Not worth what is being charged each week. It's a sad environment, dirty facility, and money is not well spent.

My wife and I have two boys (4 and 1) who have attended Primrose since they were 4 months old. We…read morehave looked at more expensive options and less expensive options and are convinced that Primrose is the right place for our boys. I simply could not disagree more with the other reviewer. The education and development of my boys have been very impressive. The 4yr old was potty trained in just over 2 years. He can read, write and even speak limited Spanish at just over 4yrs. With the limited amount of time my wife and I have with him I firmly believe Primrose is to thank. This is despite some teacher turnover that occurred after a large competitor moved in down the street and actively attempted to recruit away their staff last year. Why did my sons development continue with little relative impact? The curriculum. It simply works. At this age it's the strong controls over what, when and how our children are taught that allows Primrose to be so successful at educating our children. That's not to takeaway from the excellent staff whom we do appreciate. In addition to the education there is also the social development. Our children are not only academically intelligent - they are also polite, caring, social and resilient. Their emotional development appears to be well beyond that of others their age. As I said earlier - with the limited amount of time we get to spend with our boys - I trust Primrose to help develop them into successful students and socially responsible children - and they haven't let me down.

You can tell the teachers love what they do and the kids learn so much here. The cook on site is such a huge bonus. There are many day cares including our current one that requests all meals are pre-made by parents. The great thing about this place is that they create a culture like no other between parents, teachers, kids, staff! We miss it a ton!!!

We have been with Bright Beginnings since September of 2019 and we absolutely love them. They are…read moreso kind to my toddler. They are so personable and easy to communicate with. They have a music teacher that comes in every week for Early Childhood Music Classes! They are affordable, and we love that they are locally owned by women! Can't rave about Bright Beginnings enough!

My son has attend BBLC for the past 4 years and I wish I would have found them sooner. We initially…read morestarted out with a part time nanny and found BBLC through word of mouth referral. I was hesitant to enroll him as I lost my first son in 2008 and was nervous about everything with this baby. Here is what I can tell you about this Center, why we chose it in 2013 and why we're going to be sad to leave when he goes to school this fall: 1.) This is not a typical daycare, your kids are their children. These women will be substitute parents. They will love, snuggle, teach, redirect, and clam your child when you cannot be there. You will almost never walk in the door and not see a child hanging on one of the staff members. The kids love them and they love really genuinely love your kids. They will be honest with you and work with you to ensure the best for your child. 2.) The environment is bright and fun! The kids are exposed to tons of projects in many different mediums. They work on letters, numbers, science, and how the world works around them. They celebrate and recognize your children and holidays, even bringing in recognizable characters like Santa for Christmas. They do a lot of special events for the kids throughout the year and even have Ms. Jean every Friday with her musical instruments and songs! 3.) Preschoolers work on school skills. Desiree teaches kindergarten skills such as letters, numbers, counting, name writing, cutting, coloring, etc. My son was writing his name, mom, & dad by the time he was three and when he attended preschool he already knew everything they were teaching. They work a full curriculum to keep the children busy and engaged. 4.) The children go outside, have water days in the summer, take walks to the nearby park, celebrate Earth Day, and even do Yoga on occasion to relax before nap. 5.) They let your kids be kids and don't stifle your little ones personality however big or small it might be--they will embrace your little human for who they are. 6.) Lastly, cost. Information is not available online but you can set up a visit. Pricing is better than any daycare center in the city. Full time rate cannot be beat and is nearly comparable to even some higher end in home centers except it's not an in home. Another mention is that they do open at 6 and are usually only closed for major holidays which is great if you don't have a flexible work schedule. I would say to only avoid this place if you don't want your child to be completely spoiled and loved during the hours you can't be there because the owner will be like a second grandmother and the teachers like an aunt.

As an infant, moving infant, toddler, & 2 year old there had been regular activities & lesson plans covering science, basic math, sensory tables, ABCs, etc. There were quarterly conferences with the parents/guardians. About a year ago, multiple long time teachers left for other jobs & after this, the classrooms became overcrowded, unqualified people were hired, and lesson plans along with conferences ceased to exist. Our son came home multiple times angry, sad, & with bite marks. Despite asking for more information about what we could do to improve his life there or what seemed to be causing his big emotions, nothing changed & we were just told "this is normal behavior". The director promised to look into the lack of lesson plans & all they did was document the morning story time. The rest of the day was unstructured. Our son didn't want to go there anymore despite his friendships with his very good friends because there was no consistency with who was in charge in his room. There were different teachers & aides every day. When we decided to leave, we told him it was because he is a big kid now & big kids go to new schools. However, one of his teachers at Tutor Time told him he was leaving to go to a school "to teach him how to behave" 2 months ago, this location was under a DHS investigation for a restricted disciplinary act against a child. I also witnessed & reported a new teacher screaming at 4 month old infants. Despite this, she was kept there for a few more weeks before she left. Our rate was increased multiple times per year all in the name of being able to hire better people, however, untrained people were consistently hired instead. The bright spots that Tutor Time has going for them are both Miss Brittany's, Miss Laurel, Miss Grace, and Miss Alison. They are wonderful human beings

The staff is friendly, caring and they go out of their way when I've asked for switching days or an early drop-off. The teachers know all the kids, whether they are in their classroom or not and they all work really well together to take care of the kids' needs. There is an academic program also, so the kiddos get in some learning time as well as play. My daughter loves going and I love being able to relax knowing she is at such a great place!
