Highly personal, engaging and interactive experience. We made pasta, fish and dessert. Along the way, we asked numerous questions, about everything from terminology to sodium in salt to types of Olive oil and how to properly dice. Julie is an expert and happily shared her knowledge. All of the ingredients were high quality, including the salt and balsamic vinegar, and the fish and the pasta. Each dish was paired with a bottle of wine, and Julie even had a snack for us to enjoy while we cooked. Julie's house is lovely. We dined al fresco on her patio underneath the large oak trees. We were scheduled for 4 hours but Julie took her time with us. We ended up being there for 5 and a half hours. It was a lovely experience and one that we would highly recommend.

I happen to be in the latter group, and I have to say that I am impressed by the students on campus, the education they're receiving, and the quality of food they're putting out! I came in today for a lunch, expecting a fancy, multiple course meal; which is precisely what I got! What made the experience more rewarding was getting to learn a bit about the cooking school's seasonal restaurant. The recipes are created by the students, or at least partially so, and the servers working within the school's restaurant are also students as well. As a former college student that worked in food service during my undergrad years, it was great to see the level of professionalism and dedication the students brought to the table (literally!), and I was impressed by the seamless ability of the students to work both in front and in the back of the house. Usually within the industry, it's one of the other. To have a student chef who happened to develop your recipes also serve you is a treat in itself. The food, of course, was the other treat. I could go on about the meal's decadence: the juxtaposition of the light, flaky crust and the thick, hearty mushroom gravy in the mini pot pie appetizer, or the tenderness of the pork belly that literally melted in my mouth. Words wouldn't do the meal justice. But I will leave a few short words for the dessert: the single best carrot dish I've ever had. And this is coming from someone who will 95% of the time choose savory over sweet. (I'm saying 95% because I would have been content with four courses of the carrot ginger pana cotta today and I'm not ashamed to admit it). My instructor was awesome and the online learning platform was surprisingly user friendly. I learned a ton (maybe too much -- now my friends don't want to drink wine with me because I can't help but start dropping wine facts)! The class consisted of several self-paced modules (written content, a few self-check quizzes, videos, etc.), and three Zoom class sessions with group tastings that were recorded in the event you could not attend. I took the WSET Level 1 exam immediately after the course ended and it felt like a piece of cake (passed with no issues!) after making my way through all of Napa Valley Wine Academy's content. If you're looking to get a great foundation in wines and preparation for the exam, I definitely recommend Napa Valley Wine Academy's courses, but if you are looking for something more interactive to build community, I would not recommend the online courses -- nobody in my class used the discussion feature and I did not connect with a single classmate. I really enjoyed Level 1 and would have already signed up for Level 2 if it weren't so expensive....hopefully one of these days!

Lots of religious statues and artwork such as Stations of the Cross. There are candles to put money in the box for special devotion, with a kneeler, too. Priests and readers use microphones, as do the singers and musicians who provide music during Mass. There are good acoustics and you can hear well. IMO The Church has s several doors to enter church. I sometimes forget what door I came in and what door to leave, LOL! The Church body pews circle outlines the altar. The parish has an elementary school on site; St. John the Baptist Catholic School. There was no apology letter. it was Moore brush it under the rug. I should've done more for my son. The wasn't even an apology letter or how many kids were involved. They did more to protect the races kids that are being taught this at home, which is a form of child abuse. My son that was up. no parent apologize to my son Ethan and no parent apologize or try to talk to me about it. My son has a yearbook so I'm gonna ask him to go through and tell me every kid that was involved. I will not post that information, but I would like to know who these parents are that think that this is OK.
