I LOVE this co-working space. I'm not at all good at working from home. I'm just not productive. Even during covid when I wasn't allowed in my work office I struggled to be productive. Over the years I have been at 3 co-working spaces in Pasadena and CTRL COLLECTIVE is far and away the best. Best location off of Arroyo. Best equipment -- good wifi and great quality computers in the event I need one. Most privacy when I need it for phone calls. Easy to use the printer when I need it as well. And Gia and the front desk staff are helpful and humane. I say humane because I can occasionally be a bit helpless and they are always very quick, kind, and helpful. Finally, the atmosphere is good and always work-friendly. A few years back I worked at a different coworking space in Pasadena and on weekends it would get very loud. Like, screaming kids loud. CTRL is really respectful and always helps me be productive. read more

Recently my co-workers and I rented out a meeting room here for our staff retreat (Colorado meeting room). This space is amazing! I love all the amenities they provided and the space is also very clean. If you're looking for a space to work at, this is your place! They offer classrooms, conference rooms, phone booths, offices and memberships. I believe they also allow dogs at this location since I heard one barking and saw food bowls on the 1st floor. I was informed there is a parking lot that you can park and pay $8 with a QR code inside the building. I couldn't find it, especially rushing to get there in the morning. Make sure you park at the right one or else you'll get a parking ticket! There is a small parking lot right next to the building for $15 all day and another parking structure across from the building, not sure how much. read more

Wow wow wow!!! LOVE this coworking space. It's very quiet and secure while clearly putting a great deal of effort and energy into maintaining and updating the equipment available on site. Whether you simply need access to the computer/desktop space or if you are looking for a group meeting room - CTRL has so much to offer, and it's incredibly conveniently located!! as a Pasadena resident, I often get frustrated with how far away parking lots are - and this has an affordable paid lot right next-door. Big fan of their soundproof spaces and their larger conference/rehearsal/lecture room. The easy access beverages and kitchen area is a massive bonus. I would definitely recommend this space to anyone looking for a new routine outside of their home, or even for someone traveling through the city. All the information I needed to set up my work station was presented and it was seamless to get started. Their platform to gain access was very easy to use. Space itself was nice. Well laid out, large tables, and lots of common space to grab a seat and work. I also enjoyed the autonomy of walking in the back/side with the app key and just getting going, which was great on days I waltzed in while on a call. Certain days did get super busy with people bringing in monitors and folks making a lot of cold calls, but altogether everyone was pretty respectful, but be forewarned that it does happen. CTRL staff was nice enough, but a lot of the attention to detail was lacking. Upon touring was told to park in their lot, and was sold the parking during my tour. Once I signed up and was planning my first day in, asked if they needed my plate numbers to get me registered and was then told it was an additional fee for parking. There is a city lot within walking distance, but one should plan for an added cost on top on way or another. I also was given a two month new member fee, which was appreciated. However, after those two months my account was "closed". No one from CTRL ever reached out to see if I wanted to continue with the space, inform me of a rate increase, etc. Just my access to the app key was disabled, and it wasn't until i went on my account one day to reserve a phone booth for a 30 minute call that I found out I was no longer a member. When I reached out, it was told the account was set to "auto end", even with no reach out, check in, or follow up on if i wanted to continue. Comment below says i shared i wasn't doing more than two months and that is false. I was in the search phase, but never said it was a two month thing. Hence the surprise when my account was closed. I also never shared coffee with any staff, not sure where that came from in the note on original review. With a little communication i likely would have stayed with CTRL even given some of the initial confusion, alas.. here we are and I'm elsewhere with a month to month agreement i control on my end. All in, CTRL is great for what it is. I'm sure with some companies just paying for their staff to be there, it's a no brainer. For someone not in that situation and someone who values personal communication and transparency, be forewarned going into it to ask questions and set yourself reminders to check in post-new member to ensure you stay active, even if you are visiting 2-3x/week! read more

