    Pretty good streaks and as many of the others have stated, you pick your protein and get unlimited sides (sorta like a reverse rodízio). This means there's a lot of food and you can probably skip the starters. The meat was very good but for the price I was a bit disappointed in the prime rib (it looked more like a bone-in ribeye cut to me). My wife's tenderloin cut was much tastier and half the price. Next time I'll probably go with one of the cheaper cuts. Overall still a very good meal and worth a visit!

    This was by far our favorite restaurant on a recent trip to Rio. The steaks were wonderfully cooked, large, and of a very high quality. We started with a few caipirinhas and the steak tartare as an appetizer. Both the drinks and the app was very good. We then ordered the Bisteca for two as our main course. The Bisteca is 900 g (2 lbs) of tenderloin and was amazing! We ordered it medium and it came out more medium-rare, which was fine with us. I was a little concerned they may cook their meet more the way argentenia is known for (overdone) but this was definately not the case. In addition to the amazing meat, there were about 8 side dishes that were unlimited and served rodizo style by waiters throughout the meal. Service was prompt and attentive without being overbearing. Our favorite sides were the seafood rice, purred potatoes, julienne vegetables. Prices were very reasonable for the area and much less than in a comparable US steakhouse given the favorable exchange rate.

    I wasn't sure if I wanted to go here and wait an hour for a table - but boy am I grateful that my husband insisted we go!! We put our name in with the hostess, were quoted 45mins-1 hour wait, we ended up exploring the neighborhood and having a few drinks, when we returned a little over an hour later and the hostess seated us promptly. This is a fun area to walk around and lots of options for pre-dinner drinks. The menu was pretty simple- there are salads and appetizers but all you really need to be happy and satisfied is; 1. pick a cut of steak they run about R$90-120 (a few other meat options like chicken, lamb and I think octopus--but why wouldn't you get a steak!?) 2. pick a sauce that is served on the side not on top of your meat (*or be clever like the table next to us and ask for all of the sauces on the side for the table*) and then 3. sit back and wait for the meal to happen! The side dishes all come with your main meat or if you want to order only sides (without meat) you can do so for R$76. The side dishes are so delicious and so much fun! It seems like they change frequently from what I have read previous reviewers say. So again; all you need to know is that there are a lot of them, they are served out of cast iron pans by waiters in the cutest French waiter uniforms that circulate around the restaurant, and you'll love them-there is something for everyone. Bom apetite!

    Steak cooked perfectly pink. Unique and delicious flavors...can pick up Rosemary. Try all side dishes if you have room on your plate. Very attentive service!

    Excellent meat (my fiance gets steak and I get salmon), great sides, and high quality service. It's 100% worth a visit!

    Nice environment, great food. I suggest Steak au poivre. Siders are refill. Expensive but fair. 5stars for sure.

    Awesome. Great service, wine and meat. Excellent small bistro. No reservations though. Good wine list, oysters, fiorentina, ceviche.

    This was a delightful and very upscale French dining experience at the Sheraton hotel in Rio…read more Reservations are a must and can be made on the hotel's website or through the concierge. They have only two seating times - 7:30pm or 8:30pm. The interior is gorgeous and extremely upscale, and since it's on the top floor the view is great. Our server was extremely kind and helpful and spoke enough English to manage the dining experience. He made us several excellent Caipirinhas - a classic Brazilian cocktail. The bread (not complimentary but we had to try it) was delicious and extremely fresh and came with several accompaniments. We also tried the grilled shrimp starter which was delicious and beautifully presented. A complimentary oyster amuse bouche was also presented. I do not generally like oysters, but this was really good. Extremely fresh with no seafood or briny taste at all. A pineapple palate cleanser was also offered during the meal and was wonderful and refreshing. I chose the beef and lamb Bourguignon entree. This was beautifully presented with some pieces of sliced lamb and a "mini beef Bourguignon" in a small pot which was absolutely delicious. Beef Bourguignon is complicated to make, but they did an amazing job here. We had the dessert sampler as well. Three miniature versions of their most popular desserts. My favorite was the apple tatin which featured fresh apples and a wonderful flakey shell. Perfect! Best of all, I was stunned at how inexpensive this meal was compared with what a comparable quality French restaurant such as Joel Robuchon might cost in the US. Truly an incredible value, and I highly recommend it!

Super professional and very polite and inviting. All the food was exceptional from the bread, shrimp appetizer, oyster amuse bouche, to the steaks and desserts. I never eat lamb or oysters and this was my first oyster and it was actually quite nice. The highlight got me was the tasting dessert with Apple Tatin, pistachio flakey dessert and chocolate hazelnuts. We even get a parting gift of chocolates to go. Looking forward to going back soon!

The menu is quite varied, but also incredibly consistent. And that is likely because Claude takes care of his staff. The guy who makes the Carbonara has been doing so since I first ate here 5 years ago, whereas other restaurants seem to have a different chef every month, no consistency and are out of business in 12-24 months.
