have been paused due to high staff turnover caused by what I was told is a toxic and hostile environment under the current leadership team: Stacey Nicholson, Dawn Hinton, and Ashley Reyes. My daughter was often upset and scared of certain teachers. A surprise visit on August 6 revealed she was distressed. Following this, I received credible reports from staff that my daughter was called "annoying" by Clarissa Paez-Collado. I was sent a screenshot of a text sent by Ms. Paez-Collado--shared by another teacher--showing her temperament after I discreetly dropped by to check on my daughter. I tried uploading the screenshot but it may go against yelp policy to attach. Therefore, the text message expressed her anger towards parents checking in but not checking out their child. She used derogatory verbiage against me--making the other teacher very uncomfortable. Following that, a disturbing video was also shared, showing another teacher, Sierra Springer, aggressively restraining a special-needs child. Despite reporting these incidents to the director, the response was inadequate, with minimal disciplinary action taken and no notification to authorities. I was disheartened viewing the video and could only imagine what my very own daughter has endured. I was informed Ms. Springer yells at the children, including my daughter, and physically mishandles them. Staff who raise concerns face retaliation, while those who mistreat children remain protected. After a meeting with all three directors, my daughter was unenrolled, and the blame was unfairly placed on the whistleblowing teacher, who has since taken a leave of absence due to the pressure. This toxic environment has harmed my daughter and other children in their care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Crème de la Crème Sugarloaf under its current leadership to any family seeking a safe and supportive learning environment. read more

My son is in the pre-k program or creme prep here. I love having the app where I could text his teacher, Ms. Johana, any time I need and see updates about my son throughout the day. The picture updates are so cute! I think it's great that they have a rotation schedule and the kids are always doing something new every 30 minutes because my son loses interest easily. My son brings home different stuff that he does each day and I love seeing what he's been working on. From registration to now, everything was just so smooth, easy, and hassle free. The staff is friendly, professional, and addresses any concern quickly. They have so much to offer at this school, it's definitely worth a tour if anyone is looking for a good preschool for their kids. read more

I was thinking if I should post this or not....but finally decided that I should let ppl know what experience I had with this school and hopefully this post would benefit anyone reading this..... I enrolled my daughter to Creme when she was around 19 months old..... she was there only for a month.....and below is the list of reasons y I took her out.... - her class teacher told me that I should give her less love at home so she doesn't expect too much at school. - she had 4 to 5 teachers that she was swapped around with within 1 month that she was there. - one of her teacher always had an AirPods in her ears... I don't know what she was listening to... - one day when my husband and I went to pick her up one of her teacher said to us "your child will NEVER be ready for school" ...I then told her she is being swapped around with 4 to 5 teachers within a month she is here of course she won't be getting use to anyone yet. - her another class teacher told me that I should stop hugging her at home...because at school they won't be getting those hugs. - lastly but not the least...this morning my friend decided to take her daughter out too because she saw one the camera that the class teacher pinned a toddler down to the floor and then dragged him out of the room.... Just hearing that I felt I made a great decision not letting her stay in Crème. Those were enough reasons for me to take her out of this school ..... the school outlook might be good. But the teachers in there (atleast in the class that my daughter was in) was not good enough teachers... Being parents of an only child, we're picky about the daycare. After visiting and reviewing all the daycare facilities in the area, we've decided to choose Creme for its lesson plans, safety procedures, unparalleled cleanliness, top notch STEM program, professional management and friendly/amazing staffs. After 4 years we're saying goodbye to this wonderful place. We're grateful to all the cool friends and wonderful teachers who've helped him grow. We're blessed to have Creme as our son's first school to shape him into a lovely individual and prepare him into an even bigger adventure. Can't wait to return for summer camps. read more

