It was a warm, dry place to spend a night and reset after some long spring time miles. Price was very reasonable, the hostess was polite and prompt, and the room was great. I'm from Nevada, every amenity had a charge in the casino resorts. This place was no frills, but what you needed it had without excessive fees. Always leave these places better than you found them, so they stay in business to care for the next weary traveler. Loved the tiles shower.

Check in: super easy, no staff on site because it was late and off-season but entry instructions were clear and easy. Main lobby is a great lounge area with tons of games, books, snacky stuff, full kitchen, stocked fridge. Area: awesome location, near the base of a mountain with a river stream nearby. It's magical. Room: clean, super quiet, new Mexican decor. Also, I think the floor tiles were heated, which is something I didn't think I needed in my life until that moment. Other: I didn't pool or hot tub it given wintery weather but they're there. Also, there's a really old saloon Los Ojos nearby and it's the very definition of dive bar. I felt like I was in the Hateful Eight. Oh, there's the jemez springs which is also great in the winter I'll be back.

Sydney at the front desk recognized me when I came back and she was able to get us a room that minimized the amount of walking to/from as one family member is currently have mobility issues. The rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, the parking lot is safe, and the breakfast is good. They offer both corn or flower tortillas with breakfast. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are nice to wind down after a long day driving. It is a small town and there aren't a lot of places to eat, but we've all been happy with both Nachos and La Hacienda which are both located near the hotel. The hotel also has some frozen meals available that are very inexpensive if you just want to microwave something quick to eat before heading to sleep. We have stayed here many times over the years and have never had any problems. I think this is the second time I've reviewed them, but we've been stopping here every year or two for what I think is about twenty years now.

Booked stay through priceline for 2 rooms while standing at front desk because rates were cheaper…read more Front desk person said she should get the reservation quickly and would let me know as soon as received. Unfortunately, Priceline defaulted to 2 weeks out and yes it is my fault for not double checking date. Contacted Priceline and they stated that it was a non-cancellation but if hotel agrees to honor cancellation and refund then they will do that. Spoke with lady at desk and she stated that manager was already gone for the evening but she would leave a note and let her know what happened and that it shouldn't be an issue for her to approve cancellation. Went back on priceline to book stay for the correct night, that night. In the morning spoke with a lady who said she was the manager and had seen the note, talked with the person that worked in the evening and had already taken care of cancellation and I should be receiving my refund. A week passed and I had not seen a credit on my card. Called Priceline and they said they have not received anything from hotel but would honor if/when received. Called hotel and was told that the GM said will not refund then why was I told my someone who said they were the manager that I would receive my refund. Called corporate and was told that they would check into situation and get back, week later and no reply. I followed up and was told the ticket was closed, no reply by mail, email, phone....wow, that's terrible customer service. Said they spoke with hotel manager was told the cancellation date came after the stay and that there was a year cancellation policy??? what?? that doesn't even make sense cancellation was put in same day as booked on line for the wrong future date so how can it past the date?? This whole situation has just been terrible and feel like I was lied to by hotel employees.

The Santa Fe room that I stayed in was charming and clean. The one critique would be the shower. It's very tight quarters and the shower head was stuck in one direction. But the next time that I come I will just bring my own detachable shower head and problem solved. I will be making this place my regular stop when I need to get out of ABQ :-) Thank you so much Lawanda, Debbie and Larry for helping ensure that I had a kick ass weekend!! :-)

I'm a IHG member, so that was disappointing getting the wrong room. The pullout bed had no sheets or blankets. None in the room either. Called the front desk and asked if they could bring some up, they told us no, we had to go get them ourselves from the front desk. The room wasn't great. The bathroom door didn't close all the way and the door stopper on the wall was falling off. Breakfast was good for a hotel. Warm foods and tasted good enough. Overall... Disappointed being a $200+ per night for poor service, wrong room, and the room we got was janky.