I cannot recommend CTRL Collective enough!! The facilities are amazing from the coffee machine to the standing desks to the phone booths. The environment is open and inviting, especially with the incredible management (shoutout Gia, Tim, and Duke!!) making sure each member's experience is not only productive but also a positive one. The student discount is also a huge plus!!! I am able to take advantage of the productive space to progress in my online courses, from watching lectures to studying for exams. I've tried studying from home or at a coffee shop in the past and couldn't focus because of either too little or too much going on. CTRL Collective is great because you are surrounded by other individuals being productive (and some really cute dogs at times) and you are able to take a lunch break and chat with a new person or lock in with your headphones and get shit done. read more

My first time at this co-working space, and it was fantastic! Parked in the lot next door ($10/day) and met Gia at the front desk. She checked me in, asked if I needed a private booth for a couple calls, and showed me around. I loved the ambiance, and it had a great variety of people working there in various spots. Over the course of the day, I tried out several different workstations and all were great. Everyone was super friendly (had a nice chat with Tim), got some snacks, went across the street for Thai food at lunch, and chilled in the lounge while waiting for my pickup appointment. Gotta say they really need to expand, because this place was awesome. I wish there was one near my home area, as I would definitely choose this place over a coffee shop. Price was very reasonable, bathrooms clean, nice kitchen area, I mean, it was great. Although I was just a day sitter, this would be my first choice for a regular desk/office if I were freelancing. The space is clean and quiet and has lots of places to go to with comfortable seating. It has a mixture of a modern look with all the amenities and comfort of a cozy space as well. My group had wheelchair users in the group and Gia and the entire staff made it an accessible experience. One of the great features is the kitchen where you can make the best coffee and I love the pods for a bit of extra quietness if needed. It is a sensory room and I love that. I've been to CTRL collective a few times through DeskPass. I like the flexibility since I travel occasionally for work. In my last visit on May 12, I was greeted by Marilyn (or Marilee). She gave me a tour around the facility and shared with me their current promotion. I think CTRL collective is a prime location to co work. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The facility is clean and the members are nice. I like the industrial feel of the space. They have a automatic coffee/espresso machine. The milk/flavoring is powder. In my first cup, I had a huge clump of milk powder drop into my cup, that was kinda of gross. I had drank a quarter of my coffee before a clump had found it's way into my mouth. I went on a Thursday, so they put out snacks out around lunch time. The snacks included cookies and chips. Overall, I was able to stay productive at CTRL Collective and recommend the space if you're looking for an office space. read more

Wi-Fi always works great. Yesterday I was on video calls for 5 hours straight and had zero interruptions. Last and most important it's a wonderful place to bring your dog. They offered very affordable rates compared to other places while still offering a clean, modern environment. We were naturally concerned about technology and AV requirements and not disappointing our important speaker and guests. They had all standard cables and connections available and a very large display and high-quality speakers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have an adjacent paid parking lot. Booking online was easy. We would absolutely recommend them. read more

Nice staff and easy 24/7 building access and there's nice furniture but the place looks cheap. Annoying advertisements flash on fast food vending machines and unnecessary elevator music plays from one speaker on the ceiling. The Wi-Fi has deep packet inspection that blocks DNS and interferes with corporate VPNs. There aren't enough outlets for shared tables. The place is probably empty because of those reasons. If you need late access it's a cheap spot to work but you're better off working from one of the many cafes in the area during the day. read more

Great value for any independent business owner. And a free media room for photoshoot and filming! Kitchen is spotless and they have plenty of hand sanitizer. Safe,clean and inspiring. Only negative is its hidden. All the streets are one way so u may make a few loops searching for parking. The parking is not great. No Attached lot!!! A nice modern co-working space in downtown Pasadena. The owner (Tim) and staff (Gia) are friendly and easy to work with. They provided me with a tour and a free day of working before I signed up for their unlimited access plan ($300/month). They also offer onsite parking for $110/month in the AirGarage lot on Colorado, a pretty good rate for Old Town Pasadena. The space is modern (converted from an old warehouse). There's plenty of space - typical occupancy is around 30 people on weekdays, with maybe 100 seats available between desks, couches and tables. There's a coffee machine that makes Lattes & coffees, good wifi, and periodic social events (free bagel Mondays). You can take conference calls in phone booths or in the kitchen or one of the many couches. A great place for co-working overall! read more