WORST TERRIFYING TERRIBLE experience for me and my daughter ever!!!! I would not Send my Child to this scary place !!! I wrote a review last year and I sent my daughter last summer to this place for very short period of time and Me and my daughter still can not forget the frightening and scary experience we had here. She was treated terribly and she had to suffer from nightmares and has been traumatized. Director and staff here were the worst and they were very very rude and bully. All they want is money money money and they did not care about my daughter at all. I received lots of messages after posting my first review. I can't say enough about this school. My husband and I registered at another center at the beginning of my 3rd trimester and when we went for orientation we just didn't have a good feeling. We set up a tour at Creme and felt amazing from the start. We really connected with the director and felt assured that our 4 month old would be in great hands in the infant room. We adore all of the infant teachers. Our boy is developing so well. We get updates and pictures throughout the day. The parents' night outs have allowed us to get some much needed time knowing that our baby is in good hands. I can't say enough about everyone from the from the front office to the cleaning staff. My three year old son has been attending this location since he was an infant and we couldn't imagine being anywhere else! The teachers are attentive and loving and have set him up to be successful in the years to come. We fell in love with the school when we toured and it was one of the best decisions we have made. My daughter attended Creme. The facility is very nice - this pretty much won us over when we were touring different schools/daycares. However, once our child started attending the school, we realized that nice facilities are not the most important factor when choosing a school/daycare - The teachers/people who work there are what make a great school. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Most of the staff we encountered were nice but it's a corporate-run facility so you get that corporate feeling there (Katie was the exception - very nice front desk person). The director was inflexible and cared more about budget and sticking to corporate rules over what was actually best for the children. One example is that I wanted my child to bring in her own water bottle because they just use what comes right out of the tap. The director would not allow it and said if she allowed it for my child she would have to allow it for all the children in the class. So I offered to bring in purified water for all the children in the class - she still refused and said that using bottled water or having to keep up with personal water bottles would put too much of a burden on the teachers (what???). She realized how ridiculous that sounded (she admitted this in our conversation) and ultimately said that it wasn't in the budget to have purified water and that the government says tap water is safe so it must be. She finally said that she was the director and what she says goes. She said that other parents brought this up to her but it was a rule and she wouldn't deviate from it. I asked my mom-friends about this rule and they agreed it was ridiculous and stated that their children's daycares all allowed personal water bottles - they just made sure to label them with the child's name. My daughter ended up changing to three different classrooms within 3-4 months. They adhere strictly to age so no matter what your child's development level, he/she is put in a classroom based on age. The first week of class, I observed the class on their TV monitors and saw one of the teachers roughly handle my daughter - she basically dragged her across the room by her arm. My daughter was not misbehaving. Luckily this particular teacher was not my child's regular teacher and was just filling in that week. My daughter's last teacher did not seem caring - it appeared she just did basic duties and that's it. The little toilets in the room (toddlers) were always so messy/dirty. And most of the time when I picked my daughter up right after they used the bathroom, the teacher did not make sure that she had washed her hands!!! I had to wash her hands. Disturbing. We ultimately left because my daughter cried whenever we took her there and kept saying that her teacher was "scary". She liked the little friends she made there but whenever I brought up the teacher's name, she would say the teacher was scary and that she didn't like her. So we decided to leave the school and go to a different one. In summary, Creme has a nice facility but it is corporate-run so budget and rules are put first, over the welfare of the children. The fees are very expensive compared to other schools/daycares. Ultimately, if you are looking around, try to meet with your child's teachers and observe the class for a while to make sure it's a good fit for your child. We are glad we left! read more

Our child has attended Creme since 2012 and one of the things we appreciate is that Creme is consistently a positive experience. Our child has enjoyed all teachers and we have always been kept informed of changes in curriculum. The school is very clean and while Creme may be more expensive than some competitors we believe there is a lot of value for the education and support our child receives. Basically, we drop our child off in the morning and Creme does the rest ( provides all diapers, food for toddlers and up, crib sheets, etc). When we leave, we do not worry. It's been a great experience for us and helps us at night spend more time with our child since Creme provides everything for the next day. If we ever have questions, the team is very responsive. We're happy with Creme. read more

Crème de la Crème was one of the best decisions that we've made in our child's development. We've chosen Gwinnett county as a place to live and start a family. Diversity is a part of that and Crème de la Crème is a microcosm of our community. Our son surprises us with something new that he's learned everyday. The staff is very professional and the facility is spotless. My niece started at Crème de la Crème Sugarloaf when she was two years old and just graduated from the private Pre-K class. For their graduation ceremony she sang songs in English, Spanish, and Chinese! She can count to 100, write sentences, and even read! I wanted to love this school. I really did. And at first, my toddler had a great teacher and all was well with the exception of an issue I had not being able to provide my child fresh fruits and vegetables for snack instead of what the school offered, which was junk food crackers and the like (I had to get a doctor's note stating that fresh fruits and vegetables were a healthier alternative that is necessary for a toddler's growth and development before they would allow me to bring it). But other than that, my child was learning so much and happy everyday. Then a member of management left, and then so did several other teachers. My child had 5 different teachers in 5 months, and the Director of the school thinks it appropriate to just write it off like "that's the way it is". No, sorry, daycare may be a high turnover industry, but if you consider 1 year of tenure a long time, you have a significant problem. You are fooling yourself if you think "that's just the way it is". If I pay a premium for childcare, I expect to receive premium childcare. That includes a retention rate that is better than the rest of the industry (which, by the way, the director claims they ARE better than the rest of the industry, but could not back up her statement with any evidence of such a claim). After burning through 5 teachers, my child got to a point she was crying every morning, begging me to take her home, sobbing as I left. It wasn't always that way - she used to be excited when we pulled in the parking lot and would skip into school. After 3 months of every day crying, I KNEW something was wrong. I didn't have any hard evidence, but my child was not herself anymore, she just wasn't old enough to verbalize it. There is something very wrong at this school - so many children crying, crying every morning and afternoon when I pick my daughter up. Sobbing in the corner all alone, left by themselves crying on the potty, screaming after their mothers up against a glass window while the teachers just carry on with business as usual or tell them from afar "no use in crying, your mama's not coming, crying is not going to help" (direct quote overheard from a teacher, about the least empathetic you can be and inappropriate in my opinion). They are obsessed with policies, but what they fail to understand is that every child is different, and we aren't terminating employees here, we're raising up and taking care of children and sometimes they need a little extra support and love, not a cry it out and 'deal with it' session by themselves in the corner. The teachers are under qualified and clearly unhappy, there is no accountability for the out of control and unprofessional Director. As a high-level HR professional, I am appalled that an employee with such poor professionalism is in the position she is in. She cannot be trusted, and she will never own anything, she only makes excuse after excuse and puts all the blame on the child, parents, or industry if something is wrong. The facility is awesome...AWESOME. It's a shame they don't have the staff in it to complete the picture. Don't be fooled by the sparkly things...that's what you are paying for, not the exceptional care for your child. read more

