My friend did pay and picked up 1/2 my stuff but I had to leave half my unit there because not enough room and did reassure its okay. I was planning on going back to get the other half another trip without her knowing about it because I didn't want to worry her about it but I underestimated how much it would cost to go from province to another with the cost of everything. My bed, sewing fabric and other items i was using for craft projects (making a indoor gardening stand). I did call when I couldn't afford it (used all my savings that I wasn't using for college and kept paying for a couple months which lead me to being homeless now) and signed everything I could for abandoning it and now I'm getting calls that its no longer valid or not enough days have passed and the amount of days changed a couple of times and was told to call a certain day and the manager is not even there. they were very adamant about the online review and did give them a good review but now I wouldn't recommend them, It feels like they were waiting for the google review first and the calls are constant reminder of what I'm losing which may not be much to ppl but it was the 1st mattress I could afford (I've always been part of the poorest of the poor even when working 2 jobs and about 16 hrs a day. so a 15inch memory foam mattress that I spent a couple years saving up for and losing may not seem like alot to other but it was my 1st item I spoiled myself with and each call is a horrible reminder of what I'm losing!!!. *Im still dealing with this so ill update with the results!* *Results* THANK YOU GINA, CALVIN, TAMARA, DUPSY and BETTY!!! you guys are amazing and have been amazing (this doesn't feel like a strong enough word!!!) I honestly feel like I'm in a movie, I was ready to abandon my unit because of hard times and couldn't afford it anymore and the Manager Tamara reached out to her Regional Managers Gina and Calvin and they have been so understanding of my situation and that I can pick up. I don't have words to explain how grateful, it honestly feels like a movie because this stuff doesn't normally happen only in movies or rare situations you see on the news! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!!The 5 star system is not high enough rating system for what this team has done, they have gone above and beyond even when I didn't think they were!!!! But I was so wrong Tamara and her team really do treat you like family and I wish I could put the emotions feeling right now into this post for those reading this review to understand how amazing this Team and Location is and how the amazing there regional managers are!!! I will only recommend this company to anyone in the future!!! Definitely recommend getting the big boxes for the kitchen, if you have lots of pots pans and small appliances. The people running this show are friendly professional and on time. Well, I am moving- moving from Mission ( the flood was interesting :( - my VW beetle never…read moresurvived it ) to a condo I have bought - so Woohoo! I am excited for sure. I was looking for a good option for boxes - in the past Ive done the cardboard liquor store box thing - my sister advised I never do that again! So I did some research and got 2 quotes, one from Frogbox and one from Ecobox. Ecobox was literally more than 50% less. Now you may be thinking, why would I want to rent boxes? Well primarily - it makes the moving day easier, the boxes are uniform, stack and work and add in delivery and pick up and its a very good thing. Ecobox has free delivery and pick up - Frogbox did not ( a 55 dollar savings). I ordered the # 2 combo - 25 regular size ( they are the green boxes ) and 10 of the large ( blue), for 5 weeks of rentals it cost me about 140 bucks. Good thing too, is that renting boxes is a good motivator to unpack all your stuff and set up your new pad. The boxes themselves are solid plastic ( not too heavy with locking lids ( no tape needed of course) the handles are soft round edged plastic, not sharp. Very easy to move and lift. Now onto the details of my experience. First impression - the website was easy to use and the confirmation email back was great - very friendly and easy - everything on the receipt was worded in a way that was very cool. Almost conversational, a little detail, but cool. I followed up with a phone call just to double check - the woman on the phone was sooo nice. I ended up asking for them a week earlier to make sure I have enough time to pack, and the girl said no worries - they will just bill you when they drop em off. So today the boxes arrived ( my drop off window was between 10am and 12 pm and they were right on time - literally just before 10. The guys were incredibily friendly and "real" - genuine is perhaps a better word. Very nice. They zipped my credit card through a little card reader on an iphone ( cool) and emailed the receipt for the extra week I requested. Even gave me labels for my boxes. Next time I see these folks will be on pick up day. All in all, a great experience and I cant recommend them enough. It definitely paid to shop around. Ecobox is great - and great for the environment too. Love it.

It made packing and unpacking easier as we just chucked our stuff into bins and then unpacked as we could. We also got bags for mattresses and other packing supplies from them. We just returned the last of our bins today and we started renting them just under a year ago. I highly recommend this service!
