I immed. replaced the batteries in the remote, with no change. I unplugged everything and plugged it all back in with no change. The TV would turn on only to one channel, but would not respond to the Volume, Channel Change or On/Off Button. I dropped the widescreen, recent model flat TV off to Kellys and explained the symtoms and what I had tried. Andre told me he would take care of it. He charges $85 for the diagnosis and extra for parts needed. Okay. That sounded reasonable. I got a call from him the next day, telling me that the TV needed 2 parts that would need to be ordered for a total of two hundred and some dollars. As he was saying this, I got the feeling of the commercial where the car mechanic tells the woman that her "flux capacitor" needs replacing. I called my youngest son and he responded, "Mom, that just doesn't sound right! It doesn't make sense with the symptoms that you told me. If that part wasn't working, you wouldn't be able to turn the tv on. The remote just needs to be reprogrammed every 5-6 months." He talked to Andre who gave him a bunch of double-talk as to why those parts were bad. My kid told Andre he would pick up the tv immediately, which he did. He was charged $85 for a false diagnosis. He tried to give Andre a graceful "out", but Andre didn't take it. He stuck to his "flux capacitor" story and my kid brought my tv home. Andre had simply reprogrammed the remote (which is what my son said it needed) and now every other part of the tv was working fine. And has continued to be working with that simply remote programming. This shop should be put out of business. I would NEVER recommend someone who has the complete lack of integrity to smile at my face and knowing stab me in the back! Zero stars!!

As luck would have it it was 3 weeks out of warranty. I spent an hour on the phone with the manufacturer 's Tech Support troubleshooting and trying to restart it. I could hear Windows 10 coming back up but couldn't see a thing; not a glimmer, flicker or squiggle of light on the screen. The only physical support/repair offered was via mail to the vendor and then forwarding onto manufacturer for repair in 7-10 business days with an estimated cost of $510 + shipping, handling and insurance. Hell, I could buy a refurbished one for that without the additional hassles. I literally spent part of the night searching for a local repair guy. Called mid-morning, spent 15 minutes talking to Alex about my ill Zenbook and arrived at 2 possibilities and repair costs for each option if needed. I had an appointment for 2 PM and was out of there 45 minutes later for way less than $100 with a clean, WORKING Zenbook and a 60 day warranty. Alex knows his stuff, delivers AWESOME honest, good workmanship at a very reasonable cost without BS or the run around I got from the manufacturer. YES the Yelp reviews steered me to him!

I had a bit of misfortune and dropped my phone right on the screen, completely destroying it. Upon recommendation, I looked up the store and asked a question through Yelp on a Sunday morning. Thinking of regular business hours for most places, I was expecting a response by Monday sometime after the store was opened. Shelly responded to my question within 15 minutes. There was back and forth communication and she responded extremely fast. She was not working that day, but found they had my screen in stock and when they opened, Andrew would be expecting me. The reason I didn't give a 5 star review was because of the time it took to get my phone back. Andrew got my phone done that afternoon, but there was a malfunction with the screen and it didn't work completely. Andrew offered for me to take the phone and bring it back when they got another screen delivered, as that was the only screen for my phone they had. I left it at the store and Andrew said he would keep in touch. Andrew did a great job at keeping me in the loop with the process. There were some problems with getting a new screen in. When it finally arrived, Shelly personally took care of my phone and let me know as soon as it was done. When I went to pick it up, it was a great experience. Shelly is very personable and makes it a light-hearted experience. She apologized for the time it took to get my phone repaired and understood the frustrations that it caused. I have a work and personal phone so it wasn't the biggest inconvenience to me, but since the offer to get the phone and use it until the new screen came in was on the table, it wouldn't have been terrible. I had a 2018 Mac Mini T2 that was having issues with OS install. The technician Rich was able to…read moreperform twice a DFU reset successfully. However the Mac Mini would not accept the OS install. He determined that the fix would require a main board - logic board replacement. I chose not to fix the Mac Mini and will instead seek a M4. I am super impressed by Rich and the rest of the staff.