My daughter has been attending Crème since she was 6mo old. I was a very protective parent and extremely cautious of my daughter's wellbeing, being a new parent and all. Now, my daughter is four, and I can say that sending her to Crème was the best decision which I made. The teachers are all very caring and thoughtful. They were mindful of my child's needs at every step. The facility is extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff is beyond exceptional. I have never had any issues with the Director, the faculty or any other member of their staff. They have all been overly accommodating, courteous and truly on the lookout for the best interest of their students. I have and would highly recommend Crème de la Crème to others! read more

As a former employee of this location, I know the true value of this facility. I've worked at a few daycares and this one, by far, is the best to work at and have your children at. The teachers (all of them) truly care for the children and take their jobs very seriously with nurturing and educating the children. The daycare itself is like Disney world. So not only is it educational, but it is a blast to come to work to everyday... And the children adore it too. We offered the best tools to allow the children to excel in everything they do. The director is a hardworking, caring woman and will do anything to ensure that everyone and every child is taken care of. I can't say enough great things about this place! After touring all of the area daycare centers big and small we decided to enroll our son in Creme. Not only was I impressed with the clean visually interesting facilities, the curriculum and employees make this place second to none. My son is two years old and knows how to count in Spanish and English. He loves learning, something that I know is reinforced at Creme. You can tell the teachers here really care about children and aren't just here because they need a job. My son loves and respects his teachers Ms.Toni and Ms. Gigi. The director, Ms. Alvarado maintains a professional and caring environment. We have peace of mind when dropping our precious cargo off at 'school' because we feel that he's getting much more than 'day care' he's getting an education in a nurturing environment. read more

My Son attended Creme De La Creme for past 7 months. I agree with Diane previously that the facility is very nice in looks and will win your heart at the tour. But when in reality, its all about number game with them. During the last 7 months, my son was continuously coming home with flu and runny nose for the first 4 months. They will not allow us to use the special wipes to clean the face because of some corporate stuff. Once he got better, the class was always over crowded with kids. They say that teacher to student ration is 1 to 6 but every time we drop or pick my son, the class will be over crowded and with one teacher. The director always argue that we are following the complete procedures. In the last 2 months, my son was bitten 6 times, scratch by other kids by 3 times on face. Had numerous bug bites during the school hours. Every time director have the same story that it is normal for this age in kids. I am not sure if all those 12 students are getting 7-8 accident reports in a month. I would definitely suggest to look for some other school. As this might look good but it definitely didn't prove to be what they promised at tour. read more

I'm not fond of this daycare. Potty training isn't going to happen until your child is between 3 and 4. You can do it yourself, but the daycare isn't going to support you until your child reaches their designated proper age. They adhere strictly to their curriculum. If your child has completed the curriculum and wants to learn more, they do not encourage it. They also stick to their rigid age groups for the classes and will keep your child in a class until that child reaches the designated proper age. So children are held in a holding pattern until designated age is obtained. This is very similar other daycares, except that creme is much more expensive. For the price, Creme is most definitely not worth it. The director will talk the talk, but ultimately they will follow the corporate curriculum exactly. This is probably due to the huge amount of turn over that recently occured. I would guess that 75% of the teachers were fired or quit recently. However, it does look nice. Its too bad the care doesn't match. read more
