Terrible customer service.
We purchased the system 10 years ago. The company recently came under new ownership. At the time of purchase, we were 'up sold' the new rechargeable collar, being told it has an life expectancy of 20-25 years (which their website still says). We charged it every 3-4 weeks as instructed. Last week our dog ran through the fence line for the first time ever and was attacked by a raccoon. No beep/no shock from the collar. We charged it, but it still won't work. Emailed the company on Friday, no response. Scheduled a service visit for Monday morning. Took the morning off, no call/no show. I called them, and they had no record of the visit. They reschedule me for Tuesday morning. Again, no call/no show. I called the office and they told me the tech was running late and was on his way. Never showed up. I called the office again, and was yelled at by the receptionist, who apparently thought I was another client! (So I wasn't the only one who was waiting for a tech to actually show up. ) Again, I was told they had no record of my scheduled visit. They rescheduled again for Wednesday morning. Another day off work for me! He showed up and tells me the collar is no good, and I need to buy a whole new setup for a discounted rate of $300. The collar is only halfway through its expected life expectancy, but the warranty is only good for 2 years! I will NOT be buying A new collar from them, as the system is compatible with most collars. I will NOT be using them ever again, and I will NOT refer them ever again (over the years, I have referred close to 20 new clients for them). These new owners are terrible.
