Reviewing as a person who used the open desk day pass option. I wanted to come here to do some quiet work, but unfortunately their quiet zone is right in front their large event room. There were people entering in and out of the room and making lots of noise. The only other area you can use is their common area that people typically eat their lunch and have a chat. Wish they let day pass users to use some of their empty conference rooms when they are not booked by people. If you are looking for a completely quiet environment, maybe a library is still better!

Gorgeous space. Well designed. Plenty of space and parking. Came in and met karizma and Aiden who were incredibly kind, efficient and helpful.

We had our baby shower/gender reveal here in their private room and couldn't be happier with their service! Kim was so nice and helped us through the process! I was looking for a space that provided tables and chairs for about 100ppl and I couldn't be happier. We were able to use the projector and microphone. All of our guests had an amazing time and so much fun. Thank you Kim and Onboard Coworking for allowing us to use the space, it was perfect!!!

What a pleasant surprise! A perfect place to have a private conference room, private office, a private phone booth for calls or work in a common area that has a coffee shop feel... a very large coffee shop feel. Plenty of amenities and different options to fit your work needs. A common kitchen area, beverages provided at the "honor" bar, you can work at a desk, on a table, or from a couch. If you need a white board, a single desk, multi desk or conference room, Onboard Coworking offers them all. The place is clean, open and plenty of natural light. The furniture is up to date and feels like home, a restaurant, or a coffee shop. The people who work here are friendly, there is plenty of parking, and they are flexible with requests within reason. The other members are courteous and considerate. I recommend this place and is worth requesting a tour and discover what's they have to offer.

We hosted our daughter's 2nd birthday here and it was great. They have different options to rent by the hour or for the entire day. We opted to rent the event space for the entire day so we didn't have to rush on decorating and setting up. The pricing is super affordable for what you are getting. Clean venue with AC. Working projector and speakers. I connected to the speakers via Bluetooth and played music off my phone. Clean bathrooms with multiple stalls. Lots of open space with natural light, which was great for pictures. Lots of parking available. They opened the doors for my guests to access directly from the parking lot. I had two vendors set up outside (taco vendor and shaved ice vendor); at the time of my event late afternoon, the sun was fully beaming. If you host your event here, remind your vendors to bring shade or they will be baking. We also rented a softplay area and it was great. Every contact I have had with the staff, from initial inquiry to final feedback, here has been great, no complaints. Super accommodating and helpful. I will definitely be hosting another event here.

My non-profit hosted the event training session here and it was a great space! They were super accommodating and friendly! The space is beautifully designed with all the necessary equipments you can think of. Highly recommended for anyone who needs an event space!

This review is way overdue. Life got ahead of me. I'm sorry, Emil and Lisa!…read more I had my daughter's quinceañera at El Palacio Hall on March 14, 2026. We hosted 175 guests. When we first started looking for venues, we had a few specific things in mind, and flexibility was one of them. On our first visit in March 2025, we met with Emil, the venue owner. He was very welcoming, friendly, family-oriented, and easy to work with. He answered all of my questions and was very transparent from day one. He never pressured us or made us feel obligated to choose everything the hall offered. All selections and packages were based on our budget and what we wanted to spend. When I walked into the venue, I was immediately attracted to the décor, high ceilings, and bar area. Everything was very clean, the white draping made the space feel even more open, and the floor plan was perfect. I knew I wouldn't have to do much. I did hire an outside vendor to help with the themed décor, but almost everything else, including the plating, was purchased through the venue. As the quinceañera date approached, we met the venue manager, Lisa. She became our go-to person for anything we needed. She was very attentive and made sure the event was a success and that everything looked beautiful on the big day. The day of the event, everything went very smoothly. We had a venue host who worked hand in hand with Lisa. I forgot his name, but he was very kind and helpful. I had many family members say, "This place is beautiful! I never knew this was here." No one had any issues with parking. The restrooms were well maintained throughout the event, the food was ready on time (we had the fajitas, beans, and rice which was very tasty), the serving staff was very efficient, and the air conditioning was blasting and felt great (the temperature that day was around 78-80 degrees). Every area of the venue was operating seamlessly. All-in-all I am very grateful to all the staff at El Palacio Hall because they helped make my daughter's quinceañera a success. I would definitely have another event there again.

We had about 80 people (including kids) at the event, and though it felt tight, at least the kids were able to hang outside to enjoy the bouncer. I rented the afternoon time frame, so we were given the venue from 2:30-9PM. The only thing that I found weird was that there was absolutely no attendant available at the end of the night. Overall, a decent place to rent a venue if you wanna DIY things yourself.

