The owner was kind enough to make us a mixture of beer and wine, which was surprisingly very tasty. There was also a wide selection of foods (you have to try the wood fired pizza!). Though some shops, like the dice shop, are so tiny inside its a big mistake to take a wheelchair inside. The women's bathroom/privy before you go through the gates needs a lot of work. Toilets are clogged before the gates even open at 11am. Some toilets rock when you sit on them because they're not properly affixed to the floor. There's only one accessible stall and it was clogged this time which meant I had to use a much too small stall, with the door open because my chair was in the way. The food is, as you can imagine, expensive. $9 for chicken tenders, which I found dry. I got an iced coffee at The Dark Knight... and the server seemed angry to be there. She told us there weren't any lids for the cup, when there were plenty of other cups with lids... driving downhill in a wheelchair while carrying a cup, with liquid sloshing all over the place is not my idea of fun. And it wasn't even any good. We were super stoked to find the TARDIS. And I have my eye on a fancy hat I want to buy when we return for their Halloween experience. I hope I have more money then cuz handmade goods can be costly.

As we were catching up with a friend we hadn't seen in a while, we sat for several hours outside.  During this time we ordered more than $100 in wine and food and were among a small handful of visitors that evening.  There was conflicting information about what time the place closed; their website and social media had contradicting times.  Regardless, one of the servers/food-runners, a young gentleman, helped us close out our check at which time we asked when they close.  He informed us they'd be closing the kitchen and drink sales within the hour, but continued saying we could stay as long as we'd like since we were sitting outside.  Fast-forward about an hour an older gentleman, who was the bartender and I'm assuming the owner, came up to our group and said in an annoyed voice, "You needed to be out of here an hour ago.  So, you need to get going."  He then stood there and stared at us while we gathered our belongings, made our way to our cars, and drove away. Had it not been for this negative experience I would have gladly returned as everything else about this place is pretty great.  Management should make sure their hours on their website and social media match, and, most importantly, get their staff on the same page about the policy for visitors outside who aren't staying on the property.

It was fascinating and clear he really understands his work and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with customers! They also have beer available from local breweries like Evergrain. There are some food options available as well. They host trivia monthly and have live music on occasion, too! If you like sweet (and I mean VERY sweet) wines you MUST try the Cotton Candy! It's made from Cotton candy grapes and is spectacular. We really enjoyed the tasting and got a bottle of Reisling to enjoy at home. We will most definitely be returning (especially once it's warm enough to enjoy their patio)!

We tried the Vidal Blanc, Vignoles, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chambousin, Turtle Rock Red, Sangiovese and Pinot Noir. We bought a glass of the Ice Franc. My favorites were the Turtle Rock Red and Pinot Noir which we bought. The prices are fair. Definitely a fan of the wine; it's a great value. Outstanding customer service. Would love to come back when it is a bit warmer and sit on their outside area, look out onto the vineyards and sip some wine.

I was happy to snag a reservation for the Tasting Room at Waltz today as I planned a leisurely…read moreafternoon. I placed a reservation request in the morning, and they called me in the early afternoon to let me know there was availability, which was great. I appreciated the variety of 15 wines from which you could sample to create your tasting. My picks consisted of: -2020 Sauvignon Blanc -2020 Fusion (white) -2020 Cellar 1599 Riesling: Cellar 1599 is a Waltz label, for reference. -2018 Cellar 1599 Red Blend -2017 Baron Red I won't go into detail on my experiences with each wine, but I did have a glass (and then buy a bottle) of the Riesling. The tastings come in little tasting tubes that are basically test tubes. While some might find that unusual, I'm a science person, so I liked it! They also have a cheese board (choose one of four cheeses) with chocolate and crackers, which I added. The tasting room staff were friendly and accessible. It was a beautiful day and lots of families were out on the large lawn. Too bad there isn't a restaurant here, or it would be even more of a win. In any case, Waltz is a winner!
