Pina Colada : The frozen, slushy drink with a splash of rum chilled me to the core. It was quite refreshing; and if you are under 21, you can always have a virgin pina colada. Oxtail Beff Patty: This patty was stuffed with both tender oxtail and beef while the flaky, outer crust had a light crunch. Oxtail with Mac and Cheese: Of course, I can never get enough oxtail, which is why I couldn't resist having it as a platter. The macaroni and cheese was loaded with cheddar and quite cheesy. Jerk Chicken: The juicy jerk chicken has the perfect combination of fire and heat. You can never get enough jerk sauce with one of my favorite Jamaican entrees. Feel free to lavishly pour the jerk sauce on the entire plate; and save room for the cabbage. This place has a nice selection of hot foods and desserts. I got three empanadas and at 3.50 a piece I thought they were not going to be worth it (they looked avg size) but I was wrong because they were stuffed ! I got the buffalo chicken, steak and cheese, and chorizo. Buffalo chicken wasn't your traditional buff, with no real spice, but the chicken was moist. The steak and cheese was juicy with more steak than cheese which gave it a nice balance. Lastly my favorite was the chorizo, spicy, filled with flavor from the added peppers, and the chorizo was not dried out at all! All the empanadas weren't super crispy, but had a good outside texture with little to no grease ! Next time I am definitely going to try the rotisserie chicken because it looked fantastic!