The territory is incredibly well maintained, with huge mature trees, beautiful flowers, fountains, mini waterfalls, and small ponds where you can see fish and turtles. There is also a lovely grassy area in the center where you can sit, relax, or have a small picnic. Geese walk freely around the gardens, and colorful parrots fly overhead, adding even more charm to the atmosphere. In April, the garden looks especially stunning -- the pergola and trees are in full bloom (I wish I remembered the names of those gorgeous flowers!), and the whole place feels alive and magical. Honestly, this garden is beautiful in any season of the year. You can come here with dogs, which is a big plus, but it's important to respect the property rules: pets must be on a leash, owners are responsible for cleanup, professional photography requires a permit, and activities like skateboarding, drinking alcohol, or organized sports events are not allowed. These rules help preserve the calm and cleanliness of the space. There is also a secondary school located on the property, which adds to the unique character of the place. Parking-wise, we were able to find free street parking nearby without any issues. This is a perfect spot to slow down, enjoy nature, and escape the city noise for a while. Highly recommended for a peaceful walk or a quiet moment surrounded by beauty.

It was 1982, I was five, and I vaguely believed that my cousin was a princess because her wedding dress resembled Princess Di's in my mind. The ceremony itself was in the (then new) Holy Cross Cathedral, which shares its parking lot with Bagramian Hall (the cathedral is also a prominent location in the movie Sideways). And then afterward, we walked up the cool weird gradual steps to this brand-new and gigantic hall. It was bigger and fancier than anything I had ever seen. That was the first of at least ten weddings I would attend here before I turned forty, and later, it hosted the memorial luncheons for various friends and family members, including those for my aunt, grandmother, and great aunt. It's also the first place I ever attended a wedding (another older cousin's) with more than 500 guests. I have so many fond memories of helping sweep up the shabash (money) that guests throw when people are dancing, and since I first came here as a five-year-old and never stopped returning, I grew up in a sense as an Armenian party-goer here. They did major renovations to the interior in the early 2010s, so it doesn't look as dated as it did even by the late '80s. I do miss some of the ridiculously tacky furnishings inside, especially the huge blocky railings and steps and the strange decorations behind what was originally where the head table was, before they moved it down by the dance floor, before they moved it back to its original location. Some of the renovations themselves are starting to look early-2000s dated as well, but it still looks nicer than it did when it first opened. The south wall used to be dominated by floor-to-ceiling windows with French doors. There were huge ugly curtains covering it most of the time, because of the sun, but it was really neat because you could walk out directly from the hall itself outside to a kind of concrete porch that had its own set of gradual long steps down to the cathedral. When they renovated the hall, they replaced the glass with a normal wall. It makes the hall look darker (during the day) and smaller, although it's the same size. As kids, we loved those doors, because people used to go outside to get a breath of fresh air or to smoke--although smoking was originally allowed inside the hall until the laws changed in the 1990s--and we kids would exit through those doors (if they weren't locked, which they often were) and reenter through the lobby, or vice versa. When I come here now, everything looks smaller, from the parking lot to the restrooms to the dance floor to the interior of the hall itself. Growing up has a way of changing a person's perspective, but there's still a little bit of wonder I have when I come here. I can remember generally where I sat at a bunch of different people's weddings, and there are a dozen stories I want to tell but won't. Although every event I've attended here has had some relationship to the affiliated cathedral and/or the Armenian community, I know that the hall also hosts New Year's Eve, birthday parties, bingo nights, banquets, and fundraisers. It's a very large space, and although it's modular in the sense that they can set up as few tables as you need and it can still look nice, it's probably not worth it unless you're expecting hundreds of guests. There's also a much smaller banquet room in the same building with its own separate entrance from the parking lot. It used to be called Toumajian Hall, but when I was here a couple weeks ago, the sign read TOUMAJIAN YOUTH CENTER, so I'm not sure whether it's still rentable outside of church-related events. I've been to hokujashes and birthday parties there; the two halls are connected physically through the kitchen, which both spaces share.

Inside a beautiful golf club, it has long been a local favorite. We have been coming back regularly ever since they resumed Sunday brunch service after the COVID shutdown, and it continues to deliver a satisfying, relaxed experience. Parking can be a bit tight when there's a special event like a wedding, since the buffet is arranged alongside the event space. Even though the venue isn't huge, the selection is surprisingly well rounded. You will find classic American brunch staples such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and even BBQ ribs, alongside Mexican dishes like green chile pork and menudo. There are also Chinese options, including favorites like beef with broccoli, giving the buffet a nice multicultural touch. One pleasant surprise is the quality of the chilled seafood bar. While the offerings are simple, typically snow crab legs and cocktail shrimp both are fresh, sweet, with a clean, satisfying texture that stands out compared to many hotel brunches. Made to order omelets and prime rib steak add another layer of value and ensure you can get something hot and customized. The champagne may not be top tier, but it's easy drinking and pairs well with the variety of food. A full beverage station with juices, coffee, and tea rounds things out nicely. After the meal, it's especially enjoyable to walk around the property, walk by the lake, and soak up the sunshine, it's the perfect way to digest and extend a leisurely Sunday morning.
