While most people on Labor Day Weekend are at the beach or attending a BBQ, I fell compelled to take some time to let people know my amazing experiences with the CSI Group team for over 20 years. CSI, what can I say? You take the stress out of doing our taxes every year. Today I went for my complimentary financial/retirement planning appointment at their Woodbridge location. I met with three amazing gentlemen Tony Pellicano, Victor Joseph & Dan Enoch. They sat down with me and went over my portfolio. I wish I had done this sooner. The CSI Group team at the Red Bank, NJ office are methodical in their approach and were professionals in filing our taxes. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the CSI Group's service and we highly recommend them. Basically the front office administrator (Dennis) entered our 2023 tax paperwork information in their computer program and then CSI's CPA, John Ciccarello, came into the office and provided quick and professional tax services and recommendations. This is the first time I brought my wife to their office to file our taxes jointly as we were filing separately for so many years based on our previous tax preparer's recommendation. We found out from CSI's CPA John that was the incorrect way to file and he provided us with sound advice for filing our taxes going forward. My wife also referred her nephew to file with CSI and brought his 2023 tax paperwork. CSI's CPA John was able to quickly set up an account for my wife's nephew and file his taxes with a refund. We've been having our taxes prepared by CSI for the past few years, and our experience with Jack and his team have been exceptional and extremely helpful with all of our concerns and questions we had during our retirement, which as you know, is a huge financial transition. I have not used them and would never since I am concerned about their deceptive direct mail marketing, via the Post Office. I'm signed up via DMA, not to get unsolicited marketing information via Postal Mail and i should not be getting unsolicited mail. But at least two years in a row, this firm, has sent to me, an envelope whose outside says " IMPORTANT YEAR END TAX INFORMATION ENCLOSED", a phrase used by legitimate banks, brokerage, firms etc to alert you to taxable earnings Statements. There is no return address on the envelope and inside is a bunch of advertisements for tax planning, estate planning , wills. etc. read more

Finally real competence! It was very tough for me to find a group that was the right size for me. I went to an older gentleman for years, but I did not feel comfortable that he was up to all the changes, especially as I had other questions regarding other financial and estate matters. CSI was the perfect fit, family business but all the qualifications you can think of, and a really attentive staff. I learned this family has been doing this for 3 generations, and it really shows in their passion while theyre giving you the advice. I'm a landlord with multiple accounts and let me tell you how Valuable they have been with my taxes and with all the questions I've had with divorce and the sale of my townhouse and pensions and so many questions about SSI also. Great experience with CSI. Decided to give them a call in a pinch after hearing that Bill Spadea from 101.5 uses them. Filing late this year due to paperwork coming in late.
