Jerk chicken with mac & cheese

Nice little spot, ate two days in a row while in the neighborhood. Food was tasty and fold were supper friendly.

BBQ cauliflower with veggies, plantains, rice. Vegan dish

As a vegan I am so happy to have found a place to enjoy Jamaican/Caribbean food. They normally have two Main vegan dishes available. I have had the jerk lentils and the Lima beans. They both come with two sides. They are absolutely amazing!Fresh, flavorful, and great portions. The Lima bean dish is my absolute favorite. Attached I have a picture of the vegan protein soup, which is amazing. I also have a picture of the BBQ cauliflower, which is the first time I have seen it on the menu. I hope not the last because it was unbelievably good! Their BBQ sauce is insane. I will also like to add I only ever order door dash, so I have never been there, but have spoken to someone on the phone. They were extremely kind and let me know if I call ahead of ordering on doordash they will have the food ready for the driver.

Beef stew and chicken curry
Michelle B.

Hands down the BEST beef stew and curry chicken ever. Food is made fresh daily...I know this because I wanted the oxtail and jerk chicken they were still Cooking! Beef Pattie's were flaky, fresh and sooooooo good. Definitely coming back! Place is super clean but very small. There are some tables and I counted 6 chairs. Owners are very nice and friendly. They take credit cards!

Jerk Chicken

This is a small restaurant with seating for 5-6 people at best but the food is out of this world. Growing up in MD in a diverse place I've tried many jerk chickens and oxtail but this place is the best I've ever had and I couldn't be happier that it's so close to home. We've been here in the last few days twice now cause we kept thinking of it. Day 1 we tried the stewed beef and curry chicken and I'm not even a fan of curry and it was delicious. Day 2 we had the oxtail and Jerk chicken (pictured) and both exceeded expectations with just the right amount of spice and were just cooked to perfection. The max and cheese was on point and the homemade Jamaican beef patties made by a chef trained in Jamaica (per the chef/owner) were so good we ordered more to go to take home to the kids. Definitely this place goes to the top of my favorite hidden gems.

Jerk Chicken lunch special

The place is really small, but don't let this intimidate you, the food is really good, you can get a lunch special for $5. If you eat in don't expect a China plate fork and knife, you get a paper plate and a fork and two napkins. Service.... there's no service you get a guy behind the counter and he will call you when your food is ready. There's also no menu, whatever is in the wall that's what they have. The place is clean which is A+ fora small restaurant. Parking is on the street and usually there's always a place to park. I been in many Caribbean/Jamaican restaurants and this one of the best.

Never disappoints. Best homestyle Caribbean food you can get in town. I also had the best homemade banana pudding, to accompany the great food.

Stew chicken with rice & peas, mac & cheese and cabbage.

From the tropical shores of Cuba to the snow-capped Andes of Chile, Latin American cuisine tells…read morethe story of conquest, migration, and cultural fusion through every aromatic bite. This vibrant culinary tapestry weaves together indigenous ingredients, European techniques, African traditions, and Asian influences to create some of the world's most exciting and diverse food experiences. For over the past two decades, these chefs have elevated traditional ingredients and techniques to new heights. We've passed this restaurant many times on a busy River Road in Fair Lawn and decided to stop in. Upon entering this warm and cozy interior without a reservation as first-timers, my partner and I managed to locate a table outside on this summer-like day. Juany's Cafe is a cozy, family-run establishment making a great impression as a place for brunch on locals and visitors. The owner is Peruvian, and the Mexican cook began in the kitchens of his homeland, known for its authentic Latin-inspired cuisine. We decided on the Latin bowl with marinated steak accompanied by black beans, sautéed veggies, avocado, and sweet plantains & Grilled Chicken Burritos with Sweet Potato Fries. Complimentary fruit salad started our meal. All ingredients were fresh, and the seasonings were unique with their bold flavors. There was a wait time for food as everything was homemade, made to order, and well presented. The prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the food. Our server was friendly and accommodating. The service was a bit slow due to a large party group. Brunch is the norm here, but we can't wait to try it out for dinner.

Stopped here on a saturday when we really needed breakfast and this was a great choice. The kids…read moreoptions were perfectly sized- pancakes, eggs and choice of protein. I had the arepa special that came with a side salad and hubby had the huevos ranchero. The black beans were some of the best beans ive ever had. The arepas were pretty much perfect as well. The service was very good as well, with the owner coming to apologize after my order was very wrong and I received eggs Benedict instead of the arepa special. The restaurant is clean and the Latin inspired design is very pretty. Three kids meals and w adult ones and it came to about $100. Pricey for breakfast but I very much enjoy my food
